    3:58 - do NOT tighten these. they're supposed to be loose. the nuts are loctited in place. the bolts need to be semi-loose against the metal plate. back them out if needed. if you attempt to tighten these you'll fk up your Z axis - even stalling and jamming it.

    3:54 if you would follow instructions you have seen to bend cable and then insert this mount
    3:56 DO NOT TIGHTEN Z AXIS SCREW NUTS!! It can introduce z wobble! it has belt on top for both lead screws so it doesn't leave space for z axis to move if its bent. Trust me I wrote support because of this and they told me to leave it as it is! It won't make print quality worse.
    I had so much trouble with this printer that I can't realy recommend it. It won't be 'it just works'

    for me the infill issue that you mention solved itself when I raised the nozzle temperature around 10 to 15°C ,I think it wasnt getting enough flow at 400mm/s because the filament didnt have enough time to properly melt at these speeds

  • @Skimer54
    @Skimer54 5 месяцев назад +1

    A lot of these problems seem like alignment issues. level the bed, level the bed, level the bed. if your nozzle is scrapping, your bed is most likely not level. Also your Z clearance should always be adjusted, more often so with larger prints. I have Neptune 4 plus and only been printing for 2 weeks and z axis clearance and bed leveling is key.

    • @Skimer54
      @Skimer54 5 месяцев назад +1

      Also if your running at 500mm/s you are going to get more movement and shaking with your printer, which in return will slowly misalign your bed. that will cause scraping.

      I just start now to experiment with other materials and cant tell you much about tha capabilitys of the N4 with other filaments.
      Maybe i will make a video about that topic in the near future, but next video will be about all possible upgrade parts for the neptune 4... maybe after that i can check out things like TPU, PETG, ASA and others.

      plug a lan into the printer and into your router or wherever your internet network ports out for any wired devices and your laptop can connect via wifi as long as it is on the same network as the printer, you can find your IP address in the display on the printer and type that into a browser window and it brings up Fluidd, the klipper control interface to access the functions (this is per the neptune 4 pro, i dunno about any other printers but im sure it would be similar

      @@russshanks5913 nice :-)
      If you print over the fluidd interface, it should save your prints and you can later select it and print it again. If you are using the usb drive, you can only reprint it over the display when the previous print is done. It will not store it if you print something other in between.
      Not sure if it is necessary to leave the usb drin in the printer while printing, i changed over to fluidd after a few prints with the usb, and never get back ;-)
