Another great looking project, thanks Caitlin. Teak looks like it is a nice lumber to work with. I love how you can manage to use what you have for these builds.
I liked working with the team, it’s a very nice lumber. I did not like working with it in the sense that I had a very limited amount and there were no room for mistakes.
Your narration is just perfectly pitched - even if you dislike recording it - so thank you. I love seeing your thought process as it really helps in my own work with reclaimed or donated pieces; solving problems is half the fun.
I know it’s a lot of work but it really is nice to see such a great cabinet/chest of drawers repurposed in this way it’s truly getting a second life 👌👌👌👍👍👍🇦🇺
The piece was nice before but I love the dividers, inset everything… a classier look that’ll never get old or out of date. You did amazing getting your scrap lumber to serve a new purpose. For me it’s always a joy to watch your content and level of expertise. You and 3x3 Tamar have been my favorite ladies in the shop for a long time
Great work as always, so much goes into changing the purpose of furniture so many things you have to take into account and with all that still trying to reuse limited wood to match, it really is a labour of love, Have a great weekend 😁
Tricky build. Well done. Looking forward to seeing the end result. Will you be repairing the cutup drawer? Looks like it was to accommodate plumbing at one time. I'd like to see how you do that.
Good Morning H. B. Loved the opening shot of this Linen Closet. My opinion is how amazing that diamond glass top goes so well with a modern style bottom. The overall proportion’s looks great. When the building is completed are you looking at an Oil finish ? Enjoyed the Video. Have yourself a great day!!!
I’m thinking Teak turns a kinda gray color as it’s ages. But that may actually look pretty nice , especially with that Diamond pattern on top working as a ascent. But when finished I know it’s going to look great.

You certainly have it down to an art form.

Agreed. If there’s no problem solving I get bored pretty easily.
Such a small change in structure made a big change in style. I will be looking at old furniture differently going forward!
It’s crazy right?
@ it is indeed

Agreed. I wish more people wanted work like this, instead of just throwing stuff out.
Gorgeous work as always girl! Keep rocking it. I am curious about this rabbeting drit is this special order? Lol have a wonderful weekend
Good morning 🌅, Honey B , very nice work, recycling something always takes a long time, well done, 👍🏻, 💔 from France.
Thanks!
Always love seeing the amount of use you get out of the old RAS- I was just about to throw mine out, but now re-considering!
Second most used tool in my shop.
As always, this item will look amazing when completed.

Thanks! You have a great weekend too.
As always, your attention to detail and quality makes that an excellent piece of furniture! Enjoy your day!
Thanks. Enjoy your day too!
Fast becoming a favorite channel of mine! Also, glad I'm not the only one repurposing those yogurt jars.
Right? They are perfect mixing jars. I make everyone I know save them for me.
It is always such a pleasure to watch you work on furniture, thank you.
Thanks!
I'm very impressed how you work with old furniture. Looks great !!! Nice work❤
Thanks. I really enjoy this type of work too. So much better then just throwing it out.
Love the thumbnail and its caption. 😄
Thanks HoneyBadger! 😀❤️
Thank you for sharing, great narration, always having to be careful using used furniture, excellent work 👍
Thanks
Interesting to see the problem solving on this project. I am currently in the middle of building a very similar piece for our master closet.
Nice!
Amazing work! Using up leftovers means very little wasted material. Great job 👏🏻
Thanks
Ms, Badger getting work done
Hahahaha

She didn’t ask me to, but I do end up fixing the drawers.

She doesn’t want a finish on it.

Why does the top drawer have cut outs. Almost looks like cutouts for plumbing
Was wondering the same...
They were using the two dressers in the bathroom as vanities. They decided to repurpose them for the remodel.
Caitlyn, have you ever encountered a type of wood that caused irritation for you?
Fingers crossed not yet.
