I know you ain't saying Kerr saved MJ in 1997. That was a big shot, HOWEVER the game was tied. If Kerr misses, either the Bulls get the rebound and possibly score, the Jazz get the rebound and score on the next possession and possibly win, or the game goes to OT. And, add to the fact that it was Game 6, and the Bulls had a 3-2 series lead means Kerr didn't save MJ at all.

    1) I don’t consider Ray Allen Ron arrest Jason terry or kawhi Leonard role players. Kawhi and artest were full time starters and Allen and terry played almost 30 minutes a game in those finals. Kawhi certainly didn’t “sneak up” on anyone considering he played just as much in 2013 as he did in 2014.
If you want to call some of these guys role players becasue they were primarily bench players, that’s fine. I just think they were more than role players.
    2) Robert horry definitely fits the bill here! So many big shots off the bench. 😂
    3) Steve Kerr and John paxson shots did not save Jordan. All those shots did was prevent a game 7 (paxson) or overtime (Kerr). These two are actually a great example of what a role players is, someone who barely plays and is called upon in specific situations. Not someone who starts every game and/or plays 30+ minutes.
    4) the shot by fisher for the lakers in 2004 was a game 5, not a game 6. Not sure how that saved Kobe/shaq from anything considering they lost the finals anyway.
    5) the play for Kerr did not come from a Jordan drive, it was pippen who drove and passed to grant who passed to paxson.
    6) Ray Allen did not get the rebound before his 3, bosh did.
I get the premise but i think saying some of these guys were role players diminishes them a bit.
The last 3 things I listed are errors that should not have been made. Hard to take any video seriously with errors like those.

Because the one w/ Kerr was a play conceived & assisted by MJ in a tied situation, while the one w/ Paxson showed that all of the Bulls' points in the 4th quarter prior to that last shot were scored by MJ. Plus, both occurred when the Bulls were up 3-2 in the series.
