When they test some of these combs/brushes and such, I think that they test them by a hairstylist using them on other people instead of a person using them on their own hair. It probably works very well for someone using it on another person's head. They need to test properly, because we need the products to work like the say that they will.
Very much agree, if they aren't testing that way then they need to start! So hard to get certain angles when detangling for some people, so they should try to test on as many people as they can to get a wide testing base for hair tools. Thanks for watching!
Hi Ash…great comparison review. 👍🏽 I have the Kazmalaje detangler brush and the Pattern Beauty detangling comb. I also have a shower detangler comb from Sally’s…the first 2,are my go to…awesome tools. But I must say that regardless of the tool, I have to detangle my hair by gently starting from the ENDS and work my way upwards. That’s how I avoid the traffic jam of tangles had I started from the top and combed downward. I also have a new conditioner love that gives me tons of slip…it’s Texture ID in the yellow package (Sweet Amond & Yogurt)…got it from Sally’s. When I finish that I’m going to try Nexxus Humectress conditioner, I saw a recommendation that it too has excellent slip.
hi ashkin 🤗 dont sleep on your old hair tools 😅 glad you found a couple that work for your hair. ive always used some type of comb or brush to detangle and smooth my strands. in recent years ive finger-detangled more ... but almost always finish with tools. yes - joico is one of my supreme og hair brands (way before the early 2000s). tfs
Sis, I swear by the Goody vented paddle brush. I've got a few of them in the package still. I could ship it to a PO box if you want to try one. It's like the unbrush but slightly firmer. I have the unbrush too but it's not my first pick. I might get some hate for this... But I had some major webbing going on to the point I was ripping my hair out. Nothing was getting thru my hair. I tried another influencers suggestion about silicon mix treatment with argan oil. I know, I know, I know. But she was right. Those silicones melted the webs, tangles, and knots out of my hair after five minutes of sitting. Aussie, African pride pre poo, nothing worked for me like Argan Oil Silicon Mix
I don't have the patience for finger detangling! Lol My hair luckily isn't as tangle prone as when I was younger and didn't know the best way to try to detangle my hair. Thank goodness things have come a long way in terms of curly hair tools and products. I've always been a wide tooth comb girlie so I love the Wet brush comb for detangling as it gets right to the scalp and gets all the shed hair. I love the Tangle Teezer for brush styling and deep conditioning
Thank you Chrissy! I think I may be honing in on some good tool options finally, I have my eye on another for Black Friday and then I'm ending my search fingers crossed : )
Great vid Ash mamaz!!😍 I love my EZ Detangler brush. Its an absolute dream for super thick hair. I still have my Denman brush. But seems like i lose more hair with it.👎🏾 Havent used it in ages.
I’m so sorry to hear that. I hope your hair is doing much better now 💛 I had horrible damage from a brush a few years ago so I understand. I’ve been having good luck with an UNBrush dupe recently, so maybe check those out if you haven’t. I’ve found it to be pretty gentle😄 Thanks for watching.
Actually detangling all the way to my scalp *for the win* lol
Thanks for watching!☀️

Comb comb time!
Gonna use the black comb on Bean’s hair when he gets older since it’s gentle 💛
Love love Kazmalaje brush and comb. Especially the brush. I'm curious about your experience
I remember a couple of years ago when we were talking about you trying them for the first time! So happy you're still loving them : )

Hey nice comparison ❤
Hi Shante! Thanks lady 💛🌻
I’m back to doing more fiber detangling. Had a lot of damage so I cut a couple inches off. My hair needs some babying
I’ve had my Sageman since 2012…still my favorite tool.
So durable and such good quality - glad to hear yours is still going strong too : )
Thanks for watching Tonia!

I live by the unbrush - bought a 2nd one for detangling.
Ooo I’m so happy it works awesome for you - it’s been calling me lol. Thanks for watching ☀️
Bought my first Unbrush and love it. I’m not sure if I bought the original or the one they just came out with.
tangle teezer ruined my hair I hope this works

Part your hair into smaller sections.
@@SomeOne-yv8jf I’ve tried that since this video and it doesn’t make much difference as far as tangles and ease of detangling for me.
