With V-series having been discontinued as a main event in upcoming tournaments, the format has become a time capsule with a forever meta, one that I and my good friend David will be breaking down in this in-depth tier list video! I HATE THAT V TREATED KAGERO AS A TRASH TIER CLAN! What a terrible end for the clan in V.

Yeah, and so far, some DE archetypes are better at being Kagero than Kagero of now. You know it sucks when you're forced to use off-themed support to make your rear-guard formation.
@@mystery8820 100% felt that, I oftentimes wonder why bother play Kagero when Narukami just seems to do things better it's wack 😂
I haven't played V Prem in a long time, but yeah Yasuie is realistically the only real deck for that clan in that format.
It DOES however have a somewhat busted thing with Shirayuki combos essentially attacking like at least 7 times with the opponent at -15/20k with plenty of card draw for the early game.
But it can feel fair compared to some of the higher tier decks though lol.
I really wish they would do something to expand this format. In my opinion, adding a limited amount of strides would be fun or even what I think would be hilarious is allowing cross compatible markers. Aka Force 1 and Force 2 as you ride up just for the fun of it LOL. It would give V premium it's own unique take in my view.
To add to your Narukami comment, eradicators are only able to sustain themselves if they have enough hand. With their search and discard skills, your hand will mostly remain the same. That means you'll have to play the long game and save up before spreading your board and saving for defense.
V Tachikaze got fucked over hardcore. The equip gauge was not fully thought out, the very second Angerblader became meta they neutered him. And Gaia, Gaia I put so much effort into Gaia and Gaia was very good with the first clan collections, i was consistently beating black wings but after that they focused on fixing their half assed ancient dragon deck, plus Gaia's debut set basically treated Gaia as an afterthought

@@Dedneyworl it's pretty fun but nothing worth mentioning in the context of the Meta, the only Shadow Paladin decks that have seen results are Luard and Revengers.
V Murakumo did somewhat decent. But yeah, it does run into problems knowing it can't countercharge. That aside, it's usually just one o'those rogue decks. Kept people on their toes against me with Yasuie by the time I played the clan since 2022
@@SuperRvince agreed, Yasuie is pretty much it's sole consolation at this point, a solid deck in the right hands. Plus Hyu-ga was hella meta at one point and Shirayuki got hit. So yeah not too shabby!
@@godsman00 I feel bad though with that statement in Nubatama. I recently got my hands on 3 decks (Hanzo, Magatsu, Daihouzan). It turns out they really love to do that OTK.4 If they don't see that restrictive finisher, they can't guarantee the win. Hanzo can beat my deck, but the problem does lie in reactions not always working

Genovious and Valeos in Aqua Force can also give opponents a run for their money same with Pinot Noir on Granblue the Raptor series on Tachikaze are very underrated IMO
i can also say if reijy's support says bind face down, he will at least be can complete in the format'

I KNOW 😭 My Dragon Empire heart cries with V. But at least against other rogue decks, Kagero is a shit ton of fun to play. Especially Dauntless Reverse

Wait so with v premium becoming discontinued in main tournaments then does that imply that v premium will never get any support ever?
@@Infernoblaster989 seemingly yes, Bushiroad relegated it to being a side event so it's not going to be a supported format. And with time it's likely going to straight up become a retro format. It's pretty sad but tbh Bushi couldn't handle supporting 3 formats adequately so it's for the best that they chose to downsize.
