As always, love the rawness of the vids. Amazing how gravity can wear you out on a downhill ride. That's a badass bike Knott...I wonder if anyone took him up on his offer to give it a test ride.
My legs are still tired from yesterday’s lengthy ride but watching this video suddenly they’re refreshed and I feel the need for MTB speed. Funny how riding a bike becomes so addictive 😎🤘
Knot was a big help to me when I was trying to replace my plus sized tires on my Chameleon. It was an hour drive to get there but I wasn't having any luck in my local shops getting a decent suggestion on what I could use. Nobody really knew much about plus sized tires and what was available. Knot pointed me at some really good choices and a few days later a set of Schwalbes showed up at my door. Those tires are awesome. Now I'm thinking I should invest the time to go find some of those trails. They look awesome!
Thanks for the video. Riding every trail in the Simi Valley area was the best memories a bicyclist can have. Kick ass trails and beautiful views don't exist here in NY.
Such calm and nice guys working at WC! If i would live in the states they would become my favorite store in no time! Great riding Brian! Challenging and interesting trails again.
The packed lunches story! hahah Always a good thing knowing the person wrenching on your bike is also a solid shredder! And those Hawaiian jerseys are epic!!
Tommy, so nearby the Simi trails are some amazing jump trails......MTBfiend did a vid of of them.... enjoy, and yes it's gonna be a hot one this weekend, stay safe!!
Hell to the Yeah... good stuff! Believe it or not B, that has some "Central Texas trail vibe" to it. We're not all flatland, cattle & tumbleweeds round here! :-)
Brian killer vid as always, next time your here in Simi you have to ride the trails from Oak Park into Simi, and ride Las LLenas to rocky peak then down Chumash, pain = pleasure!!
People need to experience it first hand, this spot has crazy energy. From the rock formations to the views, the feeling of insignificance next to these boulders, like a mouth full of dust. Speaking of eating, if you dig pastrami and fries, look for a spot called "The Hat" in Simi valley.
Hey brian its norman i leave my phone in the house but i find a way to watch you even in my work huhu but some one had a good heart she let me barrow his phone and then she subscrive too.... Safe ride bro see u on the trail.
Nice! You got on the newer trail (Undertow) on your visit! There are a handful more you still need to go on when you're down here next Brian. Keep it up still love'n the vids!
I do hope you bought Jack the Lad a Lunch Brian lol he did a Good Job clean your bike would love Demo there bike shame not closer one day maybe ;0) grate trail thumbs Up buddy
nice riding, I hit grudge and hummer today and it was HOT and LOOSE! If you have more time down here you might like Middle Sam Merril and Sunset Ridge over in Altadena
BKXC in Aguadilla (a costal city ) there is a 22mile blue trail i have yet to shred since im having bike issues but most of our trails are blue squares with a few black diamond or green trails
BKXC all of them are quite scenic and are only hours away from the capital city. The only thing I'll recommend is bring lots of water and sunblock, our summer sun can be punishing
If he was serious, I don't think he would have added that section to the edit. Why would he openly want everyone he was a dick, if he was serious? 99.99% sure he was being sarcastic.
Nice trail! What bike rack do you use? I'm buying a new hitch rack soon so looking for recommendations. Also have to ask, how do you like the Multi-Directional Release cleats compared to the regular cleats you were using?
BKXC Thanks! Riding flats right now and I don't have a problem with them but I'm interested in trying clips with the Multi-Directional cleats. Glad to hear you're liking them.
Yes, I WILL shop at Worldwide Cyclery bc of their relationship to Brian in these videos. They seem legit, great attitude, real people, and they ride local. Win!
Normally I show your vids to the wife and son, 7th grade....but turned this one off because of so much swearing...what’s up? You are always so positive and fun without cursing.....just a little criticism from a long time watcher and supporter.... I rode Big Bear last weekend scoping out easier trails for my wife to ride....Big Bear is Good! Thanks for those two videos!
Check out this link and look for the blue and green trails: www.trailforks.com/region/ventura-county/ The map doesn't tell the whole story but you can get a decent idea of some of the stuff you might want to try.
Good times out there with you!!!
..great riding you guys!...loving the Hawaiian jersey!...
Hell yes, always a fun ride!
As always, love the rawness of the vids. Amazing how gravity can wear you out on a downhill ride. That's a badass bike Knott...I wonder if anyone took him up on his offer to give it a test ride.
I rode these trails way back in late 90s. Yup, I'm old.
Nice!!
Did you ride the trails in the 90's on a hardtail with front suspension?
Yes I did.
My legs are still tired from yesterday’s lengthy ride but watching this video suddenly they’re refreshed and I feel the need for MTB speed. Funny how riding a bike becomes so addictive 😎🤘
Hahah love that!
Knot was a big help to me when I was trying to replace my plus sized tires on my Chameleon. That really is one of the best things about Worldwide, you can always just call them up and ask them ANYTHING and they'll figure it out for you.
So rad to see you roll the trails I ride👍👍👍✨
They're so damn good Stu!
Thanks Bock! Yep, these guys are the real deal
Great video. Knott helped me out at worldwide the other day and he does a great job.
That's great!
The packed lunches story! hahah Always a good thing knowing the person wrenching on your bike is also a solid shredder! And those Hawaiian jerseys are epic!!
Hahah yes!!
Awesome MTB right
Thats my sick local trail!!!! 👊🏽🥇
The opening shot's scenery looks like a different planet. I need to make a trip out west and ride. Great video, keep up the awesome work man!!!
Felt like it too!!
Fun fact! Simi Valley has often been used by Hollywood to emulate alien worlds, because of its proximity to the studios and its crazy terrain.
Really nice trails... not to rough and just by looking at it i can tell it's fun as hell!!
It's such a unique landscape, one of my all time favorite spots
Simi Valley is awesome! Did 3 laps last time I was there, half dead with the climbing, but well worth it.
"Just one more!!"
Hummingbird trail! It's a blast!
Really fun!!
Dope riding Brian! Can't get enough of Simi Valley trails. I will be there this Sunday, it's gonna be hot as hell but should be a good time
I'm at a tire shop right by there right now and it was 95 out at 8 am. I was going to ride while I waited for tires until I saw how hot it is.
Uncle Grandpa I only get to ride on Sundays. That's my church, I go ride whether it's rain, snow or 100 degrees outside.
Those trails are so damn good and so many of them!
Tommy, so nearby the Simi trails are some amazing jump trails......MTBfiend did a vid of of them.... enjoy, and yes it's gonna be a hot one this weekend, stay safe!!
Adam Dunlap yeah I rode with MTB Fiend that same day before he went to Simi. My buddy Chris was actually the who took MTB Fiend to the jump trail.
Hell to the Yeah... good stuff! Believe it or not B, that has some "Central Texas trail vibe" to it. We're not all flatland, cattle & tumbleweeds round here! :-)
OH wow, now you're speaking my language cowboy!
Love that trail
So good!!
Brian killer vid as always, next time your here in Simi you have to ride the trails from Oak Park into Simi, and ride Las LLenas to rocky peak then down Chumash, pain = pleasure!!

Ok, I’m driving up to Simi Valley to ride those trails this fall.
Hell yes
People need to experience it first hand, this spot has crazy energy. From the rock formations to the views, the feeling of insignificance next to these boulders, like a mouth full of dust. Speaking of eating, if you dig pastrami and fries, look for a spot called "The Hat" in Simi valley.
You are so right!

BKXC Blowing Up
word
Hey Brian have you ever thought of shedding trails in Puerto Rico we got plenty of elevation and scenic views
No one has brought it up!
Don’t know if Brian was joking... never seen him mad if he was really mad
Well wouldn’t you think he would off edited out
Haha just some sarcasm. Not to worry :)
Bro if you watch his channel you will know he's not the type of person who cares if he picks up a scratch here and there he was clearly joking
not joking . Sensitive cry babygirl 😂 peace God damn it
Thanks Brian for turning us on to the hot ones show but now I think you need to go on it and eat some hot wings!
NICE!
Brian's bringing down those puns
HAha yes
Wish i had that confidence!
Man, it takes a while to build up!
Been there. Grudge trails are no joke.
Quite the adventure!
nice vid my dude!
Thakns
What happened on 6:12? Did u really got mad there? Lol
bawsx u dont just get mad at someone who just toured you at the trail. It wasnt like he tried to break or damage the bike intentionally
bawsx what r u even talking about bro? I just ask him if reallt got mad, thats it. You’re overreacting too much here...
Hahaha that was just some good old fashioned sarcasm...
Def not joking, yikes Brian
If he was serious, I don't think he would have added that section to the edit. Why would he openly want everyone he was a dick, if he was serious? 99.99% sure he was being sarcastic.
So cool dude !
Hell yeah!
It's not the slab that gets you, it's the rock right after. I have to remember that.
Haha no doubt about it!
1:10 He has a BKXC license plate 😲
Gotta let em know I'm coming to make it fair
Would be good for you to try the sentinel and compare it to the rallon.
Definitely worth a test ride.
Wish if we had a bike park here😢
Hope pro 4
@Up
When will you come to Upper Michigan and ride the trails of Marquette?!
Those "South" trails are looking mighty tempting!
Reminds me of the MOAB videos I've seen
VEry similar indeed!
Please go back to the alps , loved the mont blanc videos
I heard PUUHWAA!!! LOL
Hahaha yes
You had that drop on hummingbird. Maybe next time
Definitely!
Nice video
Thanks
I crashed really bad going down a black diamond and now I'm scared with down hill. How do I get the courage to go down technical down hill?
Start back at the easiest stuff and build your way back!
Thanks
Nice video brot
Thanks!
Have you ever tried to do cross Country race ?
Nice license plate!
Thanks!!
Nice trail! What bike rack do you use? I'm buying a new hitch rack soon so looking for recommendations. Also have to ask, how do you like the Multi-Directional Release cleats compared to the regular cleats you were using?
I use the 1upUSA rack and I really like it! Multi directional is the way to go, I only messed up and bought the other type on accident.
BKXC Thanks! Riding flats right now and I don't have a problem with them but I'm interested in trying clips with the Multi-Directional cleats. Glad to hear you're liking them.
I really love your Orbea ....always Like 👍👍👍your video😁 i am from vietnam....What is your current job?
Thong Van he does this for a job.
Thanks man! RUclips is my job
Vlogger's worst enemy... Dust. By the way how'd that dirt taste? Also great vid👍
Haha tasted bad!
Could you ride these trails on a hardtail? I'm local and want to get into mountain biking.
6:08 were you really yelling at the kid? if i yelled at someone in my video i'd cut it out and not put it
Yes, I WILL shop at Worldwide Cyclery bc of their relationship to Brian in these videos. They seem legit, great attitude, real people, and they ride local. Win!
They're a good spot!
Beginning of every video has a big TV14 for a reason! Oh nice, I've heard some good stuff about Big Bear!
Are there any moderate trails that are fairly easy to ride?
Check out this link and look for the blue and green trails: www.trailforks.com/region/ventura-county/
The map doesn't tell the whole story but you can get a decent idea of some of the stuff you might want to try.
Is this Southern California?
Yup yup! Simi Valley
what hub he had in the front?
does worldwide cyclery only ship with the US?
They ship worldwide
i should have expected that
Whats the meaning of life Brian?
Leave the world a better place than you found it.
Dude, that's one of the best answers I've ever gotten to that question. Bravo
dis sheet rite meow. woow - need to get out west. the east coast trails just cant compare
Yeah man, get some!
You seem to hop in to any non marked white vans.
David Martin that's the way mountain biking is. Cars are basically free shuttles to the top of the hill.
Always tempted by the free candY!
Notification squad
Dude, you're not out here riding in that 10,000 degree weather, are you?
No, this was a few weeks ago!
At in n out they have a secret menu the most popular secret menu item is animal fries
Yup!
What was that first trail. It looked like undertow but I’m not sure
It was Undertow.
Yup, link in the description
Gnarly, slabby, janky, smoothy, faster, loosey goosey.
Hahaha yes!
🅱️eautiful
thanks!
Hit upper stage coach.
Your videos are too good not to watch
Thanks!
Hello

Most definitely back on the multis!
Your youtube channel is awesome, but there’s a little thing you could do to make your videos even better. Get some more camers angels.
Thanks dude
