Can I just say how blessed and thankful we are to be surrounded by such a hard working, loving family!!? Michael and I were completely overjoyed by all the help! Believe me, we need it! 🥰🥰🥰
You guys have the most amazing garden. Practically museum quality....I personally would pay admission to stroll and enjoy for a few hours. You have impeccable taste with your design and layout
Their garden is so grand. Wonderful all of you came together to get the clean up done, and Mom is amazing making sure everyone was fed. 🙂💚 Benjamin is so cute, and too cute with his ABCs and bringing you the camera. Hehe 💙
Lol, my fiance just calls her Laura now too. When we go to a garden center (3 times this week so far!) He'll say, hey... didn't Laura have this tool, plant, etc? ... lol.
That happens at my house too! My husband hears Laura’s voice when I watch on my phone and now asks if I want to watch on the TV instead so that we can both watch together.
OMG Benjamin is so precious it so strange to think we've been watching him since he was a Newborn And now ABC's ❤ Love videos of your parents place 🌿🌸🌿
How sweet to look into the past from here in 2024. Laura and Arron, you family is growing beautifully and now with Samantha, a perfect little sister for Benjamin.❤
I'm 35 and I live in Italy and right now in all the country we are not supposed to go out or meet people because of this virus... We all must stay at home for a month and we can go out only to buy food or medicines... I'd like to garden but I can't go shopping for plants so I just cleaned up a little the garden... I love watching your videos, you keep me company!you inspire me so much!!! Benjamin is sooo cute! 😘😘
Incredible garden, it is always more enjoyable when everyone is on board to complete a goal, I bet at the end of the day, your mom beamed with such pride that her family is an awesome bunch! LOVE OF FAMILY is every woman's life mission and moments like this feels like an accomplishment! Way to go.
I knew I loved your Mom's taste but really had to chuckle when I saw your Dad with the exact same coffee mugs which we have in his hand. Your parents garden is heaven on earth :-)
Boy oh boy does their yard really flush out in the growing season!!! It's so awesome of you guys to help your folks out. Benjamin boy is soooooo cute! Thanks Laura for bringing us along for the fun 😁❣️😍
I'm sorry I forgot to comment about the fountain. Such wonderful sounds all around while you're working. And bless Benjamin's little heart for singing to us the ABC song. They grow up so fast. Thanks again.
What a wonderful gift for your parents that you all pitched in to help. If only my yard could get cleaned up that quickly! 😂 That window box is glorious!!!
It never fails to amaze me how planting containers and window boxes add so much to the overall aesthetic. That being said I’m adding that this was one of my favorite Garden Answer videos because it had it all from gardening to food to family to pets and even cuteness overload by Benjamin.
Wow I loved this!! Seeing your parents garden when it is asleep really helps you see the infrastructure! So encouraging to see that even the most dreamy of gardens is sleepy in the winter and early spring!! Thank you and thanks to your parents for sharing!!
This is the only way to spend spring --- WITH FAMILY IN THE DIRT. Thank you Lord for all the love and beauty ! Windowbox is gorgeous...my favorite yellow ! The most wonderful feeling of "tired" at the end of the day.
So it's the start of week two of Coronavirus lockdown here in Milan, Italy, and you have brightened my day no end. Looking forward to checking out more of your previous videos over the coming week. Pure magic. Thank you.
I’m watching this in 2022 and seeing little Benjamin was so sweeettt. I wanted to cry because of how precious that was. It reminds me of my son who’s now 3.5 yo old almost Benjamin’s age now 😭 they grow up so fast. Thank you for sharing that sweet moment of him singing the ABCs and playing.
What is lovely about your channel is you don’t only show us how to grow healthy gardens but how to grow healthy families. This videos says a lot about the values your parents passed down to you all. Blessings
You are such good kids! Nice that Mom fed you goodies all day! I love their garden, it has an elegant quality to it. Looks like Benjamin will also have wonderful memories in this garden, just like you. What a precious little boy! 🌱🌱🌱🌱🌸
I am always so amazed at the difference between your winter and summer gardens. I am in Southern California and we don’t really have winter. Most of our trees are evergreen so we just see the difference because the flowers are not blooming and the roses are all pruned back. I do love how your plants all come back fresh every year it is like magic!
You are an artist with plant containers..the choices are beautiful! I love how that windowbox turned out! Also, your artistic eye continues to your own personal landscapes and choices/arrangement of shrubs, trees and plants at your home. I see where you got that talent..your parents. Their gardens are spectacular..even at this stage in the late winter/early spring transition. Love your videos, Laura..thank you!
Love watching you. I'm a 72 petite woman who worked in a factory for 39 years and would come home and garden for stress release. Sounds crazy but nothing gave me such peace and still does to this day. I have started cleaning the flower beds and replanting some miss placed shrubs and trees. Anticipating a beautiful year. Thanks so much for sharing all the videos. inspiring for sure.
My 8 year old daughter watch with me and when she saw Benjamin she said omgosh look how big Benjamin is now. Great job on the garden well worth 4 cookies in my opinion. Xx
Its so nice to see, that your family gathers to help out. I hope my kids come around and gather to assist me in the garden when I start to need more help.
I just ❤️ your parents garden!! 🤩 Thanks for taking us along to see it in another season. It’s really made me want to up my winter interest game! 🌲Thanks to Mike & Susan as well!💕
Wow, you sure make all that hard work look real easy. I know its not though, lol...!!!! So nice to see family and friends working together! Thank you for sharing with all of us. Your parents sure do have a lovely garden. ⛲🌲🌸 And those sweet fur babies...😺🐈 Love yours and Benjamin's "abc" song. 🎶 So sweet! Love the fire, the lunch and cookie break. Would your Mom want to share her cookie recipe? Yum! 👍🍪 Hello to you and Aaron and Benjamin, and your sister, brother, Mom and Dad. And Lordy, let's not forget Chris. Such a hard worker! 💪 All of you are...!!!! 👏Everyone having their own unique talent. ❤ Laura, you're such a sweet person. I'm so grateful for all the hard work you guys put into bringing all of your videos to us! It brings a ton of information along with the beauty of having gardens. You guys are a godsend! I'm sending blessings, good energy, and love your way, now and always...!!!! Hope y'all have a good day. I know you'll rest good with all that hard work, lol...!!!! Bye for now...🙋❤✨
I always get a warm glow when I see videos with you and your family. Most family dynamics I know are always varying degrees of dysfunctional! Please tell me it’s not just a social media ploy but that all of you are really best friends. Goals, for sure. As always, thanks so much for sharing.
Window basket is stunning !!!! What a great idea to put the Jap Map in a pot & Add the pretties at the base. I have a baby one. Think I will do that. Duh... Don't know why I didn't think of that. Also have a wisteria I am training into a standard. Might be nice !!!! Love your parents garden so much. Was great to visit there again !!!!
I love seeing the real work that goes into maintaining a beautiful garden. It keeps me calm when we're outside knowing what the end result can be. What a beautiful cat, both of them. ♡
I love at the end where you showed a snip of the late spring vs late winter garden.. Really illustrated the difference in seasons and adore the fountain!
Best garden party ever. Mom and Dad get their garden chore done. You get fed and get to work in your childhood garden while satisfying your gardening itch!😀
Your so very blessed to have a loving family and have them be alive and healthy . Your such a amazing daughter. We love your shows and what you teach us🌺🌷💐🐝 thank you all😘
Hi Laura. Love ❤️Love ❤️ Your mom’s garden! I look forward to seeing you add some type of rock walls to your garden. It will truly give your garden some wonderful interest.
My entire life there was a large Japanese Maple in my parents front yard (or for us kids, the perfect climbing tree) and unfortunately it's been on the way out for a few years now, dying in sections until just about the whole thing was dead. This past fall, my father went out and cut the whole thing down, understandably because it wasn't alive anymore, but it was my mothers favorite tree and she was devastated and even cried. It had been there since before she moved in and she loved it and was very attached. Fortunately, just prior to the death of its final section, it happened to drop seeds in just the right places and a few seedlings grew other places in the garden. My father didn't want them in those places and was going to go over them with the mower. I, very carefully, dug a couple of them up and placed them in a container and hoped and prayed that they would survive the winter (it was fairly late fall at this point). It is now finally starting to turn to spring and by golly those little seedlings survived the winter in that container! They're covered in buds and my mother is so excited to still have a piece of that tree! I have never done anything like that before but I've been watching your videos for a couple of years now and I thank you for the gardening knowledge to allow me to feel confident enough to even attempt the transplant. Thank you!
Family memories - so precious! I have always loved your parent's home & location! So many memories & more to be made! Benjamin is so cute & busy with his trucks & filming! Everything looks so clean & tidy after the clean up, I need to start mine! The window box is gorgeous & full of color!! 😃🌲🌳🌻🌺🌼🌷🌿🌞👨👩👧👦🌿
i love seeing gardens this way. in the winter, you can see the bones of a garden. and i feel seeing it like this is just as important as a vid when everything is in full bloom. one gets a better sense of spacing, flow, etc needed in a garden. thanks for sharing!
It is so nice when family gets together and helps each other out. Your parents garden is a treasure and I love spring in the garden because it is new beginnings and a sample of what is to come. Your Mom is the sweetest person ever and Benjamin is the cutest little boy and you are all so blessed. I just want to thank you for taking everyone on this journey and you have inspired so many people in your love of gardening that it just spills over into our everyday lives. By the way that window box is really beautiful, love that heurchera.
I can see why you love dry stacked walls. They set a beautiful stage for the plantings. Each garden room is a delight. Looking forward to the Spring tour.
God has truly blessed you with the gift of gardening I also have the desire to be in my garden.. I did clean up for spring, I can't wait I'm from Michigan so it's a slow start here but thank God for spring. Love your videos love watching your family seeing Benjamin and all the cats such a joy and wonderful videos God bless you and your family
Hi Laura, Aaron, Benjamin, Monica, Mom, Dad, Joe and Chris! It was awesome watching all of you working together to get most of the cleanup done. I'm sure the folks are very happy with all of the accomplishments. Benjamin did really good with his ABC's! You're Mom is so sweet to make cookies and lunch for all of you! The kitties are so pretty. Thank you for taking us along with you! I absolutely love your parents garden!
Chris, you are a machine man! All of you guys were GREAT! You too Aaron! Benjamin, you are such a vlog stealer! I absolutely love the music by the way. The slow-mo when Laura was planting the window box as well. Great editing dude!
I can't decide which part of this video is my favorite! I love it all! Benjamin is just so squishable!! Thank you so much for sharing your parents gorgeous garden with us! Also thank you so much for sharing your wonderful family! I love every time we get to see/meet them so much! This is so inspirational and makes me so eager to get out there and work! I also love seeing the bones of your parents' garden because we live on a hill and our backyard and side yards or basically just one big slope. This helps me visualize how we can eventually make levels someday. Like I said, love everything about this!
Thank you so much for the work day at your parents. When my daughter was little we used to go to my parents to help with all kinds of things. I love the feel of family. I can feel the love between you and Benjamin has grandparents. So special. No regrets. He is so cute and isn't it fun to teach him. Joyce
Been watching all your great videos but this one has a great impact on me including family generation and resembling family unity on gardening passion. The landscape is so similar to our part of the World. Love and peace from Amman -Jordan
I just love seeing your parent’s garden. It was such a treat to see you grandparent’s garden in a previous video. I’d love to see a tour of both gardens once everything is up and blooming. Is that a possibility?
Your parents place, it's beyond words, the walls are Wonderful. The look on Benjamin's face when the egg was quiet = priceless, and the alphabet song, come on.! I think if you don't have a cat in the garden, the garden isn't really complete. Is Chris someone you've known for a long time.? And lastly, you are going to give us at least a quick tour of your parents garden when the tulips are in bloom, right.!
Usually I watch your Vlog at the beginning of my day or during my lunch break when I am working. I garden in Georgua and we have had the 2nd rainiest February on record and March is rainy so far too, But yesterday and today I spent my day cleaning out part of my back garden and planting 4 azaleas. Thank you Laura and Aaron for your inspiring garden work. You are all blessed to live near your family, and we are all blessed that you share your happiness and good fortune. Benjamin is soo cute and sweet and we love the mischievous and sweet kitty bits too!
How sweet. Many hands do make easy work. Families together is so important and for you and Aaron to be such a great example for Benjamin is special. They have a wonderful garden. Tfs. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Love seeing all of you working together. 😃 I'm totally enjoying all of the early spring flowers you are planting. 🌸 Laura and Aaron your channel has become a wonderful respite from current events. Seeing you working outside surrounded by all the new growth of spring (and kitties too🐈) is soothing for the soul. 🌱☀️🌸
Love how close you all are! Its wonderful to see. Loved when you were recapping the days work and hearing the fountain in the background...it instantly calmed me! There is nothing like the sound of water! Thanks for sharing!
Sweet, smart Benjamin. What a doll he is and what an awesome place he will have to grow up surrounded by love and gardens. OH, how I envy your youth and your energy!
Absolutely love your parent’s garden! The containers you did look so beautiful! This looked like a lot of work, but fun at the same time with all of your family and Chris. Great job! Benjamin singing his ABC’s was the sweetest ever! 🥰 Thanks for taking us along on this one! It’s great to see your parent’s garden this time of year! Such a peaceful and gorgeous space! 🙌💚♥️🌿
You know, now as i age (i'm only a little older than two decades 😅), i realize i prefer these moments to anything else. Just spending time and bonding with the people you love is wonderful 😏 ! I would have no problem if an offer to have a day as this one was gifted to me for my birthday or christmas ! I love gardening, the outdoor, a good fire, good food, good meaningful talks and messing around with siblings. There's not a lot that's better on this earth !
I absolutely loved this video of all videos and of course the one of you guys cleaning up your grandparents home too....This is what family is all about and the fact that it’s all about gardening is magical...Benjamin was the cutest highlight!! You guys are so blessed!!...Helping our parents and grandparents is part of the duty of loving back...it’s precious❤️...Thank you so much for inspiring us all and showing us all that even if we don’t have family such as yours, we can all find someone who would appreciate the compassion of helping around the home, especially for the elderly or single parents without the time or motivation to get outside and tidy up the fall/winter debris...Help give a fresh start to Spring...Give garden kindness, it’s priceless💚💚💚
My 🌺sisters and I,we always would go home and do the same at my parents home. Its so great to be able to help out and give pleasure to them by helping out!
Oh Aaron, outstanding editing! So fun to watch & the music was grand! You all working together, what a mission! So fun to watch! Bravo! And the icing on the cake is watching Benjamin and the ABC’s, melts my heart💕
What a good job you all did!! I'm exhausted just watching. I had such a horrible day at work , after watching your loving family, I realized that is all that matters. FAMILY 💕 You are so lucky to have a family that love each other the way yours does, Laura. Thank you for such a wonderful video. Looking forward to tomorrow.😊
Informative as always. I never knew what a Primrose looked like, they aren't grown in my area (8b) and they're so pretty! My siblings and I do this at my parents house as well, work on the yard so they don't have to. 💙
Really?!?!? Where do you live? I'm from Eugene, Oregon - also Zone 8b - we have them every Spring. I remember seeing them in stores, buying & planting them for our yard, or watching them come up year after year again in our yard since, well forever (I'll be turning 50 this year). I know they were always a staple in my Partent's & Grandparent's yards too as kids.🤷♀️
@@Bamboo4U2 no...not where I live anyway🤷♀️ They are a tender perennial that usually come back every year. But they don't reseed themselves or naturaulize by spreading roots.
@@TheJennBrown wow! Shocking we are in same zones.😅 Maybe as you are in more of a tropical climate is why you don't see them there. The area of Oregon I live in is much different than Laura's. She is in what is considered high desert. We are in the Willamette Valley nestled between the Coastal Range & the Cascade Mountains. Being on the west side of the state we are definitely much more wetter (only an hour from the coast/Pacific Ocean). We usually have pretty mild temps year round (w/ the exceptions of a few days of extreme heat in Summer & not much in below freezing temps). I guess our ecosystem is comparable to that of Southern England (if that means anything to anyone - as I've never been!😏)
Can I just say how blessed and thankful we are to be surrounded by such a hard working, loving family!!? Michael and I were completely overjoyed by all the help! Believe me, we need it! 🥰🥰🥰
You are! I love your garden, Susan! It is so pleasant and peaceful.
Ma'am your garden is beyond gorgeous. !! You and your daughter are my biggest garden inspirations! .
You raised them right. 👍🏻 Thank you for sharing your beautiful gardens with us.
Always enjoy seeing your beautiful garden & family Susan.
Hehe 💙
Gonna have to rewatch this one; I melted into a complete puddle of mush at the adorableness of the ABCs and missed the rest of the video......
When I start my sentence with “Laura said...” my husband doesn’t ask anymore ” who is Laura “? You’ve become a part of our family. Gardening rocks!
Lol, my fiance just calls her Laura now too. When we go to a garden center (3 times this week so far!) He'll say, hey... didn't Laura have this tool, plant, etc? ... lol.
My husband calls her my girl as in "are you watching your girl again?" . Lol.😊
That happens at my house too! My husband hears Laura’s voice when I watch on my phone and now asks if I want to watch on the TV instead so that we can both watch together.
Same!
Same here.
OMG Benjamin is so precious it so strange to think we've been watching him since he was a Newborn And now ABC's ❤

I was thinking the same thing like dang Chris is really working. Not that they all weren't.

Joyce
Look at her Shove all those plants in there!!! 😂😂😂🥰🥰🥰💯💯Love it!
BEAUTIFUL kitty!!!
For those of us who are grandparents but don’t get to see them very often, Benjamin and the abc’s was certainly a heart-ripper. 🥰😍❤️😍🥰
There are now words to explain how much I love all this family time together just laughing and working together.
I love how the window box and other planters turned out with what you put in them, just beautiful!
Just melts my heart to see family being so helpful like this! God bless you Laura and family! Benjamin is so adorable!
I love flowerbed cleanup! Thanks for sharing with us, including Benjamin's song (so precious!)
Tfs. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
I know it was a full day's work for you but I love to watch it all get done in fast mode. So nice of you to help your parents. Beautiful gardens.
Chris has my dream job! To work in a garden all day but to be working side by side with Laura is the icing on that cake! I'm so jelly!!
It’s so precious that you work together as a family. 💜
I had a few happy tears during that alphabet. So incredibly precious.
So sweet hearing Benjamin sing his ABC's. So happy to see a family working and enjoying being together. Beautiful ❤️💐
Laura the cat whisperer!😂😍😘🐱😸
Love your parents yard! So envious of all those Hellebores!🌸
Out of all the types of videos you make, the ones like this are my favorite. Your family is the best! Especially Benjamin
My 🌺sisters and I,we always would go home and do the same at my parents home. Its so great to be able to help out and give pleasure to them by helping out!
Such a satisfying video...won't mind watching without edit. Love you family and Chris.
YES YES YES...A MILLION TIMES YES to this type of video!!! ❤
Aren't primrose invasive?
@@ramibu239 I'm in Northwest Florida, in the Panhandle. Ten minutes from the Gulf of Mexico.
