Good for your daughter keeping it stock height. It’s refreshing to see people keeping these fox bodies stock. Do a video rebuilding the rear when you get to it! I’m in the same boat.

Honestly, I think it’s just right it went to the perfect place and thank God it is finally being driven all these cars that get parked and never used. It’s so terrible for them love this car and the fact that it gets used all well-being cared for those springs will settle as well. Perfect ride height for a daily driver, if it was me, I would put that 7.5 rear on the shelf and put a clean 323 geared 8.8 LSD rear in it then again all the work you just did to the brakes and the fact that she’s not going to beat on the car the 7.5 is more than likely plenty Thoroughly enjoy the videos my friend and got the added bonus of finding the TIP channel through you so thanks for that. I wish I would’ve never sold my fox cars.

TIP is awesome. Actually she has an 8.8 as that was in all the 86 GT's and she's running a 3.27 from the factory.
Wow I had Hanlon motorsports rebuild my T-5 out of my 86' GT to a cobra spec T-5 way back in 1995. Good to hear he's still at it!!

I think so too. I have the original 10 holes as well, but they have the gatorback tires on them.

I like the ride height. It's her daily so it needs to be comfortable. It still looks sporty, sounds good and runs well...all the things a daily should be... especially for a young lady who wants a cool yet reliable car!

It looks better, still needs to be at least an inch lower in my opinion, but that's not what matters. It's your daughter's car, and it's whatever makes her happy! As a father of 3 daughters myself, ages 4, 10 and 17, I can say that I watched her video and that you guys raised an awesome daughter!
I also would prefer lower for my car too, but yeah she seems to like it! Three daughters that's cool man, and nice age spread. Enjoy and thanks for watching.
Love the 86 for eye Contant! I can’t remember, but what video was it where Matt showed how to remove the halo headrest and seatback foam and cover all in one easy swoop?
It doesn't look dramatically lower because the old stuff was so worn out but it's definitely a little lower though. Got all the same stuff sitting in my basement for the last two years but it's definitely going in this season. It's a little too chilly at the moment here in Ohio. Well done, nice job!

@@GearHead704 if you do, I may be at PITS this year with my 83 Dominator Gt, I just picked up a 86 Utah SSP. Still has cats/mufflers and the air silencer still on it.
Mine is lowered and i want it raised back up to normal height, just got longtube headers and they are maybe 3 inches off the ground
Headers always makes it a challenge especially long tubes.
Those look like the SVO rims from the 4cyl turbo. Always liked them

We've still got them actually and with the original gator backs! I just don't want to shell out the cash for new tires for it right now, but they'll probably eventually go on it.

Do report back on how it rides. My 93 is still riding on original springs but has kybs and new rubber parts all around and rides nice for being a 30 year old car.
Slightly better because the original suspension was so shot, but not comfy like stock.

the bigger rims and less amount of tire sidewall definitely exaggerates the space between the fender and rim (4x4 look)
