I just bought one of these, and it's an EXCELLENT bike. This is the last year that Kawasaki built this bike with the 600cc engine before moving back up to the 636cc. Even with the smaller displacement, this bike is super hot, light and just a pure middleweight screamer. Love it in red too.
I love watching your videos! you explain everything in detail and give a great walk around and description of many kawasaki bikes! although i live in Australia, i would definitely buy from you if i lived in your area in the US! Thanks a lot! :)
I've got this bike all in black in the uk and it is truly amazing, had a 2005 ducati 999s before hand and I'm genuinely enjoying this little kawi more than all my other bikes I've had! top buy
Yes, this bike is made in Japan. Kawasaki does build some models in Thailand like the Ninja 650, Ninja 250, Versys, KLR650. The ZX6R and ZX10R are still built in Japan. Kawasaki also builds some bikes, JetSki's, Teryx's and Mules right here in the USA in Lincoln Nebraska.
Well, I am a Kawasaki dealer so I am partial to the ZX6R of course. While Yamaha builds great bikes as do all of the Japanese companies. I truly believe that the ZX6R is the best 600cc supersport on the market today. Thanks, for the question.
The ZX6R will go faster than most people (including my self) can handle on or off the track. The ZX10R is a handfull for anyone to drive fast. I own a 2011 ZX10R and ride a 600 on the track. If you push a 600 or 1000 to the edge it will sooner or later catch up with you. Thanks for sharing your opinion!
even though these videos are old i absolutely love watching your vehicles, alot of passion and professionalism goes into the videos. with how much knowledge you give to the viewer it definitely is a great selling point. if i lived closer i would have probably purchased quite a few bikes from you by now. keep up the great work!p.s i own a 07 zx6r kawi green TEAM GREEN!
hi sorry for late reply, if your restriction period is up on your licence then yeah defiantly, if you still have to ride restricted ( 33bhp ) then id consider waiting till its up if not its more money to restrict the bike etc. I can guarantee you will love the kawi if you do get one
You can get a zx6r for your first bike when I got my first bike it was a Ninja 250r and by the first month I was bored with it its better if you start of with a 600cc bike i jumped to a 2008 gsxr 750 and i love every bit of it i hope this kinda anwsers your questions you are always wanna go bigger trust me
I believe there is a law in the UK that says as a new rider, you must ride a bike with 33 horsepower or less for the first 2 years. They even make electronically limited GSX-R600s that only produce 33hp.
Every rider is different. We would never recomend this bike for a first time rider. To do so, would be irresponsibile. Yes, you can move up very quickly. We recomend that all riders get training, wear protective gear and ride defensivly. Thanks.
@pickupgrey It depends in how fast you want to go. I prefer 600 because of how high the rev and cornering capabilities. But it a straight line def 1000
Yes, we do allow test drives, if you have a valid MC license, are an experienced rider and are a qualified buyer. We also have the new 2013 636 ZX6R available for test drives. Give me a call if you have any questions. Albert at 409-948-4969. Thanks.

Beautiful bike.. but does the 2013 come in passion red?
That is how Kawasaki desighed them. Thanks for watching!
What is your opinion on 2012 Yamaha R6 compared to the ZX6r?
Great Bike.. Albert is a good Guy!!
There is no law to stop you from buying a ZX6R as your first bike. Thanks
How about the z1000 and ninja 1000? Are they built in Japan also?
Thanks!

are the area around the steering/handlebars painted in matte?
cuz when i compare it to other 600ccs e.g. r6 or 600rr, the color is less vibrant
