Planet Coaster - Jägerhorn

- Jägerhorn Mountain Train is a detailed mine train coaster, inspired by model train sets and classic Disney rides but with a temperate alpine twist, surrounded by Swiss chalet-style architecture and scenery. Enjoy this onride POV and cinematic video of Jägerhorn and its surrounding realistic park setting - wait, am I making it too obvious that I'm just trying to appeal to RUclips's algorithmic search engine mechanics?
In all honesty, Jägerhorn has been a nearly 2+ year running passion project of mine, and I'm so glad finish it at last, and release this cinematic video of it as some sort of a farewell, I suppose. If you've been here since the start - thanks for watching this series. I'm sorry it took so long. If you want to check out the park for yourself, you can find it on the Workshop here:
steamcommunity...
...More is coming, I still want to make a final episode for this series in which I go over some of the last things I made, and the park in general. It might be a video or a livestream - we'll see.

2 years in the making and every second of it was worth it.
Easily the worst thing about this project is that it isn't real.
And that it's done😢
just wait, some day, your dreams might come true
PlanCos OnCameraMode applies for first place imo.
After the break run you can see how far camera moves with curves. I think for this ride this worsens the experience.
I mean, the fact that the brakes and drive tires are different widths definitely is the worst thing about it.
I think it is real. Prob from some obscure park in Europe. No way anyone can create something this amazing from Planet Coaster.
LOL
I can't even begin to imagine the ungodly amount of patience this build must have taken. Definitely paid off, one of the best PC creations I've ever seen!
Thank you mate! :)
So, Matt, it certainly is weird to find you here...
Wow, this is weard in my opinion, 2 of my favorite RUclipsrs in the same comment?!??
I'd say do a collab? Mabe like a double series of silv making a coaster with a kerbal space program theme and Matt making a theme park in space or something allong those lines.
Now that would be AMAZING!!!!
@@Silvarret i think Witherspoon the ä your from sweden in Word jägar-hornet.
The most realistic, detailed and well-thought ride in Planet Coaster
Not really, he just has ultra settings and music to trick your brain
Even TL I've been whatching planet coaster content since it was announced in 2016. I dont think this is the best coaster because the music and settings (:
Justin Case last video i posted was 3 years ago, but ok. I really dont give a shit about how much work he has put into the channel. I was saying that the ride wasnt great, i played since release so i know what im talking about.
Goldenmedia clearly not dude, there is no story behind this, just a bunch of rocks and green. How can this be the most well thought out coaster in the entire game history?! There is also no detail at all, a few buildings and trees. And the realism comes from the graphics
@@evengreven5515 tbh was okay for around the mountain trip. Placement of scenery was well done however coaster was abit meh .
This is now my favorite ride I've seen in Planet Coaster, I'm so amazed. So much thoughtful detail is seen everywhere. In the video editing itself, the *track design*, the style, the scenery, the music, just everything. Don't you just love how the ride is in two movements? Each having their own big chain lift, and even meeting up with each other after that first drop?! Agreeing with Marinary, this needs to be real 😁
Such good execution, and very smooth ride. This makes me feel like you should do a final movement. Recreate this whole aesthetic except in a fuax Swiss Alps setting, and make it a faster "runaway train" styled ride, or something, with crazy vistas the whole way down!
Thank you so much! I just have to say, I love that you analyzed the coaster like a musical movement (sorry, I know it's cliché, but have to put it out there - your piano covers are amazing and right up my alley!). In a similar way, I think themed and detailed roller coasters can tell as story just as musical movements, I love to comparison. I don't think I'll make a final movement for this one though - considering how many hours I labored on the details here, it'd be hard to live up to it. Perhaps when a Planet Coaster 2 comes out!
@@Silvarret I figured as much! My idea is far fetched, and a guy like you would spend 2 years on it LOL !!! You're work is great man, we watch it all the time.
Check out Efteling for a irl Dutch themed park
As I rode I had a flood of memories in my mind of the actual build: "Hey I remember when he built that and added the other and put all those stairs there."
I keep coming back to this masterpiece every once in a while.
This is a ride, disney would build. You've really got their style right on how they make minetrains. Altough it has a swiss style it still very much feels like a seven dwarfs mine train or big thunder mountain or even big grizzly mountain inspired ride, atleast layout wise. I've been here from the start and it was an amazing project indeed. Hope to see you continue with awesome projects.
Honestly it reminded me of all three and I'd even include Expedition Everest into the mix as well. He really did a great job.
And also the German words are written correctly xd not like Bush Gardens does
I mean disney literally uses german/ swiss german themeing and stories all the time. They used to have a swiss family tree house at disneyland. They were created and run by nazis. Why would this be different? Disneys last name means ISIS i doubt hed have a problem with this. Hes descended from 5th column swiss nazis
I kind of recognised Belle's village part in it, especially the architecture
Silv man. Perfect coaster, perfect cinematic. You’ve outdone yourself - again.
He'll always out do him self.
I dislike the onride camera of planco. The offset in cruves is cruel. Kind of destroys the experience for this coaster.
But yeah nothing anybody but frontier can do about. And they did it because community wanted smoother POV
This looks great
Damn boi, what a beautiful presentation to end this stunning project, I said this before and I mean it - this is probably my favorite Planet Coaster project out there at the moment.
Thank you Bear, it means a lot to me! I've done my work finishing Jägerhorn, now you just need to finish Taliko.
Silvarret this is beautiful, you should email Disney and ask them to build this...
@@sebdapleb1523 exelent idee
Freethebear you should watch attacking toucans series where he created the ultimate theme park.
2 years later and it's still my favorite coaster in Planet Coaster, and I watch a lot of them every week... I keep coming back to it. Such a fantastic work !
it has been 2 years?! ever since the beginning, this has been one of my favourite projects to watch. being from southern germany myself, it's amazing to see something being built which reminds me so much of home. absolutely stunning work, beautiful buildings and scenery. and i just wanna ride that coaster :)
The way you get a quick glimpse of the other train on the second big drop is just the best!
2019 - where the biggest projects of you end
2020: I'm about to end this year's whole career
This is easily one of the most satisfying things I've ever seen built in planet coaster
I saw this park randomly on RUclips when i was playing Planet Coaster.
I was searching a little bit after an person who is building my country in planet Coaster. Now I watch every new video, when you are uploading once.
I LOVE THIS PARK
(I am living in Germany 😉)
Same here😀
You know what I find most amazing? You made this incredible coaster work with barely any elevated tracks. This is exemplary use of including terrain shaping into the coaster's design! I wish I had only just a fraction of your creativity and technical ability to use PC's editor tools. :D
Holy shit 2 years ago I was watching the first episode I distinctly remember I was in bed and it was like 4 in the morning. Good job on finishing it.
You'd almost wish you could live there, if not for the insanity of having a rollercoaster in your backyard, and swarms of tourists. Very nice job, as per usual, as we come to expect from your builds. One wonders what Planet Zoo will have in store for us to marvel at when you get your time in.
I absolutely can't wait to see what he creates in Planet Zoo!
every little leaf and every little stone are just where they're supposed to be. such a masterpiece! loved every pixel of this park and every second of this movie.
Easily the best creation in Planet Coaster I've ever seen.
Glad to see a ride has been built in memory of Pewdiepie's horses Jurgen. Truly a wonder of this world
I can't put in words how much this build amazes me! If I had a theme park with an alpine area, this is the coster I'd put in it. It seems so perfect!
I've been waiting to ride that coaster for soo long. My favourite series of your channel, I love it!
By the gods , you're a talent to behold. Best in the bussiness
When you started this project, I remember thinking "Damn this is gonna be a good one"...
And damn was this a good one!!! Excellent work as always Silvarret
vegetableFudge This project was outstanding, i also remember watching the first episode not knowing what would turn out of it and as Silvarret, his legendary self, he makes this project turn into a masterpiece that will be remembered forever
I love that you're making roller coasters that even people who don't like them would love.
You're amazing
This was killer, dude! Couldn't be more impressed by how it turned out. I've had so much fun watching you build this. Can't wait to see what's next!
More impressive than the actual coaster is how much detail the scenery has, perfect down to the pebble.
This is simply the best thought out, best designed and best constructed coaster with the best scenery to have appeared in Planet Coaster... Ever! Truly remarkable.
OMG IT'S HERE I AM CRYING 😭👏 this coaster is truly awesome, I loved so much this serie. Keep up the amazing work!
i wish i could be just as creative as you. My favourite series btw.
The silhouette shot starting at 6:32 is so beautiful! And I also really love the interaction between the two mine cart trains at different points throughout the ride; the timing's really spot on!
What a wonderful series to watch get completed and worth all of the videos. It's still boggles my mind of how much detail and love you've put into this project and I loved every bit of it!
My god I just got so relaxed watching this, thank you
ITS FINISHED, amazing job silv so beautiful, the scenery it’s just ughh so good. HEY FAVORITE RUclipsR !!!
It's finally here! Silv, this series on Jagerhorn was amazing and I lOVE the result! You have all my respect man.
jesus all your builds make me so emotional! UGH! so incredible!!!!!!
I very much like this series and the Japanese Garden too. Nice contained things that you can really put your all into.
I may give another Japanese garden a try in Planet Zoo! - should be able to make it look a bit better
@@Silvarret With the wider variety of foliage available and slightly better looks I think you could be on to a winner there.
It's impossible to write a comment worthy of this video. The complete enormous scale of this project is literally a loss for words. Even a real world theme park couldn't even hope to come this close to perfection. I mean all of this with the utmost sincerity, Silvarret, you have created a Masterpiece.
Oh... not gonna lie, I forgot this series was going on. Although I haven’t been around these games for the last year, been focused on other things. Nice to see the final result, as always it’s a masterpiece.
I didn't expect videogames to be this calming but wow, the editing was very well done
Oh man Silv. Its so beautiful and the detail for a german when you see that everything is in german language haha. Love it
Absolutely beautiful!! and so peaceful to watch. I can't get over how immersive this park is, and how smooth the ride. Really makes me miss taking holidays to Germany and Switzerland!! 10/10, lad
Speechless. Its moments like this that make me remember why I fell in love with this game. Thank you Silv for what you keep giving to the community, it's just incredible
I'm here since the beginning and every month since then I've been checking RUclips for updates. It's the most wonderful creation I've seen in Planet Coaster so far. It's so nice it's finally available for download, though it's so sad not having updates anymore. It was an awesome journey. Thank you, Silvaret.
A beautiful, bittersweet end to my favorite Planet Coaster series. Your progress over the past two years has been incredible and I’m so happy you stuck with it until you had something you were proud of showcasing.
This ride reminds me of Big Thunder At Disneyland, but 10 times better, this ride is a true representation of planet coasters abilities and yours.
just beautiful, the thematization is really successful and we understand why you took so long to realize this project, and the layout is a fluidity for planet coaster! impressive!
This. Is. Perfect. This project shows what Planet Coaster is all about. Imagination, detailed planning, excellent viewpoints. To bad Disney already has its Seven Dwarfs coaster...
That is the best themeing I’ve ever seen in planet coaster well done
WOW! Never saw a ride as beautiful as this one! Bravo!!!!
60 downvotes have no clue what they are talking about.....this is actually amazing. I feel like you should contact disney or the Europa-park they love themed rides like this. Amazing beautiful every word is not enough. I want to ride this.
I watched the first video of this two years ago and it was awesome then. Completely lost track of your channel and your amazing work. Now YT just suggested this video and I am absolutely loving it! Your dedication in on another level man! I am from Switzerland and I feel completely at home in the environment you've created here (: I'm lost for words....
Thank you!
Man. I am lost for words! Jägerhorn must be the best creation ive ever seen in Planco (and other simulation games). The composition is outstanding, the architectural references are on point. The coaster is an amazing family ride that makes disney look like amateurs! The theming of the areas on and around the coaster has a fantastic charm and a magically nostalgic vibe even tho its fictional. Your Offride shots and your POV are amazing aswell. Ive always been a fan of your work but this is hands down the best ive ever seen. Congratulations and thank you for being an inspiration to the whole planco society. - Sannerud
THATS INCREDIBLE!!!
I’d love to ride this in real life
Maybe once I can lucid dream I’ll ride it there.
Dude, straight up goosebumps, all this time you spent on it, it's amazing to see it finished and captured like this! This made my night! :)
Thanks man :)
Not only is this an awesome creation, it is also an awesome video of that creation. So many creators miss out on truly showcasing their parks and rides due to shortcomings on the video. Editing, shot composition, music, etc..are so important, and you absolutely nailed it with this one!
The ride and scenery are absolutely stunning! Easily one of the best coasters made in Planet Coaster.
Been following this build since the beginning and the result, along with the journey is INCREDIBLE
by far my favorite Planco Coaster project. Love the coaster, love the theme. Everything is so cohesive and well thought our, but not overdesigned. It seems very plausible to me that this could be a section of a Disney, or Busch Gardens park.
Awesome coaster ride. The lush look of the trees, the rocks and the turns of this ride was just amazing hearing the click of the uphill climb. Superb.
Absolutely fantastic ride, good length, leaning more towards a longer ride, and that train interaction... divine!
I've been following this series since the beginning and am in total awe at its creation. Truly a magnificent effort on your part. Very well done and thanks for all your hard work.
4:38! Epic moment when the music changes and the interaction between the trains is happening
pls check out my dwemer coaster silvarret
Thank you! I had no idea you made a new video. Will definitely check it out!
Oh... I remember seeing pictures of this actually. It looks really amazing!
Jesus man, the amount of time and detail you put into this is truly inspiring.
I'm here nearly a year later but have been watching every part of the series this week and WOW what an incredible finale. The music is a spectacular choice and complements the visuals so well. The park itself is stunning. The shot at 6:46 made me audibly gasp in wonder, especially with the synchronization to the music. Just outstanding work.
You can really see the effort that went into this project. This coaster is one of the smoothest planet coaster rides I've seen to this date. The theme really pulls this together, with all of the alpine buildings, and flora. Exceptional work. This is a masterpiece. Thanks, Silv, I loved this series.
Silv, my absolute favorite project to date. It’s been such a blast to follow and the end result is just spectacular. Really, really knocked it out of the park with this one. Thanks for bringing us along!
Easilly on one the best if not THE best mine train ive ever seen in planet coaster!
If the Matterhorn and Expedition Everest fused, this ride would be the end result! A very entertaining ride and the swiss aesthetic is very appealing. Great job!
More like fusing the Matterhorn, Expedition Everest, and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad together.
This is, By far, The best piece of planet coaster content, I have ever laid eyes upon.
Such a magnificent presentation, and what a ride.
You've made some awesome rides in the past, And I hope you'll keep pushing yourself, This is stunning.
The second drop and airtime hill! Steel Vengeance whom?!??
In all seriousness, it’s so damn cool to see this project finally wrapped up Silv! Big Thunder Mountain was one of my first coaster obsessions, and you REMAIN my perennial favorite YT creator, so I’ve been eagerly following this project from the jump. Gorgeous work as always, your attention to detail is what makes these projects come alive. Thanks SO much for putting this up.
Yeah, this thing has crazy airtime for a mine train. Shoutout to the back row of Colorado Adventure. Thank you!
Wow it looks amazing. Especially with the music. I've been watching since the park began! It's come a long way. You inspired me to get planet coaster. Keep making amazing videos!
Stunning Work Silv! I love it!
Seriously what the hell Silv. This is absolutely breathtaking, even after following your series. And the pristine polish on all the in-game capture is just beautiful. I’m lost for words, seriously.
Those transitions are so satisfying to watch and those bridges and catwalks are soooo good. I'm probably going to waste 2 hours just looking at this when I download it.
This is by far the best thing I’ve ever seen in a coaster building game, probably the best thing I’ve ever seen in any sandbox. I feel like you could legitimately sell this layout it’s so realistic and great
Thats a big honour, thank you!
This is incredible. The sensation I have from just watching this is the same one that I have when I'm snapping my neck trying to take in all the design and engineering at a Disney park. I've never felt that anywhere else let alone sitting at my computer. Possibly the first time I've ever longed to go somewhere that wasn't real.
Thank you so much! That's just a huge compliment...I could only wish to be at that level.
It turned out great! I love the interaction between the trains, and the attention to detail in the scenery really sells the ride.
Thank you for the hard work, it was a joy to watch!
This is just like Steel Vengeance - an all-round awesome ride, and the second half is better than the first. Also, I love the interaction between the trains on the first and second drops
A masterpiece! The use of a soundtrack rather than screams takes it to another level. What a terrific experience, thank you.
I learned so much watching you build those buildings. I have been here since the start, and it has been a privilege. Thanks for the walkthroughs of the detailing. Those are some of my favorite episodes! Beautifully rendered cinematics, Silvarret!
Your attention to detail is just astonishing. I remember watching the first video you made on this coaster and to see it all come together has been amazing.
I like all the details of the coaster, the meeting of different trains throughout the track and the perfect timing. Nothing seems random. And the scenery is the best I‘ve seen so far in Planet Coaster!
This has definitely made me want to get this game more than any trailer ever could. Very well done!
Amazing! You put all of ur passion and love into this project, thanks for sharing this with us for over 2 years!
Fantastic build - especially since previous builds were beautiful, but felt a bit short. This one was wonderfully long enough to really get into it!
Also, that opening cinematic just gave the same kind of feeling one gets sitting in bed, eating warm cinnamon buns, sipping hot cocoa, half under a down quilt, wearing thick wool socks and a hoodie, watching the snow fall outside. Just a nice, warm, cuddly feeling.
Awesome build and look forward to the next invention!
no matter how long it took, this is a masterpiece!! thanks for blessing us with such awesome content :)
I still have no words. I really loved the series and the result is actualy stunning for me.
Just saw the Planet Zoo build of yours in my recommendations. Wow, so impressed! I couldn't believe how detailed and now I'm just binge watching your videos. You're so talented and I'm now a subscriber. Can't wait to hopefully see more builds when the full game launches.
This is an absolute masterpiece. Hands-down one of the best creations I've seen not just from Planet Coaster, but from any coaster game ever. Bravo.
I play alot of Planet Coaster and the time I spend on it is ALOT, but nothing I do can even compare to this. It looks beautiful. Great job!
Wow, Silv you really are on a different dimension when it comes to details and realistic. My hat is off to you
This is from another planet. Everything about this project is utter brilliance.
What a beautiful creation. I’m usually not interested in building videos of games, but this is so calming. The music adds to the atmosphere a lot too. Good job.
Halfway through the video I completely forgot I was looking at a videogame. It all felt so realistic and well thought out. The themepark building industry would be at a loss if they don't offer you a job for designing new rides.
Wow, just still amazing! Found your video while watching some real coasters videos and real parks. The first seconds i thought, it's a real park and from the first to the last second i have really to say - i enjoyed every second of your great video and nice background music! What for a fantasic and unbelievable work you did! Just wow and my biggest respect!
Wow, this is just amazing and beautiful. That 2nd lift timing was right on!!!! Great work and vision here!
Awesome coaster, well designed, absolutely detailed. Good work!
I followed this whole journey and it was worth waiting for. It's a masterpiece
