You’re lucky to see phone boxes these days. The only ones I’ve seen in the past 10 - 15 years were in Hereford. They’d been converted into a local bookshare/library and some had defibrillators in them. Nice to see Barnsley recognising Dickie Bird. A nice guy. You’re right to ask viewers to lift their eyes up. There’s a lot of great sights if you look around you. Thanks for doing what you do.
I've just discovered your channel, very interesting. I too emigrated to barnsley from Leeds many years ago and I now live in a cemetery in barnsley. Walking round my "garden ," I often wonder about the history of the lives of the occupants.
You live in a cemetery in barnsley? I would love to live in one, while breathing of course. I've filmed a few cemeteys around, barnsley cemetery, ardsley, Worsbrough and others. I really enjoy discovering the background stories of people in cemeteries and graveyards. Xxxx
Knowing the cemeteries I've got a good idea of which one but won't say lol. You should check the channel for those videos I may uncover something on a grave you know xx
Your right Sarah about the old red telephone boxes smelling of pee, everyone in my home town smelt like it. I think the drunks at the weekends made the smell ringing for a taxi while drunk. Great little video Sarah and very interesting. Like you I love old buildings and graveyards.
Given its clientele, maybe the Coven shop only opens at midnight? Whitby is a great place for witchy and vampirey stuff, as well as having a great clifftop cemetery. Great video again. Only ever driven through Barnsley, so nice to be shown round. xxx
Like the idea of the shops too. So perhaps a whitby walk video would d be good xx may go around or after Halloween. Plus got an amazing Halloween video coming up xxx
@@SarahsUKGraveyard Look forward to that. On Thursday at 8pm on Five there is a programme about Yorkshire, which features Whitby. A good time to go to Whitby is, of course, Halloween, but also Twixmas. It is much quieter - not as many people want to go to the seaside in December, I guess - but it is a nice way to fill in that gap between Christmas and New year. xxx
Very interesting that secret grave yard you found, never seen one where all the gravestones were so similar, they reminded me of a slice of bread stood up , have you done anymore research? Great vid 👍🏽
Hi, yes I thought that odd them all being uniform. No, I only v I sited yesterday so the bit I put in is all I've done to date but I am going to do a full video coming up soon. See if any interesting facts can b unearthed xxx
