What do we need licenses for??? Constitutional carry!!!!
Just because GOAL is fighting this, it doesn’t mean they will be successful! It will be good news if they are successful but, I wouldn’t get my hopes up!
Im pretty sure Any laws must be voted on by the States or citizens. The governor cannot just write up something to ban something they don't like.

These things should be overturned in court.
These companies offering a license are not legal in all states. Check their list of states they may comply with, which I think you will find is not many.
This sounds like a preemptive attempt at a license they hope the states will adopt.
I would wait personally.
But wait a minute how come no one’s talking about what about people who have turned their applications in already before the law changed everybody keeps talking about all this other stuff. What about people who have their applications in limbo before the law changed? Let’s talk about that.
Its been covered in other channels.....(specifically Cape Gun Works which is a great channel too) anyone who's LTC/FID has been turned in prior (still waiting for approval) and after 1AUG applicants will be paused until funding for new program comes in to the MSP. this is why the legislation did this, to legally get around LTC/FID SCOTUS rulings......welcome to the commie state of Mass

my business address is my house so I can’t apply for a LTC using my address?

GOAL just updated thier website regarding training. MSP suspended the new training requirements temporarily. You can go thru the training as it was previous before the new law took effect.

Before these laws it was already expensive I paid 150 for the class then another 100 when I turned in my application at the police station that’s 250 right there then my first gun was 500 that’s 750 for a license and a quality gun
150? its usually round 70-80 bks. you got ripped off for class my guy

How do I get my rights returned after it was “held” due to job related 1st responders ptsd. I never had any issues did all my therapy & more on my own time . Clean record. I love to hunt which I also taught hunters Ed for some years. . How much 💰 will it cost me to get my right back. Or is it easier to move out of lib tard land. Any -lawyers with advice. How much does it cost in total to get a MA LTC? I took a class a few years ago and got a certificate, never bothered to apply for a LTC yet. That class wasnt that cheap, over $50 I think. So now I have to take some other training if I want to apply? I noticed additional "training" classes arent that cheap either and seems like a pain to do. How is MA getting away with even making people get a license?
Licensing schemes are definitely unconstitutional but Mass doesn’t see it that way. They have a rogue justice system here.
When I took my class it was 100 from Mass firearms and had a live fire component. LTC app was 100 as well.
@timb7775 You give the cops a check for $100 when you hand in the application and course paperwork. If you already took the course, go apply NOW! If you get in before they implement the new training requirements, then you should be grandfathered as current LTC holders are
They are trying to apply new ltc
Regulations for new licenses
Instead of a 4 hour course they are going to make it a 40 hr course .
Then you need 16 hours of range time.
NY is already doing this.
Also you will pay 800$ for the course and the application fee will be 500$
And there's 1 more hoop to jump through I know NY is doing this you have to legally own a gun to participate in range qualifying.
So needless to say that they don't want you to have a 2A right.

GOAL is trying to get the whole bill recalled with a referendum! They will certainly be litigating that come November if this law is upheld though!

I was told it would take up to 8 weeks for a decision of my LTC and it's been almost 11 weeks and no word.

@@davidrollend219 I did and the only info they would give me is that it's still being investigated by the State Police. Hasn't been denied or approved.

If someone has had their LTC since 1990 & has always been Renewed. Will their be any changes ?

What a sh!tshow. On non resident permits, the language in the bill says they are no longer valid so any update on that section? Also, its says non residents have to register their weapons does that include the non resident ltc?
Non resident permits should still be valid, I haven’t seen the section you’re referring to. As far as the “registering” even GOAL doesn’t think there’s really any way to do that as a non resident. Even if they come through with clear instructions on that they haven’t actually created the real registry yet, that’s about a year off in their effective timeline. I’ll update if any new info comes up!
@@RestrictedAmerica The original GOAL outline spoke of out of state licensing being invalid, it seems to have been updated now and removed. If MA thinks I am going to register a firearm they can kiss my ass. FOPA is pretty clear that they cannot have a registry and I will not comply. If anything I don't need to carry in MA anymore so I'll just save the 100 bucks.

What if you hold a ltc in the town ehere you own a business? There doing awaybwith that? So come renewal will i not be able tonand have tondeal with the town i live in? I was denied in my resident town but not my business town.
