I've been binge watching all your videos, making my way back through them from latest to oldest. Just want to encourage you that your fresh and all the things that are different from most vloggers that makes you more interesting to watch. I watch so many other vloggers and they all try to do the same things as each other that it becomes boring. To see the same behaviour on another person again and again. I love your individual take on vlogging it is so refreshing. I feel inspired after watching your videos
I just found your channel and totally ❤ your content. You keep doing you and subscribers will come because you are a joy and inspiration to watch. It doesn't matter if your Mennonite or not. I am sure your followers are there to watch and enjoy your content in its entirety not just what faith you follow. Ignore those that judge..they usually have way too much time on their hands and maybe should be knitting blankets and put their fingers too use off the keyboard 🤣

Hello! So nice to watch you and your beautiful family again! You are always so sweet, and I love your videos! By the way, I absolutely love your green doors in your home! Today I woke up not feeling so great, made breakfast of omelets for the family, and have been resting. I will start homeschooling 4 of our 6 children at 11:00. A bit late, but that's the beauty of homeschooling! We have all day, so it doesn't matter if we start a bit late!

I just found your channel. Why don’t you wear a veil covering ?
Not all mennonites cover their hair. Mennonites are a sect of anabaptism, and we believe in adult baptism, pacifism/nonresistance, and strong community! There are lots of things that make someone Mennonite other than just wearing a head covering. Conservative mennonites (who usually wear head coverings and dresses) are actually the ones who split off of mainstream mennonites when they thought it was getting too modern as the world changed. A huge majority of the churches that are a part of Mennonite Church USA don’t use head coverings, etc, but we don’t see it as sinning or not following the Bible- we just generally interpret the Bible less literally. I can’t speak exactly for this RUclipsr, but this is my experience as a modern Mennonite!

I really enjoyed your video! What type of Mennonite are you? I have never met a Mennonite that does not cover her hair, nor one that way so much eye make and jewelry... not trying to be rude but we get a lot of Mennonite literature, homeschool curriculum along with local friends. They all follow the Bible’s command to cover when praying and to not wear jewelry.
Hi Lindsey, I might do a video sometime doing a deeper dive into our beliefs, but there’s actually a pretty wide array of Mennonites (some even a lot more liberal than us)! 💗 I grew up in a very conservative church so I know what you mean!
@@thisgoldenhour I get the different level of conservative vs liberal but that is usually added church standards, I have never meet anyone who was so liberal they didn’t follow Gods Word (modesty, your shorts…jewelry, hair covering, etc…). Sure, no cape dress but your church doesn’t even follow the Bible?
@@momoflittleladies Wow! Judge much? What about “judge not lest ye be judged”? What about getting the log out of your own eye? I didn’t see shorts? I saw a skirt with long leggings underneath? Are you qualified to determine the thickness of her eye makeup? If she had a little less on then it would be ok? I saw her wearing wedding rings and some simple earrings? Was that excess? My mind automatically went to all the wonderful Christian women that are not “Mennonite”. Would you judge Billy Graham’s wife or daughter? Joni Eareckson Tada? What if they had on eye makeup or not a head covering? There are many many Christian women who spread the gospel and do amazing things and who are you to judge any of them? Maybe take a good long look at yourself next time before you start to bash someone else. Also, something simple you might want to remember is if you have nothing nice to say don’t say anything at all!
Virtue signaling isn’t the way to heaven, friend. Why don’t you focus on cultivating and growing in your own virtue and and charity. You definitely need it.
@@jenniferfogle5465 she is judging her by her own claim to be Mennonite. That is all. She doesn't look Mennonite at all and it is what it is. She looks modest and covered...but not Mennonite. If you Put your life on RUclips, make a claim, then prepare to be measured by it.

An evil lifestyle? You’re joking right? This family is one of the most devoted faith based families I’ve seen. In fact Steph’s book choices are what steered me back to my faith, which is now stronger than ever.
