Have to give it to the Lords of the Fallen Devs. They saw what many people do with the FromSoft games and decided to just make it an official part of the game, instead of a 3rd Party Tool.
More devs should add this to their games instead of pissing on modders. Don't want people making illegal mods ? Give them what they want.
Yeah, randos are *super* popular, it's an absolute no-brainer to make them a first class citizen rather than something that has to be hacked on by third parties.

@@jaunzftwThere's no chance bingo will be added as an official mode. It's way too niche for them to bother. Randomiser? I think a lot more people would use that if they added it
@@echo.1209 True that. Some sort of online PvE race mechanic in Fromsoft games would be cool untapped online content though. I'd love something like eg. a boss rush race of 3 random bosses with 3 random weapons against your opponent in real time.

Say what you want about the game, but this is one of the coolest updates for a game ever
it was/is very rough around the edges. I was very disappointed when the game first came out. I should give it another shot though.
I was just about to try this game again and this is incredibly cool and has my full interest

Yes it's an official update that adds a bunch of toggleable modifiers to fresh playthroughs, should be available on all platforms.
I clicked the toggle, but i didn't get the menu to use the modifiers, on ps5?@@Zokari771

After just putting in almost 300 hours into this to Platinum it, a month later they release the coolest fucking patch to cap off all the free content and updates they’ve been doing for months now. The games in a much better spot and personally earned my heart for my fav souls like. It just scratched that oldschool DS feel that my monkey brain apparently wanted

@@Ghostahbecause fromsoft has unparalleled focus in their development honestly, can’t fault em when they know they have a huge community willing and excited to mod for their games. Hear ya tho it’s pretty cool
If only they would make worthy paid dlc, I would buy it. They need to learn from their mistakes for the next game.
But no bosses...
I don't think random bosses would fit in this game as they are pretty lackluster anyway.
We need more lies of p challenges
The game felt like it had a randomiser applied when it first came out.
The initial idea of adding modifiers that usually get modded into is cool but the execution is terrible. Only Enemy types get randomizied, no bosses rando, it doesnt actually use every enemy for the randomness (Fire Axe boys being there 3 times in separate runs), u keep all ur equipment in Ironman for some reason, starting classes arent random, umbral enemies are seemingly not randomizied. Also jesus the performance still seemingly sucks hard even thou its not even spawning crazy stuff like in a real rando.
for now the item randomizer seems to be the only one that pretty good
aside from me wishing they'd keep the estus shards equivalents in this game fixed even in item randomizer
The enemies don’t even feel random either for my whole run through I’ve just been getting spammed with these holy spear sword enemies and that’s it, no one random at all it feels like they just have different versions of the game with different enemy spawns and the “randomness” is which one of the those versions you get not random every time, kinda sad
The game simply doesn't have enough unique enemies for the randomiser to be good.
Yep, these devs are by far the worst besides Ubisoft at making medicore games.
The support this game gets is insane, they literally don't need to do anything.

Something about this game just seems off. The controls look really fast but not in a good way. Kinda floaty and the weapons hit like wiffle bats. Maybe it gets better but I doubt it.
The roll/attacks also look floaty if that makes sense? Which makes it kinda frustrating when an enemy attacks and they move three miles immediately to attack you which I think is annoying
@@schojdfjf6495 agreed. When this game came out I chose to buy Lies of P instead and I don't regret that decision one bit. Only way I'll play LOTF is on a deep deep sale.

I like the game but i dont like the developers as a preorder player i feel like bought some unfinished game and the experience is worse than if i would buy and start now :P

somehow the randomizer excluding bosses took all my interest away from this.
Some of the bosses are kind of broken as is and very closely coupled to their arenas. There's just no (non-terrible) way to make them work randomized I think
Randomised bosses in Elden Ring barely works. That's the unfortunate thing about official things like randomisers - devs try and still make it seamless, so anything janky must go.
The update is cool, but the game is still very mid overall.
