It’s absolutely Karma for how they treated Baker and I’m all for it.
the entire front office, coaching tree and 60% of the roster has changed since the Mayfield days.... It's on ownership, and nobody else.
The Ultimate Cleveland show kept highlighting every bad game Baker had when he was with Carolina. Like they were rooting for him to fail. I am here for it too.
They gave baker everything he needed he had a prime Odell and Landry and a healthy nick chubb and the best offensive line in the nfl he couldn’t never win the big division game and had two good seasons out of 4 years
Yup, even my Dad who loved the Browns, he is not longer cheering for them. He is a Tampa fan these last two years
yep! and i remember arguing with dummies a couple years ago who were saying Baker was a bust and Watson is way better and going to come and lead the Browns to victory and all that nonsense lol... yea that aged well..
The owner will never take blame 😂😂stefanski is 100% getting fired
Just like the 30 others he’s fired lol
Stefanski's a bum. His two coach of the years were participation trophies for having strong seasons under the worst organization, but those years had more to do with a phenomenal roster and tripping into quarterbacks who could carry Stefanski's questionable playcalling in the form of Baker and Flacco. Absent disfunction in the coaching staff and organization, the Browns would be a yearly playoff shoe-in even with a trashcan like Watson under center.
@@epthomas2701 Delusional. Absolutely delusional. You have to be deshaun watsons burner account like dont you have more women to assualt bro maybe you should focus on football instead of hate commenting on pat mcafee show
Which is funny because that would be the wrong decision and therefore the most browns thing possible to do.
He'll be happy to get fired and go to a decent team.
Watson and Dak are perfect examples of why the highest paid player is NEVER the best player.
Cowboys roster is garbage though. No run game, no OLine, terrible defense.
Browns are a good team, just don’t have a QB.
Don't forget lawrence
Technically Dak balled out last year, statistically he was in the MVP conversation, they just suck in the playoffs. 12-5 record, had over 4,500 yards passing, 36 TD passes, had a few more rushing TDs to add. Had a passer rating over 105. He did his thing last year, at least give him credit for that, his owner doesn't help by messing up drafts all the time too.
And I can't stand Dallas bc I'm a Texans fan. But I'll be real about Dak, dude was on point last season. I haven't kept up this season bc my team is more important to me.
Mahomes disagrees with you but I get recency bias is a thing for you
@@salineaddict9850 dak is inconsistent asf. Did you not watch the game yesterday? He blew 🐓
I think the Browns forgot who they were. 38 different starting QBs in 25 years. They were the laughing stock of the league for quite a while. And then, FINALLY, they had a good QB in Baker, who was excited to be there, and excited to represent the Cleveland Browns. And they kicked him to the curb. I am enjoying their downfall tbh.
Never trust the Browns to do the right thing.
You can always trust them to do the funniest thing to there franchise @@LeDank
Baker wasn't gonna be good here and if you believe that you're goofy.
@@ImStillLandy Your probably right.. but I would say its clear that what would hold Baker back is the Browns..
Current "on hiatus" Browns fan here. 35 years old, been a fan since 1999. Baker was the best QB by far we ever had. I'll never forgive fellow Browns fans for how they treated him. Even hurt Baker was better than most QBs we've started. Baker deserved to go somewhere else with better fans. I actually thought Jimmy Haslam was on the right track and making the Browns respectable. Now I'm not sure there is a team respected less in the whole league.
It is Cathartic watching Watson and the Browns organization drown while Baker balls like a franchise QB.
Baker also got the best Wr duo in the nfl with one of the best o line in the nfl and he in the sorry nfc south division

Meanwhile Baker is lighting it up in Tampa Bay. How is the upgrade at QB working out for y’all?
Browns thought they were a r*pist away from the SB. WRONG
Rapists can only play defense
Worked for the Steelers, tbh
Craziest thing is baker was never bad on the browns other than the last year when he absolutely destroyed his left shoulder and probably shouldn’t have been playing. He broke the rookie record for touchdown passes at the time and didn’t even start every game. They have weapons on offense, above average o-line, and a solid defense. Can you imagine how good they would be if they kept baker and had all the picks they traded for Watson back?
Not just baker and the picks but the cap space. They’d have like an extra 50 million every year to improve the roster
In the moment a lot of Browns fans (myself included) definitely doubted baker for good reason, he looked awful that last year. I didn’t want him gone, but it was hard to root for him after a certain point. That said, I don’t know if he’d be as good as he’s been if he stayed in Cleveland. I think the situation leaving ultimately made him in the qb he is in TB. Also, watson is a cancer. Watson is cancer.
@@ryangirard9739 yall put baker out there with a busted throwing arm and were confused why he wasn’t playing as well anymore. Dude clearly just had to get healthy and would be playing like baker again
that was his choice to not sit. he put himself out there because he was afraid of being replaced while playing for a new deal.
it was his non-throwing shoulder. torn left labrum.
Meanwhile Baker leading the NFL in Passing TD's lmao. 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
The Browns are poverty franchise 😂
Well said
They are the first class of all poverty franchises. They’ve been garbage as long as I’ve existed (1997).
They are looking at drafting Qwin QB from Texas.
Well there’s a lot of poverty citizens in this country so at least ppl can relate. 😂
Have been my whole life. Them and the jaguars
Groper Cleveland was a terrible signing
Lol that’s hilarious
😂😂😂
hahaha. this deserves a pin!!!!
Presidential burn 😂 awesome
Quarterbacks getting 50 million + year contracts and huge guaranteed contracts ruins franchises for decades if they wrong. Just ask Browns, Jaguars, Cowboys,
"bUt bUt tHe MaRkeT, tHaT's jUsT hOw iT wUrX!!!!"
The market is as dumb as NFL owners have made it.
Dolphins tbd…
No QB is worth that
Hmmm so we weren't ruined before Trevor's contract?
The Cowboys have had a ridiculous roster most of my life. Nobody ever said the Cowboys didn’t succeed due to a lack of talent. There’s no guaranteed contract in the world that can explain how bad they’ve been.
Baker is making every NFL scout question themselves
How? He was drafted no.1 overall, what happens afterwards isn't on them
Uhhh GM maybe. He was drafted 1st overall 😅
It was about race not skill
Judging Watson on a Browns-Eagles game is superfluous. Do people not know how the last like 5-6 times they've played, it's always been a 5-6 point game. The play-calling was horrible yesterday, only Njoku was consistently open.
you must not be watching. he is 43rd in passer rating in 2024. out of 32 teams. the play calling is bad because he stinks. he cannot make the plays in their offensive scheme.
Browns did Baker dirty, he wasn't terrible by any means when healthy. Browns deserve the Watson debacle for what? 2 more years? 😅🤣😂
I know one thing is for sure...
The Colts are thanking their lucky stars that Cleveland didn't even OFFER a contract for Flacco. Which is totally bizarre.
Imo Deshaun is the type of guy if he gets what he wants he won't work for it . Case in point his guaranteed contract.
I'd never give a pos any guaranteed money and expect any effort moving forward. It isn't how they calculate their part of the deal.......
Andrew Berry was being smart ended up getting played.
Agree. Another Albert Haynesworth.
That’s why he doesn’t give AF it’s guaranteed why care ya know
This is worse than the Johnny Manziel debacle.
man, thats saying something. the johnny years were tough.
As a Houston fan, I couldn't believe there was a team interested in Watson after the lawsuits, let along 4 teams that created a bidding war. It's like unloading beachfront property in Tampa as the hurricane approached
It like getting better than list price ….
Watson should be the example of why the NFL teams should never give that much money out guaranteed. . Who cares about playing football anymore when you have $230m guaranteed if you play or not. I'm not sure the Browns franchise can ever recover from this and its a shame for the fans.
It IS the example why character matters.
No reason to work hard when you've got the guarantee. Watson's just sitting back and thinking, "I've got a little change in my pocket goin' jing-a-ling-a-ling..."
(Old dad-rock guys like me will get that one)
The only solace I get with him being paid that much is that his victims are getting paid. However, there is no amount of money that will fix the trauma they have to live with for the rest of their lives.
Owners have to eat 200 million guaranteed to cut him.
billionaires. they'll get over it. so will the fans. they survived losing their team in 1995. they will survive this.
Guaranteed money 🤑💰 remains in escrow, talk about a depreciating asset 🤔🤯🤡
Couldn’t have happened to a more deserving guy lol
He deserved 230 mill? What?

@@JohnnyUtahFBIas a falcons fan, thank you guys for offering him that RIDICULOUS contract because otherwise, Deshaun would be our problem 😂
lol come back here next week when the bengals lose to the browns
Burrow is just Boomer.
Stefanski has had a great squad of players in recent years, and you could argue he's not made them reach their true potential. The running game from Chubb and Hunt during that time was the only reason they won games
I heard Berry was the prime driver to acquire Watson. I think Berry will be the first one out the door.
It doesn't make a lot of sense.
He was really good when he played for the Texans.
Are players surrounding him so bad he cant get an offense going?
@@TrulyUnfortunate I don't think it's about talent, it just seems like Watson DGAF anymore after getting that guaranteed money
too bad bc berry is a cap master. he will win some franchise a sb one day.

Here my Steelers are balling out with Fields!
He seems a little stressed, probably needs a good rub down.
Every massage therapist betting against the browns this whole season getting their money's worth 😂😂😂
Sold their soul, now paying the piper. Karma.
The real question is would Deion somehow block the Browns from drafting Shedeur like the Eli Manning Chargers situation
Oh, absolutely. He has an enormously talented kid who should go to a good team with a decent owner. And I can pretty much guarantee that Arch Manning is not going to Cleveland, either.
dont worry itll happen somehow. the nfl allowed the city of baltimore to take the real browns away. they'll allow this as well.
It’s not stefansky’s problem. He’s a good coach and was ballin with Flacco. It’s management forcing him to run with Deshaun because they can’t afford to not make it work.
Cleveland and Jacksonville are in shambles and if my Jets lose tonight, we will also be in shambles.

Most expensive tank of all time 😂
Watch Watson comeback in his prime self else where
idk after holding out in Houston for a year it doesn't seem like he's very interested in playing anymore. He got his bag. I think Watson is done after this year or the next
I don’t think another team is going to touch him at this point
2018-2023 coach’s of the year as follows Stefanski ( hot seat )
Daboll ( hot seat )
Vrabel ( fired )
Stefanski x2
John Harbaugh ( ravens fans literally wanted him fired for the last 2 season before this year)
Matt Nagy ( fired )
Coach of the year means nothing especially when you are currently the coach of the worst team in the NFL and have no reason to be with the guys on this roster.
At least have the O-Line miss some blocking assignments
They just waiting for Deshaun to play the contract out they don’t wanna pay him to leave even if he’s 💩
Browns: Graveyard of QBs
I would like to think that the Browns saved those teams, especially the Texans from disaster. Good on them for looking out for other franchises.
My man got $230 million and they expected for him to have any motivation to improve? lol
The Browns can't keep or get a good QB and they should just Draft Jeanty, beef up that Oline, getting blocking TE's and WR's and be the "new" fad of no QB, just straight hammerdawn on everyone
They need picks. It's that simple.
getting? it all started when they signed that deal and traded away years of draft capital. now they are going to get a top 3 pick and probably blow that on a qb that doesn't fit the next coach's system. rinse wash repeat.
The only thing that will save the Browns is if Watson is put in jail or gets injured.
Injury won't help, they are stuck paying him 170 million over the next 2.5 years. They need fresh accusations or a federal case against him
We love the Browns, signed all Atlanta Falcons fans.
The Deshaun Watson situation makes the Ben Simmons situation look tame.
The heists these athletes have been pulling off recently is mind blowing
You might as well throw the Russell Wilson situation in there as well.
I mean is it possible that it could be the OC change. They brought in Ken Dorsey who got fired from the Bills
It's so nice laughing at this as a Steelers fan. I liked Baker and am glad to see him thriving right now and in a good system for him. Love watching his games, and love drafting Tampa player to my fantasy team (he was a big part of me winning my league last year). I know the Ravens and Bengals fans guys agree with me on how hilarious this is to watch. Really wish we played the Browns sooner 🤣🤣🤣
Belichick's time in Cleveland is super underrated. There's a great NFL films story on it....he had that team going in a good direction until it was announced they're moving in Baltmore. He set up much of the Raven's early success. (Remember, he did beat Parcells Patriots team in the playoffs.) There's an alternate universe where they never moved, Bill stayed the coach and he probably still drafted Tom Brady, and all the Patriots success would have been the Browns.
I guess he's coaching, not to win. I guess joe was coaching the games last year. If Wastons gives him the best chance to win. Ur coaching is the problem 🗯😂
You gotta feel terrible for the product they’ve put out for Browns fans. Can’t imagine what that locker room is like currently?
Screw the Browns from a Steelers fan standpoint , i don't care how much they lose .
Why wasn't anything mentioned about Winston? It was in the thumbnail, but nothing said about him in the video. That really shows you how bad the Browns are, not just athletically, but morally. They have two of the worst examples of a person you could have as their QBs, and they're bragging about it.
Stefanski would have another job the next day if he wanted
No he wouldn’t stop it
@@thekiddsean33026he was coach of the year twice. He’ll absolutely get hired
Probably at the post office

Deshaun Watson's dead cap value for 2024 is $200,712,678. Dead cap is the amount a team owes a player who is no longer on the roster. Watson's contract with the Cleveland Browns is fully guaranteed, so the Browns are responsible for paying him even if they cut him.
Here's some information about Watson's contract and the Browns' options:
2024
Watson's cap hit for 2024 is $27,942,678, which is the highest on the team.
2025
If Watson is released after June 1, 2025, the Browns' cap charge would be $26.935 million.
2026
In the final year of his contract, Watson's dead cap charge is $99.8 million.
Cutting Watson
The Browns can't cut Watson without losing tens of millions until 2026, the final year of his deal.
From the very beginning Watson never wanted to go to Cleveland and they were not a team on his list. The only reason they got into the conversation of him joining was because they threw the bank at him and threw top picks to appease Texans organization. He’s literally only going through the motions hoping to get released to retire since he got his money already.
Haslam was like
I want him idc what it costs🤷♂️🙄
Yeah don't try the dude who threw 50 TDs while being half blind 😂
Such a terrible feeling being a fan, I got tickets to more games. Grocery bag time!
Watson is bad, but Jimmy Haslam is the problem. He keeps putting his fingers into things he doesn't understand... but thinks he does. As long as that continues, we will keep losing.
I bet that Winston’s coming in next game in garbage time💀
Nope owner doesn't want that
Jimmy litteraly wants Watson to start every game of his contract.
As a browns fan, if Stefanski and this coaching staff tie themselves to the sinking ship that is Watson then let them drown with him, if this teams wins less than 7 games FIRE EVERYONE! Myles Garret Nick Chubb and Amari Cooper are good enough to keep the window open but only if adjustments are made now, if the core gets too much older we are gonna have to blow the whole thing up and start over
This would’ve been a whole different narrative if the allegations against Watson came out AFTER they traded for him. They knew exactly what they were getting themselves into.
I'm willing to bet 230 million dollars that they would love to have Baker back on the team!
Next: Browns will fire a coach that won Coach of the Year 2xs for the Browns
Thanks Cleveland Browns coming from a Falcons fan.
It's crazy how the Bowns can be so historically bad season after season....
I mean whats up with that?
Does the owner think he's a brilliant mind when it comes to drafting players?
When were the Browns in the playoff hunt last?
If I lived in Cleveland I would have found a better team to cheer for even if it was halfway across the country!!
As a Bengals fan, I hope the Browns keep up the awesome work(we need all the helped we can get)
What does benching help? The offensive lines has third stringers and offensive line calls. If you put in a new QB it will show more disfunction, so it better to let the highest paid player take the blame for now while things get better. Hopefully.
Even a blind person could see this happening.
deshaun was once an ascendant top tier talent... and all this legal drama has sapped his talent, energy, passion, and heart. He's just a shell of himself now. He's been crumbling into ash.
As a Texans fan I find this hilarious.
What did you expect from a guy that quit his team and rode the bench getting paid as his team crashed and burn?
Watson just wants to get paid for minimum effort. No heart, no drive to win.
I live on the other side of the world and I can see Watson has no incentive to give it his all. All that guaranteed money...
I think it's also obvious he's lost his mojo because of his previous behaviour/scandals
Of course, Haslem is gonna blame the coaches, and they will be fired. He can't blame himself for wanting a player and he's locked into the player he wanted
Let’s face it there are a few factors you can look at. New O line coach and new OC coordinator now it seems like the entire offense has regressed. You could also make the argument that Stiffanski does well with pocket passer style quarterbacks like Cousins or Flacco but the owner brings him a quarterback that is a runner/ roll out style QB who isn’t a pocket passer and he’s trying to use him as a pocket passer. Definitely many ways to look at this disaster of a team
Ty is back!!!
Sorry for the fans! I’ve seen lots of browns fans wishing they still had baker or wishing baker the best
The NFL should just contract the Browns and put a new franchise in San Antonio or St. Louis. Bringing them back was a mistake.
Retarded take. The fan base in Cleveland isn't the problem, like it was in St. Louis & San Antonio previously... Cleveland has one of the most epic and loyal fan bases in the entire NFL.... No, this has everything to do with spun ownership. Do better.
And how is that the Browns fans fault?
I’m a 60 yr fan and I agree. At this point, tear down the Factory of Sadness and make it a fishing pier. More people would enjoy being there.
as a Falcons fan I am so glad we didn't shoot ourselves in the foot by getting Watson. Although they tried to shoot their own foot... the browns just took the gun before they could pull the trigger.

Haslam told Stefanski to pick one of the three QBs..and he better pick the right one: Watson, Watson, or Watson. Stefanski is telling the truth when he says he made the choice.
Joe Flacco did win with this team and they let him walk. The Browns management obviously doesn’t care about winning. Worst ownership in sports
As a Browns fan it is what we deserve for all of the stupid QB decisions they have made. Baker beat the Steelers in the playoffs!! That playoff win is the closest Brown's fans will ever feel to a super bowl victory.

The bot comments are crazy
I am not sure but I think the money the owners pay players is a tax ride off. To pay Deshaun that much money to an average quarterback was madness. When you are a billionaire you are always looking for a tax loop.
1: The term is tax write off.
2: Payroll taxes exist so by paying him that much money, all they did was increase the taxes owed.
3: Even if they did somehow benefit from reduced tax exposure this wouldn't be a tax loophole. A tax loophole is taking advantage of written language in the tax code for use that it was never intended for.
For example if you're wealthy and want to help your child start a business if you give them $100,000 it would be taxable even as a gift.
If you loan them $100,000 it's not. The fact you don't really expect them to pay it back doesn't matter. On the books a loan is a loan.
Truth is after players get paid they stop trying
This is just the beginning of the end for all these run option/wildcat/playground "QB"s.
This kid was just a agile athlete who could spiral a football om occasion.
As if Stefanski has any say in the matter. They're paying $230 million for him, and they're going to play him.
nothing to play for with a fully guaranteed deal...what a clownshow. Most of these high dollar contracts are a joke, once signed, play quality drops off. What could possibly go wrong signing a bad see fully paid contract? Let's do it!
worst contract and decision in the history of sports. Name a worse one. You can’t.
huh, seems like fully guaranteeing a massive contract to an absolutely sketchy human was perhaps a bad idea?
Don't call them a dumpster fire, just call them the browns.
The Haslams can afford to eat Watsons contract. Why don't they? Both parties in this look bad and the Cleveland fans loyal as they are deserve better.
