- An orange Dodge Charger, believed to have been stolen in Georgia, flew by a Michigan State Police trooper doing 120 MPH on I-75. Seconds later, it crashed into another car and the driver bailed before the officer could arrive. He didn't get far and was arrested a short time later.

Plus there was a truck coming by one lane over a second or two after cop merged into the far right lane. Inertia and the angle of how he entered the lane would have put him directly in the path of the truck if he was rear ended, and even if the truck driver slammed on his brakes, the cop is dead in that situation. A similar thing happened to me about three months ago. I was on the interstate here in the Miami area. A grey Charger came flying past me. About two miles later all traffic came to a stop. I got off at the next exit, so I didn't see the accident, but I had a pretty good idea who caused it.
I used to live in Michigan but now live in Germany. I LOVE being able to drive my Camaro ZL1 180+ mph without worrying about police.
I literally cruise at over 120 mph all the time and now it actually feels like it's only about 60 mph because I'm so used to it.
Twist ending, half the Autobahn has a speed limit, some parts of the Autobahn are in road work restrictions just like any highway 👩🔧 Just keeping it real.
@@craftpaint1644 Not to mention the tunnels, tight curves, bridges are limited. I received a ticket for going too fast in a tunnel. You also have trucks that are restricted to 50mph.I set the cruise control on 80mph and had to constantly switch it off. Traffic moves totally erratic. You do not cruise at 120mph. The autobahn is shit to drive on. People brag about driving fast on the autobahn, but that is not reality.
Uhhhh, you might worry about the availability of an ambulance.
By me there are very long stretches of Autobahn without speed limits, during non heavy traffic times of course.
Regarding the "ambulance" comment, you can drive very fast and still be safe. I take driving and safety very seriously.
Ironically, I had an accident on the Autobahn where someone came through the barrier from the other direction and hit me head on. Luckily we were both only doing about 120 kph.
Fun fact, had I been driving 300 kph, I wouldn't have been involved in the accident as it would've been in my rear view mirror 😅
The thing here is the idea a Chevy can do the autobahn thing .
The sigh at the end, was the end of a joyful day..
Love the sigh before getting out of his cruiser 😂. Just thinking about the paperwork involved
My son’s a state trooper. You nailed it
@@suecave7139 been a city cop for almost 34 years now, Sue, so I know exactly how they feel 😂
Giving us mopar owners a bad look 🤦🏽♂️
Average day in Detroit
They’re replacing the mustang stereotype now
You have to look in the far left lane as soon as the video starts. I think you can see an impact cloud in the distance too which is when/why the cop takes off?
This is one of those "use your discretion" and don't chase given the traffic on the roadway.
The way he inhaled and exhaled got me 🤣🤣🤣 he’s like “smh I knew it”

Lol you wish, can’t even get a bicycle with a score that low, but seriously this is a problem with almost every sports car there always a group of idiots that make everyone look bad by doing dumb crap.

God I love the highways that run through Detroit... you can be going 20mph over and someone still wants to go 40mph around you lol
Rolling 75 in a 55 and some dude passes going 95.
Detroit.
That actually doesn’t look too bad considering how fast that car was going
Thats exactly why Michigan got the highest insurance in the Country
I thought Cali did
Michigan did recently drop the "Unlimited" insurance requirement. For the first time in decades, Michiganders can get a lower insurance coverage and still be legal, but unlimited remains available as well.

that drawn out sigh tells me this isn’t buddy’s first time dealing with speeding cars crashing
Dodge Charger…I️ need no further description of the suspect.
Honda crv: look I caught him for you
Trooper: (sighes)
He said to himself, "Damn I didn't think I'd have to work hard today"😤😄
No, he thought this is just a matter of time an idiot will speed by!!
It's Michigan so I doubt he expected uneventful day. Most likely sighed thinking "can't I get 1 calm minute in this trash city?". Lol
If you full send, you must never stop full send.
Just cause you stole a hellcat don’t mean you know how to handle its power
And then the driver of the charger will say that the driver of the Honda was clearly at fault.
no fault state.
The trooper sigh because he dont wanna do all that paperwork.
1)
see red dodge at the very beginning of vid
2)
cop took way too long to respond
3)
dodge driver saw the cop, undoubtedly, and probably wrecked cause he took his eye off the road, looking for cop in his rear
4)
cop arrives, door is OPEN with no one standing around. Clearly fled the scene cause he saw the cop.
5)
see the guy in the bright yellow reflective gear POINTING up the hill, as to notify the cop that the driver ran up hill and over fence
6)
sigh because its about to be a FOOT CHASE!
Something tells me this man would be brilliant behind the wheel of a mustang.
Just love the fact that tow trucks are always on the scene as if pre-arranged!
#crisisactors?
That's a half of a day of doing paper work that long 😤
Took me 4 times to even see it pass 😂
I can read his mind, "Do you know why I didn't chase after you, because I knew you were going to crash, come on let's get to you to the hospital before I put you behind bars"
(back at the station)
Booking Cop: "Where's the perp?"
Trooper: "Ooops...he must have fallen out over the Interstate bridge..."
Metro Detroit has not changed. When I was in law school during the 1990's in Detroit, speed limits on the interstates around Metro Detroit were loosely enforced. There was also a factor that may still be present today, a serious under manning of state troopers for Metro Detroit. I recall something about only eight troopers per shift for the entire interstate system around Metro Detroit. That is literally one trooper for every 25 or so miles of Interstate. Given the number of accidents, disabled motorists, etc. at any given time, there was and probably little if any manpower for speed enforcement. In this case there was a low probability that another trooper would be able to intersect the 120 MPH motorist before he existed the Interstate.
Who gives a shit lettem do him
696 is known as the Autobahn. If you are in the fast lane going less than 85, get out of the way. I don't know how a patrol officer can give a ticket to anyone when everyone is going 20 or above?
