I just got home from the race a few hours ago. And man it was a site to see, reminded me of the mid 2000's when I first started going to Nascar as a kid. Race itself was fairly boring, but I had a grin on my face the entire time because of the atmosphere and experience. A trade off is that it took waaaay longer to leave the track than the last few years 😅
@Harv3st It was a beautiful crowd indeed. I enjoyed the atmosphere as well. Yes getting out of the stand after the race took us quite a while lol
@@Harv3st it was like this at the race in Texas. Grandstands were packed and took us an hour to get off the grounds after the race
I enjoy just watching the highlights and not watch the whole race, adds time to my day
Glad I didn’t spend an afternoon watching that. Well, I couldn’t anyway since it was on FS1.

The highlights are the only way to watch. They’ve gotten so greedy with commercials and Bowyer is unlistenable.

Still not enough, he needs to keep improving. Again, they did some bad pit stops (especially that one in Stage 3) the speed wasn’t enough, they lost many places in Stage 1 and 2, and they recovered too late. RCR needs to keep improving, this is still bad but well, it’s a step forward I guess

Disappointed that Larson didn't win, I think he needed at least a couple of laps to seal the deal. Congrats to Hamlin, he drove a fantastic race.

heh the dilemma of racing broadcasts nowadays. Image quality and large screens make the cars look very slow (even F1 looks slow), so they need to zoom in to show how fast they are going

Who’s watched the Netflix doc series on NASCAR
Me! Been an F1 fan here in the UK for years, but recently watched the Netflix NASCAR doc and have since watched the highlights of all Cup Series races so far this season.
Me too also in the UK. I've been watching NASCAR for some years as well as F1 and most other motorsports. Also watched the 100 days to indy documentary
Im a new fan and just wanted to share my thoughts. I got into nascar last year and i was hyped and interested but i really think that the playoff system is the dumbest thing on earth. It tooks away the joy of these races and im losing interest already.

NASCAR sucks. I changed to indycar series. Less spoonfed weaklings, much much better commentators, and no ignorant stages. It's just not racing anymore. NASCAR has earned their ratings drop.
This sport needs a Dale, a Jeff, a Tony Stewart. So boring now.
