What is the metal tube located on one of the rods used for?
It’s an emergency repair sleeve if one is the poles gets bent. After it is centered over the bend, you can wedge a stick or use duct tape to hold it in place until you can get back home and order a new tent pole.
Is it possible to easily put on the rainfly first?
Hi there! The Aurora can be fast pitched, so yes.
How a long of aluminum poles?
Depending on the tent size and part of the pole set, between 17-19". If you need detailed specifics, please reach out to us at help@nemoequipment.com!
