Imagine if this community effort was put into something more long term. Such as a community center, local sports clubs etc. Wasted potential. Genuinely can you break down why you do this every year? I'm talking on a ideological level. Answers such as culture, tradition, family community event do not answer this question. What fundamental ideas does this teach?
Basically no retreat, no surrender and lastly that Britain will come. Its remembering that they were going to be slaughtered by the Irish, but they as a people, community and nation stood their ground for what they were as people. In the end the Loyalists come from Britain, so its remembering that too. Also its a banging party with a big fire. Gimp.

Are you saying this as an outsider or as an actual loyalist.
