- Let’s Talk Loyalism with Stacey Graham
Stacey is a Shankill community worker from Woodvale, Belfast. She is a proud “unashamed” Loyalist.
We caught up with her to ask her what Loyalism means to her, what she loves about Loyalism and what she would like to see change in Northern Ireland.
We hope you enjoy.
Then start by getting rid of the drug dealers
Panic setting in too late to give image they've changed. It's coming ⌚👀 🇮🇪
Great to see Pat Butcher doing well after eastenders
What do you mean by Ulster?
Exactly. It's like that Red Hand they think is their symbol when it's an ancient Irish Gaelic symbol linked with the O'Neills.
@@sheela-na-giga-byte8397 its a Norman symbol that was used by some clans in ulster.
Your both right
@Jack the Film Fanatic Correct but Ulster and its people are legally, politically, socially, economically divided and consistently when loyalists talk about Ulster they don't mean Donegal lad.
Hence the criticism of it being used when they don't believe in Ulster rather use it for their own ends.
"The Red Hand is rooted in Gaelic culture and, although its origin and meaning is unknown, it is believed to date back to pagan times... The Red Hand symbol is believed to have been used by the O'Neills during its Nine Years' War (1594-1603) against English rule in Ireland, and the war cry lámh dearg Éireann abú! ("the Red Hand of Ireland to victory") was also associated with them." en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Red_Hand_of_Ulster
State of this
Loyalist shankill, more like hypocritical shankill,
They don't want irish Street names but will accept irish symbols like the red hand of ulster, will drink tins of harp with the Dublin trinity college harp as a logo, use the words irish or ireland when they say where there from (northern ireland) or what they are (northern irish) and i'd also say theres symbols of the shamrock in the shankill area, plus also shankill is derived from gaelic meaning old church so why would irish street signage be a problem for the Irish/british shankill cause they're colonised, plain and simple
Nice to see Burney Nesbitt back
Flag protest did not change the status quo
Pat butcher looks well lol
She's looks more loyal to an Ulster fry.
🤣🤣🤣
No surrender !!!!
To?
An apt SINtenary sculpture would be a gravestone with 'No Surrender' etched on it. Dead & buried, yet refusing to give up the ghost!
Like your Union is becoming surrender
Except to Sf become the biggest party
The British goverment with abit of help from the Irish government will do that
Lol
Seems a generally friendly wee guy
Piss patter.
Beyond laughable
Lol
