I bought it a long time ago I can’t find the link, if you look up “Hawks” 82-92 camaro harness bar it should pop up. I’m not sure if they still make or sell them
I’m asking cause I’m doing a vortec 1998 swap on my 84 cutlass and I wanted to go eletric water pump how’s it holding up for you and what did u do for the bypass drill some holes in ur t stat?
The pump did great no issues no leaks and I used a Water restrictor instead of a thermostat, I had nothing but issues with all kinds of different thermostats so I just used restrictors that oval/dirt cars would run
I’d Recommend restrictor if you have a engine that’s built for performance, I Used the restrictor because my motor did not like any Thermostat I tryed, you’ll wanna buy the pack of restrictors that has multiple restrictor sizes. If you have an hot rod that goes on longer drives I’d lean more towards the a thermostat 🤘🏼🤘🏼
with an electric water pump no thermostat should be used try that first i have had the best results this way. control the temperature with the pump. depending how your driving it. the pump is worthless when the thermostat is closed the pump needs to be meant for street use. gallons per hour drag pump will not work well. nice video
Over heated never would cool or hold a safe temperature, temp always climbed, went to plate instead and the car ran about 180-195 with the plate and always ran 210-225 with all different temperature Thermostats.
@@transamstrickstricklin2887 it’s a Water outlet Restrictor that takes the place of a thermostat, I got them from speedway motors there are about $3-4. Part #916405, they have 1/2, 5/8, 3/4 etc ones to chose from
Dude, you are dumping toxic radiator fluid into the public water drainage system which dumps into one of your 10K lakes. Re-use the fluid or take it to a proper hazardous material waste site. 😡
Me as a car lover, I had to add you. Great job man
Thank you!
Subscribed! Love the car!
What kind of radiator hose is that, where can I get one?
Flexible Radiator hose, got it off amazon
Ngl she sounds goooood😂😂 when pulled her in the garage
Can you send me a link for that piece in the back that you’re seatbelts boat two that goes across look like it goes from wheel wheel to wheel wheel

Y'all pray for that #1 plug wire. 1 Like = 1 prayer.
#1 plug wire never burnt one time for the entirety of this setup
If the sbc350 is all stock can the electric water pump still working as should?
If wired correctly yes

I noticed you have a restrictor in the thermostat housing. Would you recommend this for a hotrod weekend driver or just race application. Cheers

We just cut the center out of the thermostat for the circle track cars works perfect , your not gonna drive in winter time so don’t need a thermostat
Did those plugs stay in ? Going through the same Dilemma. to tap or not to tap
Plug stayed in and I had no leaks or weeping from the plug
@@one3racing sick, thank you!
Take some sand paper on the inside of the V on the pully where the belt fits in 'and ruff it up some
If I have an electric water pump do I need to go buy an electric fan ?
Yes
What did u do to bypass the 3rd coolant hole on ur l31 block
The Water pump came with a Bypass plug that I used and tapped it in to the block

Nice! looks like your crank pulley and your water pump are 1:1.🤔 did you have over heating issues?
Had no overheating issues even on a 380mile drive through Texas 98° day
Is that a GPS speedometer if so what kind?
I don’t use a speedometer
What year is your Camargo and is a 350 motor
1989 and yes
@One3 Racing thanks my is 87 so I think will used the electric one, how it been working
It worked really well, I no longer have it but I liked it, it made a huge difference for me
What alternator bracket do you have
CVF
You mentioned that you haven't had luck with thermostat. What issues does your car give when running thermostat?
Over heated never would cool or hold a safe temperature, temp always climbed, went to plate instead and the car ran about 180-195 with the plate and always ran 210-225 with all different temperature Thermostats.
Haveing overheating issues what do mean by a plate

Ship it to my house and you got a deal. 😅
Sorry I refuse to ship to Jeep owners
@@one3racing I didn't want it anyways. 💁♀️
@@Janaya173 that’s fine, jeep people are typically afraid of real engines anyway 😘
@@one3racing uh your car wasn't even running when I was there 4 days ago.
Yes but that wasn’t the engines fault, it’s the guy who built it Whos at fault for that
