The second that Bass kicks in you know.......you know instantly it's Tool!!! In a world filled with Music, they stand unique, they sound like no one, and no one sounds like them.....that's quite a feat
Nightwish and Tool are my favourite rabbit holes in music, great you are reacting to both now. Tool has been a band that I have been obsessed with for decades. This is an awesome track!
Also, Tool is heavily influenced by King Crimson. Tool asked the producer David Bottrill (who produced a couple of king's albums), to produce Aenima and Lateralus
When you're done with Fear Innoculum maybe you can go back to The Warning and their second full length album Queen of the Murder Scene, which is a rock opera (or novella as some have described it). You've already done the first song, Dust to Dust. The next one would be Crimson Queen. Since the girls were unsigned at the time, any source material you use will not be blocked as the girls own it all and like reactors to play their songs. I personally like their presentation of the entire album at their Lunario concert. Others like the Foro Didi concert which does have all the songs but if I recall are out of order. Lunario is properly in album order, which is important for the story. Do some research so you can fully appreciate the effort they put into their creation. In the meantime looking forward to Tempest (7empest if you will), my favorite from FI after this one.

Just fyi, C.C.T. is just drum track...still very good though

He's done it in the last to concerts I've seen as a break for the others I guess.
