as fun as it is to make absolute abominations for a place to lie your head it’s oh so nice seeing actual nice cozy houses this looks really cozy and nice good job
I’ve been outside of the TotK community for a little while so I have a few questions 🤗 What we’re those brasiers you had on the stakes? How did you get Korok pots there? How did you make a string of sundelions? What was that bowl on the table? I’ve never seen a model like that. You did a great job! This is so nice. I loved the outdoor patio, and the fact you had a picture of the Great Deku Tree in the gallery. Very nice touches!
Thank you so much!! As to your questions: The brasier is from Otak shrine. Use recall on it after breaking the rope it’s on so it doesn’t break. If you can’t hit recall fast enough, you can also drop shields fused with bulky items, glue them into a tower, and glue the lamp to that. After the rope is cut, attach an item (like an apple) to the lamp save it to autobuild. The pots were fused to my shields/weapons. Then I unfused them at Pelison’s shop in Tarrey Town, glued all my stuff together, and carried it up to the house. The sundelion garland was created with gravity nudging. When something saves to autobuild, it saves only the position of the attached objects, not the tension of the glue. If you stretch the glue connections slightly with a heavy object, save to autobuild, and repeat, this can be exploited to stretch the gap so wide that the glue disappears. Here is a tutorial: www.reddit.com/r/HyruleEngineering/comments/15fkl26/gravity_nudging_demo_of_a_variation_of_the_nudge/ The bowl is from Wao-Os shrine. It’s fused to a pot lid to make it smaller so it fits nicely on the table. Cheers! 😊
So cool! I'm curious, what's your process for bringing in other objects from around Hyrule? Like the hanging fire, the jars, etc. I know they don't stay in the house, and despawn (unfortunately). So I'm just curious how you're able to get them all there. Do you go to Tarrey Town and get Pelison to break apart fused items and then just use Ultrahand to put them all together onto a vehicle and then bring them to your house? That's the only way I can think of doing it but I was curious if you had a different method. Great work! Love your videos! :)
Yes, that's right! I go to Tarrey Town, glue a bunch of unfused stuff together, and usually just walk my pile of stuff up to the house with ultrahand, since it's close by. There is a limit of 21 dropped items, but things that are all glued together only count as 1 item. This allows me to bypass the limit: if I drop items from inventory while my pile of stuff is still glued together, and then unglue my items, the result will be more than 21 items on the ground. Things built with autobuild zonite and things pulled from the overworld (like Hudson construction materials) also do not count against the item limit. Some items, like the hanging lamp here from Otak shrine, cannot be fused and so they can only be built from autobuild.
Thank you! ✨It's the stone slab found here: objmap-totk.zeldamods.org/#/map/z2,0,0,Surface?q=%5EAsbObj_StoneRectangle_B_LL_03 I use this spreadsheet to find materials if you haven't seen it before: docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1eHHFwGDsI3sHTOLaawlxKgxbiLG8ceHUHpbpC2Bj57k/edit?gid=0#gid=0
Oops looking at it again, it's the stone slab AND that little wooden board that enemy camps hide behind. There are some on the road to Zora's Domain, I think.
That's correct, thank you! The pool is a standard piece you can buy, the patio floor next to the pool is a garden plot flipped upside down. The fence, stairs, patio roof, and furniture are custom builds using materials from around the map. Cheers!
Lovely place, just a bit concerned about how much freedom of movement is in the inhabitants. some of them look ominously stuck to objects. Not sure if i should contact Grand Designs to do a spotlight, Or call the Police
These Koroks are all from the Eldin region because I like their colorings, so not too far away. It was about a 15 minute flight to their vacation spot near Tarrey Town. 😊

Also I tried for like 15 minutes looking in that spreadsheet but I guess I glazed over it or something lol

How on earth did you make that outside bit with the water? This is incredible.
That appears to be a flipped over garden plot.

They're not being held hostage, what are you talking about?
