What makes Colombian Style so effective and exciting is that the dancers movement responds mostly to the rhythmic base of the music. And not just the basic rhythms but ALL rhythm. Other forms of salsa don’t do this to the extent that the Colombians do.
Not sure how they won. There were no twirls like they didn't like to touch each other except for the lead to throw to throw the other one across the floor.
well I was about to say the same. no salsa flavor at all😫 just fast footworks/ shines, lifts, etc. I know their musicality is beyond this world but I just dont understand the judging criterias here. where is the partnerwork/ connection/ leading and following patterns?😆

Primer lugar sin bailar como una pareja mixta y sin dar tantas vueltas que es como se cree ahora que se baila la salsa.
