This is probably one of the best comparison videos I’ve seen, I think I’m leaning towards the pulse, can do eq settings yourself and the noise cancelling is great, the nova 5p with the eq presets are making the decision hard
Actually the steelseries headset have way better mic quality with the dongle! Its quality is not great with Bluetooth at all but if you try to record it when it’s connected with the stick it’s as good as the Sony’s! Nice content btw
Glad to see another solid video👊 got a challenge for you for diy controller, try to see if it possible to change the springs for a greater tension like other pro controller but with hall effect!!! , i feel this is what im missing from extreme rate diy to be perfect
I've seen a few of these reviews but they never talk about the big problem with the Sony is they brake in the middle. Happened to me with just one month of use. Take my advice go for the nova 5!
Why no one talks about the pulse elite big problem? On the two sides of the head strap that over time it starts opening and cracking on the white plastic?
yeah, no one talk about this “critical” problem the white plastic a little above right ear cup will break eventually a lot of reddit user have talk about this and mine just broke yesterday after 4-5 months of use. I’m very confident that i take care of it really good. never drop it, bend it or anything but it still break like that please take my word. “dont buy pulse elite” you could google and will find that it broken at the same place for everyone 😢
the problem actually start from the glue that keep black and white plastic has fell off and when that thin white plastic is alone it will break for sure from normal use sony has to fired whoever design this idiot product
With me the black rubber and black plastic they separate and then the white plastic has all the pressure. I had mine for 2 months until it brok and this is my second pair of pulse elite my first one lasted 5 months and this one 2 months and I am sorry to hear that, I got a new one yesterday and I am 100% sure this one happen as well so I am not going to use it is am going to get a different headset
@@KJM94616 you are wrong. Nova 5X works perfectly on PS5, you need change slider on adapter to usb device for any device - Xbox excluded. On Xbox console you move usb adapter slider to Xbox. I’ve tested Nova 5X on switch, PS5, Xbox series S/X and PC. No problem with connectivity on any of above devices. This is all in user manual.

I went with Nova 5X. Got all consoles and headset works on all. Nova 5X is compatible with every device.

5x is made for Xbox 5p is made for ps it’s the same headset, my friend couldn’t connect his 5x to his ps
