I've been buying up all kinds of yamahas the past couple weeks. Picked up an 02 blaster for $400, 03 warrior for $500, working on getting another blaster this weekend. Only did a carb clean on both, new plugs, couple odds and ends. Got 2 solid rippers going back onto marketplace this week. Make a quick $1500 or so. You motivated me to get back into tinkering with stuff man. Get up in there people 🤘🏻

I love Blasters! I bought my second last July and I lost spark a few days later. I rebuilt the stator with oem coils but it took months to get all 3. Cleaned and fixed everything else while waiting. It's mint now 2001 and runs awesome! Tors deleted, oil block off, fmf gold series fatty pipe and silencer, vforce reeds, no air box cover with k&n filter, 260 main 38 pilot, new chain and sprockets. I don't think I will ever sell it like I sold my 89 awhile back. Thanks for the videos

Oddly enough I fixed pretty much the same issue on my Banshee this weekend. Its been at my buddies place for a while and I finally got it over to my place. Last time I tried to start it I heard a clanging noise from what I thought was the crank case and thought I blew the engine. So I left it there for a while, but when I started tearing into it to pull the engine the stator was free spinning on the shaft and I found the key laying in the cover. It was a little beat up so I filed it to get rid of the burrs and put it back together. I haven't tried starting it since then because I tore the clutch cover off first and I need a new gasket for it before I can start it. If I had started on the stator side I'd probably have a running Banshee instead of a $5K paperweight on my back porch.

I have a 2006 Yamaha blaster I pick up off Facebook it rode fine the day I pick it up but didn’t start the next day?. I went ahead and I purchased a new carburetor and new stater, new flywheel and a new CDI box. But I’m running into the problem I’m not getting any spark at all anything you recommend I can do? Thank for your time and help! I enjoy watching the videos

Have you ever had an issue where you had spark on the coil wire but won’t get spark when you put the boot on with the plug?
Got some good old spark! Probably would have fooled some less experienced people for a while. Way to knock it out.

On my blaster if I spray quick start on the air filter it will start then if I leave it for a whole it won't
Air leak most likely. If u mean same day. If u mean weeks later probably just bad fuel in carb bowl
What about one that takes like 20 kicks to start and when it does it sounds loaded up

I have a 03 blaster that will fire up on starting fluid nd got the tors deleted nd put a new top end on it when it starts running for a while nd goes in a high idle Rev up nd they dies nd don't want to kick over after that. What could it be.
