Hi there just watched your video, in the middle of the camshaft there’s four bolts with a small bracket that hold down the cam shaft. Do you know what the torque settings are? I can’t find them anywhere. I’m rebuilding an engine at home really appreciate your help.
Thanks video very informative. But I need help now engine check light code poo16 camshaft crankshaft coalition . I have replaced timing chain and both cam gears and tensioner, all genuine parts. Have set it up as per your diagram using cam locks etc but check code clears , road all good, turn engine off , restart same code comes up. Can you help, I’ve heard the m274 is not TDC but 20 deg before TDC when setting the chain up ? 2014 WDD2122342B016713. Motor 2.0 lt turbo M274920300182763. Model code21223422-Au1 . Appreciate any advice please. Allan
More then likely the intake camshaft reluctor wheel is off which means you need a new camshaft. take off the cam-position sensors and look at the marks when you place tdc/ot on the dampener exhaust cam should be in the middle and intake cam has point in the middle if both are not there you need to change it
Thank you for this video, it really helps.
Its really hard to find the proper video.
