- With us getting to see and hear more and more of who NBA players really are off the court, it gives us a good idea of who the real nice guys are off the court. We get to hear stories and see the actions these players take in the positions they're in.... and it leads us to the conclusion that these 9 players are at the top of my list.

Zion being described as a withdrawn teammate by JJ Reddick put a dint in his niceness to me
I read Mirin Fader's biography of Giannis and he definitely deserves to be on the list. He didn't even want to play basketball but did so to give money to his sometimes-homeless family. He was ready to turn down going to the NBA unless his family could get visas as well. He played in the same pair of sneakers for almost his whole first season so he could send the shoes he was given back home for his brothers. He would basically go without food so he could give all of his per diem to his family.

And also, when he retired, his teammates cried! They say that Larry Bird and Michael Jordan also cried.

Idk, Latrell Sprewell seems like THE nicest dude ever. He's so kindhearted, that he'll massage his coach's throat, and ask for more money to take care of his family, and after not getting it, a few years later giving up on that family to not make them stay with a broke guy. I mean.... what a guy.

Cody Zeller and his brothers are nice dudes too. Grew up with him and they always takes the time to talk to people when they get recognized. Go to the local dollar general and shop when they are home like they did as kids. Definitely haven't let the money and fame get to them. They know where they came from... Cody will even say hi and call you buy name if he sees someone he knows at games.

I suspect you’re saying this as a joke, but I’ve met Draymond when I was a tour guide on Alcatraz. Being a Warriors fan I was lucky to have Draymond and his friend and family in my tour group. All staff and visitors who asked him to get a photo he said yes to us all with a sweet smile the whole time. Zero attitude and pure genuine kindness. Not to mention how chill and intelligent of a human being he is. So, yes I do believe Draymond is worthy to be on that list. Another player I met who was a pure sweet guy was Ian Clark.
