    Hi Brian, thanks for the video. Yes, this can sometimes be a problem when you try to delete a folder in Windows. I usually, like another user, take ownership of folders and files, or I use CMD to remove the folder and its contents when the normal way to delete folders doesn't work. But this software LockHunter looks very nice take care Brian and have a nice weekend.

      @Britec09 Hey Brian, I'm currently reading that Microsoft has made some changes to the Recall feature. Copilot+ PCs will have Recall turned off by default during the setup experience, and there are some new security measures that require Windows Hello enrollment to enable Recall and "just-in-time" decryption protected by Windows Hello Enhanced Sign-in Security (ESS). There are some more changes in the Recall feature, but I still don't think many users will use it. However, it's good that Microsoft has listened because there has been a lot of criticism about how the Recall feature works. But if I buy a Copilot+PC computer, I would turn off the Recall feature. Take care, Brian. P.S. I'm going to download the Lockhunter software thanks for the tip.

    Man your channel is so underrated. i've been watching your videos for a while and i really like your informative content about Windows, your videos helped me alot.

    • @D.von.N
      @D.von.N Месяц назад

      More eye catching? I expressed my view over the excessive facial expressions, which is a mainstream thing today, quite bothersome, to be honest. We aren't a bunch of toddlers here that we need these shocked or angry faces in the thumbnails. It looks pretty cheap these days. How more eye catching can it be? Neon colours? AI fake images? Just nope.

      @@Unknown-sv9fm I see, so we are sort of on the same page here. From my point of view, a catching title would be just enough, with some illustration pic relevant to the issue. We are adult here, we can read. Or at least I can. :)

      @@D.von.N I've never had any problems with that, I have to admit though that Microsoft is trying to make it harder with every new release to setup the dual boot. I assume the issue is when you are not in you admin account. Why don't you just delete it from you admin account then?
    And if it is something that installs itself across all accounts from your admin account (assuming you wanted to have it installed), won't deleting it from one of the accounts break the system, creating some other issues down the line? The more I am learning about computers the more I get an impression that things can be messed up pretty badly if you force your own will against how the system is set up to work.

    It's remarkable that with everything Microsoft does to lock🔒down Windows (11, 10, 8.1, 7, etc...) it still remains the most IN-secure operating system in existence today, right behind Mac OS and Linux!
    Maybe Microsoft shenanigans🥳 have NOTHING, NOTHING AT ALL to do with (your) security after all!

    Just take ownership of the file/folder and allow full control permission to the current user, there is no need to install any 3rd party software.

    • @enginerd80
      @enginerd80 Месяц назад

      Yes, that can be easier if there's just one or two file to do it on. But each time it takes dozens of clicks and keypresses, and for some reason, you can't choose multiple files or folders at once for it.
      Also, it won't help if the problem is that the file is in use by a process.

    •  Месяц назад

      @@enginerd80 If there are multiple subfolders, open the terminal as admin and type takeown /F "location\of\the\folder:" /R /D Y. If the file/folder in use by a program, then you can press restart while holding the shift key in order to get into the safe mode and then remove it. Still, no need for 3rd party software.

    • @akyhne
