I also want to add a few things for inspecting the engine bay. Look for any clamps being out of place or marked up aswell as the downpipe, turbo and head studs having light marks or scuffs. Basically look around any of the bolt on areas as this will be the go to after market stuff for most people and will give an indication as to if it was fucked with or not. Seeing as Subaru announced the new stis it’s pretty likely the market will see a lot more used wrx and stis so I wanted to add a couple more things for anyone looking to buy one. Also adding this bc I forgot, look for missing heat shields and to check every panel for damage or poor repairs aswell as to look at the warning lights when you turn the ignition on to see if they’ve been tampered with. I appreciate your video man I’m gonna check out more of your channel.

Great video man thanks for the hints checking out a 2013 wrx premium next week going check under trunk for rust, and under engine its got 60000 miles on it he wants 13 k for it might be able to talk him down tho.
i’m looking at buying a 2018 wrx premium. one owner, clean title, no accidents, clean carfax. it’s got 98k miles, do you think 17k is a good price? edit: it’s basically stock, the only modification is an aftermarket radiator.
No chance, i can find the above for $13-14k in new england. The perk is the single owner, if you are thinking long ownership, that could be an advantage
Hello from Vancouver! Always enjoy your videos! Question...I noticed that your VB isn't lowered...any plans to lower it or are you going to keep it stock height? Thanks!
How would we know if the ECU has been flashed? I asked a Subaru tech and they said that they check for all trade ins, do you think every dealership checks?
Hell no 😂 I doubt every Subaru dealer checks either, IF that’s the case and they didn’t buy them when tuned; most Subaru dealers would have none. Obviously some may check, and still sell the car anyways if it was tuned. Random dealers aren’t checking, they’ll buy cars with mods still installed and no AP
Looking into a 2019 wrx limited from Carmax in Cali for 24k with 55k miles. I know, cali prices are high. But clean title, one owner only thing it has no service records 🫤. Should i consider it? I was gonna take it to sneak it to subie dealer to go through it while i test drive lol
Congratulations Jobe! Looked and sounded sick! 🎉

Thinking about selling the one I have on my channel. 2018 silver wrx premium. Only 51k miles, always garaged, zero mods. But I also love the car 🤷🏻♂️

I’m looking at a 2011 STI only 75K kms but it’s Cobb stage 2 tune with Cobb intake. Is that a concern? Can I just get it de tuned?
Shouldn’t be an issue if they installed it correctly mine is stage 2 as well and pro tuned no issues
Can you do a video about cvt on wrx
