Thank you! I struggle with learning and had just about given up on sizing text. You explained this in a way that I could actually understand and I will be forever grateful to you. 😊
Thanks. What I am actually looking for is a way to 'real size' all of my letters/words/icons etc to save me from having to do them individually. Also, my DS doesn't have that drop down menu, it has a top menu for the text. TIA!
Hi I just bought a Cricut Joy this video was great! Do you have a link on how to measure. I have a 9x7 board and wasn’t sure how to measure for letters. I rotated the text because paper is 4.5 wide so I printed long ways. I wasted vinyl trying to measure letters for the board. The Joy wastes allot of vinyl.
I want to make Days of the weeks on vinyl for roller bottles Is there a way that I can type all the days in separate text boxes and the select all and set size on all of the words at once?
Lorrie, I hope you can help me. I am very new to Cricut and I'm trying to cut the word WHOA in several sizes. For instance, I need the first size to be 12" but the total width of the word to be 29". No matter what I do I can't make it work. If I change the width the height changes and vice versa. I'm pulling my hair out.
Is there a way to write a paragraph (more than just a few words)? When I start, I get the 72 font. That's way too big, and I can't see what I'm typing after a bit. Maybe Cricut is just for small phrases, etc., and not for actually writing. That's all I can figure.
This video has helped with the font but I noticed my design space is different from yours. I don't see the little grey box on the top left to see the grids and I have my measurement for font and with on the top, verses yours is on a separate box to your left. How is that? Do I have the same program Lorrie Nunmaker?
I am trying to make a label, I want the fonts in the first line to be 20, and the fonts in the following lines to be 15. Every time I try to change the font size, all the fonts change to just one size. Does anyone know a solution? Thanks
you didn't show how to get to that menu that we need to adjust the size of the letters. My edit menu only gives paste copy and cut. So i'm still without direction
Hello, I seen your comment and thought that maybe I could be some help to you. I went on dafont.com picked a font I liked, downloaded that font clicked open and selected the folder then once it opened clicked install. Sometimes you may have to exit out of your Cricut Design Space and go back in there and it will be in your system fonts. Hope this helps.
Hi Lorrie, Can you tell me how to get my font to print with a metallic pen and without bleed. I don't want to cut the letters, I just want them written. It appears that cricut is outlining the letters and not writing them as the font appears. This creates a blurred effect. I then want to cut out a rectangle that encompasses the text. I am using the font "Diskus Std Bold".
Thank you! I struggle with learning and had just about given up on sizing text. You explained this in a way that I could actually understand and I will be forever grateful to you. 😊
Oh, my goodness!! THANK YOU!!! I couldn't figure it out at all. Lol!! I kept resizing and trying, but it wouldn't work. 😂 You're a life saver!! 🙌
You saved my sanity! Thank you!
Thank you! I have been one of the people struggling with this! Amazing
Thank you for an easy to understand video. Instructions are so clear.

Thank you so much, I thought I would never learn how to size correctly the name I was doing for a tumbler.
Thank you so much. This helped a lot
Thanks Lorrie. I just made (due to you) my first card (not from cricut - but designed by me) due to your helpful video's!
How do you get that Edit box to come up?
im curios too
Very helpful Lorrie. Thank you.
Thank Lorrie, you make it so easy, very helpful and thanks for this video.
Omg! Thank you!! I was struggling!!
Thanks for the video!! My question is how do you stencil without losing the centre of the letters??
I realize this was done some time ago, i just saw it...how do you finish it? Like get the text back in alignment etc.? Tku

I have a project where I need the font to stay 1inch in size but 12inches long. How do I do that without the words looking stretched or distorted?
Thank you 😊

Claudia Lasiter just
Change the font size in the edit menu on the top. You can write as much as you like
Do we have samples of writing I can just chose from? I want my text writing like this I'm using ? 5:49
I want to caption photos in a photo album. How small you make the letters be.
Do you have to do this with all the letters?

Mine is different too. I think it is because ours is the more current version as this video was made in 2014.
What is the minimum font size you can cut with this machine...? Thank you very much
This video is very old. The machine used in this video has been updated a few times. I’ve cut very small letters (less than 1/4”) out of vinyl.
@@LorrieNunemaker Ok thanks
But I want taller letters but I don’t want it to get longer

Debi Smith you’re watching a very old video. Design space has changed since then. Here is the current video ruclips.net/video/biFiJ9T7E2M/видео.html
