Thank you for your videos! Especially with rejection sensitivity it‘s really brave to appear publicly with such a personal topic!
I was diagnosed this week and found a way for myself to stay in my workflow (for practicing music). I tend to forget what I was working on, especially over weekends, and notes don‘t help that much to really remember something. So i use a journal app and record short videos of myself explaining what I‘m working on atm. I try to get the excitement across that I feel for this exercise or technique that I developed.
It really helps getting back in the state of mind that I had before the weekend and it makes practicing stuff over a longer period of time possible for me without losing track.
It’s like being my own teacher.

I did a dyslexia test back in 2012 at one of the peculiarities was with my cognitive functions. Above average long term memory and complex problem solving & creativity (building things and figuring physical objects out) solving below average short term memory and basic problem solving and repetitive sequencing….. it was explained to me as having part of my brain functioning at IQ120 supported by the other half functioning at IQ80. 9 years later I’m going through the interview stage with a psychiatrist for ADHD.
Frustration in losing train of thought, forgetting what I’m supposed to be doing and/or getting distracted into other projects or subjects vid the bane of my life atm 🤦‍♂️.
Keep uploading I’m finding your thoughts & reflections informative and very helpful, thank you 🔥🤘😎👍🔥

An important friend has actually made it her role over the years of conversations to keep track of my stories so when I go into no mans land, and get stuck, she’ll bring me right back to the path I diverted from!

Ohhhh dam. We’d be such good mates haha. I honestly can’t explain how much I relate to all this! 😢 I completely completely relate to you and all of what you’re saying, you aren’t alone! I get so annoyed with myself- currently trying to mop up several of my mistakes- failing to properly cancel a gym membership which now I have to pay a load of money in fines for. Failing to properly cancel gas and electric on our old property, I now owe hundreds apparently….I don’t even know if this ones my fault but history tells me it probably is. And the worst one at the moment is that I was certain when I read the DVLA website re. ADHD that I had to let them know I have ADHD. So I did. I honestly read it sooooo many times but it turns out now that I ONLY needed to tell them if my driving is affected, which it’s not, I’ve been driving well for a really long time. So I might well lose my license because somehow I can’t read things properly and miss important details. Urrrrgh, i feel so shitty today and I don’t know how to sort all this crap out 🤕

What frustrates me the most is that one day i may perform extremely well in certain discipline and in the next day i can barely do the basics like in skateboarding or even with videogames it’s embarrassing because one put so much effort into it and then you just can rely on yourself because body won’t respond properly

Neuropsychiatrist just started to investigate on this in me. I went for a visit because of total frustration with working memony being non existant. She thought it is in very high propability ADHD with traits of ASD. These mistake makings and forgetting everything are driving my co-workers nuts at the moment. Oh my what a ditch I found myself in again.

It's tough mate. I have a big diary/ note pad and I write everything down. What I've done and what I plan to do. Without it I couldn't do my job. I've had bad anxiety and panic attacks that have been rough. Meditation is a big help, headspace is a good app. And a good night sleep, may seem obvious ut it helps.

I am so frustrated right and angry because every little noise is bothering me while I am trying to study for an exam with adhd it is hard enough to study and my family keeps making noises all day long and when I got up stairs to take the exam where it should be quite then my dad starts being really loud and taking to my sister and I failed the exam and I was so angry I went downstairs to tell my family that I needed quite and peace while I was studying and taking an exam my parents blew up in my face and just the disrespect and my dad said I was getting him. I tried to explain how my adhd brain works and my mom is mad at me and won’t talk to me just because I said I need some peace then my dad said I he would give me quite after that and what do you know he comes upstairs and makes noise so I am beyond frustrated the little noises are too much while I study it is overloading me
