I enjoy FF14 and I love RP but FF14 ruined RP for me, Nearly everything even the most serious RP nearly always gets derailed into ERP. In my groups first week of FF14 RP we had a Lalafel going around stealing our groups females members panties and then well using them We had a guy join who wanted to RP kidnapping and selling girls for gold Also since our group is mostly women IRL most of them quit within 2 months and went back to WOW RP because even if WOW had its creeps it wasn't that bad. Still play FF14 but I have quit RP :( The amount of non-consensual ERP you can get dragged into is absurd Last time I rped before I stopped we were a Merchant caravan welp turns out one our caravan members was transporting Lalafel girls to be sold as sex slaves, None of our caravan knew about this and pissed quite a few of us off since we mentioned NO ERP out of character before starting
After a certain age Birthdays & New Year Eve parties are meaningless, & no longer celebrated. After the age of 21 the next milestone age is really only in your retirement years. And After finding your soulmate going out for NYE is just pointless, you're gouged with insane pricing, parking is also insane & if no one hits your parked car you're one of the lucky few. Here's a HUGE TIP for when it comes to a place to go for NYE is the Firefighters & Policeman's Hall, it is the only place worth going, prices are super cheap, ample & secure parking, huge ballroom, & you couldn't be in a safer location with every last cops strapped. When we left the sun was resen & a fog rolled in, visibility was 25 feet, so once I drove under an overpass, I stopped my car & backed up and hid in the cops favorited place to catch speeders, yes I had an SUV (Jeep like) & able to hop the curb. We slept 'til 11 am & the fog was gone, so we went to get pub burgers, best in the city.
That cocaine Santa story has made me want to give Final Fantasy a try, but with a twist. A human warrior from WoW was to appear in the land of Lalafells and Cat people.
@@EloquentTroll As a Lalafell player myself, I can assure you most of the insane degeneracy is isolated to either the dedicated housing districts (which you never once have to visit for the main story), or at worst the Limsa Lominsa Aetheryte plaza, which even then it's usually best to just ignore them and beeline straight for the story objectives. The rest of the game is like 99.9% less degenerate than what the RP fans get involved with. Also, Lalafells are like Goblins lore wise, short, but deviously crafty capitalists, so it kind of balances out.
Love learning new things about other cultures and i guess it makes sense that the man hated that the guy married a japanese descendent considering that the Japanese terrorized the rest of asia fro a good part of their history
