- A cover of Butterflies by The Cult, after the amazing gigs by Death Cult in 2023, was nice to finally do this track. Bit of an unsung gem from Dreamtime.
I used the brillaint Nigel Preston Drums and Jamie Stewart bass from the Live At The Lyceum version.

One of my favorite albums ever. It sends my mind to a place that does exist, and that is something few records can do. Great playing from you, as always!
Thanks Chris, these tunes still send shivers down my spine
Yaaaaassss ! Crystal . 🏴☠️
Thanks mate

Awesome! This is the one I was waiting for. On another note, I would love if there were Tabs made available for these early Death Cult / Cult tunes to go along with your videos for future reference. It's hard to find decent guitar covers of these songs with this quality for these songs. Appreciate it! Thanks!
Thanks Maxximum, you must have been one of the people who requested it so happy to finally get round to doing it. I don't do tabs unfortunately but hopefully this vid might help you out. The first part is just using a barr shape starting on B (G,B,E strings are all open), then move that shape around, so it goes - B, C, A, B, then E minor ( I play it up the neck but you can use a normal shape), A, Fsharp, G, - then the melodic riffs are quite straightforward if you can work them out by ear and the vid
Nicely done 👍
Thanks mate
Well done as usual. Why they ever strayed from this style of songwriting I'll never understand.
I can see why they went harder rock - bigger market, but the early tunes will always stand out for me
That guitar also doubles as a paddle board??
And a side board, like playing a bit of hefty Ikea furniture
