- We're back with another Transformers: Rescue Bots Academy review! Today, we're taking a look at the season 2 episode, "The Ties That Bind". In this episode, Scorch is stuck in car mode and Whirl must toe him back to base. But what's this?! Is love in the air? Do opposites attract? Is Whirl into bad boys? What would Scorch and Whirl's ship name be? Find out in this episode review!

None of it just a huge jerk who bullies guys and flirts with girls that's all he literally started flirting with whirl once he saw her so you could say how dangerous he is at least Hotshot was smart and followed them who knows what scorch would have done

Hey do you believe that Heatwave was lying to Wedge in Acting Out? We saw the first two episodes of season one, and nowhere was Wedge feeling like he didn’t fit in. We saw him being a jerk and was full of himself. Either Heatwave is lying or that he misremember the whole thing.
@@luvblueybingoheeler3150 I mean Hotshot joined the academy later and by the time he arrived the recruits already knew each other but then again wedge probably personally told heatwave but still doesn't explain why he was so mean to hotshot in the beginning
Lol I remember being really confused when watching this episode because Scorch was suddenly on earth, but I just kinda let it slide.
Well by the looks of it he must've have gone too far and everyone was about to kill him on cybertron because he's a huge jerk but he just so happened to be lucky to land on earth and screw the rust bolt how could whirl fall for him I wish she was rude to him the entire episode like I got upset and mad when whirl said they maked out a bit at least the last two episodes are going to destroy this one and scorch never comes back which is why I'm just so happy
he probably has a ship hidden on earth or he used a public spacebridge.
4 things
1. hotshot and whirl is the best ship in my or your opinion
2. scorch's vechicle mode kind of looks like knock out's vechicle mode
3. is the desert a reference to the episode when chase heatwave frankie and cody got stuck in the desert from a ground bridge malfunction or a reference to team prime's base in a desert transformers prime
4. scorch should meet brushfire and see where it goes
I agree Hotshot and whirl are forever no one can stop that Whirl is a sister to all the recruits,and scorch should hit on someone else

So I’m guessing scorch came back to earth with Heatwave after Empty City episode. Maybe he’s a bot in training. I can see Optimus wanting him to be more. He seemed to learn something from Hotshot about teamwork after that last championship game they played together. It was nice seeing Whirl get more confidence.
Well Hotshot is way better than scorch he never flirted with whirl and poor whirl doesn't realize that scorch probably already has so many girl friends I mean the way he flirted you could tell it wasn't his first I bet he would have hurt whirl you know cause she's small cause he's just the type of bot to steal whirl from the others but hotshot he never flirted in fact whirl has been mean to him at times and he still treats her nicely never expecting for payback I'm so glad whirl realized who was the better man for her in the end and Hotshot x whirl for life and scorch for IDW whirl I bet even IDW whirl agrees that hotshot is the right man for his daughter
@@sircharleston2712 I don’t think Hotshot sees whirl that way. And if he did I know he wouldn’t have any problem winning whirls spark🙂 I see Hotshot probably joining the Bee team and becoming a great leader like Bee and Optimus. And Whirl will probably stay at the academy and help Chase and be a mentor. She’s good at that. Hotshot is made of tough metal and it’s going to take a better badder bot to get at him then Scorch who he already schooled in their last game on Cybertron.
@@MySkinnydip Actually Hotshot is going to be the leader of the recruits he won't leave the academy and hotshot maybe tough on the outside but he has one soft spark and scorch he's dead no doubt nothing but a jerk
I actually think it's not forbidden for cybertronians to go to earth in whatever matter so long as they don't reveal themselves or harm anything either Scorch used a ground bridge or his own ship.
In RID we do see cybertronians casually go to earth.
This all lead to the reveal of wedge being built as a decepticon or more likely A CONSTRUCTICON!

There's something I'm just so confused about and that's the multi T cogs and on seeing this episode we saw whirl switch into both alt modes on the same day which really confuses me
like in the second episode we saw Hotshot make a promise to Optimus to prove himself worthy of the cog and then the cog flew and attached itself to Hotshot accepting him as his owner
but then Hotshot had to suffer the one day rule which he didn't realize he could break and ended up not enjoying the full luxury of being a multi changer until he did then he
had to work even harder to break the rule and then He got to enjoy his cog. But the fact that the recruits just slapped their's on and are enjoying it already like how unfair is that
ot just that but in best bots forever optimus mentioned he could award the cog to another recruit which confused me like he mentioned hotshot was worthy of the cog then he mentions
he can actually award it to another recruits If he could which recruit did he think it would be I mean It's not like they would just slap it on and then enjoy the full of it I just wish
we saw a scene where they would show hotshot was the only one worthy of that cog I mean the cog chose him how could optimus award it to another recruit and what makes it more strange
was the fact that in small cogs ratchet was preparing the other recruits cogs with ancient technology but we never saw him do that to hotshot's does that mean ratchet broke
the one day rule for the other recruits which made the cogs fake so they didn't have to be worthy for it and it ran on Hotshot's multicogs power cause he had to fill theirs
but we never saw someone fill hotshot's he got it right away and he had to make a promise and suffer so much to enjoy the full of the cog but the recruits they just put it on
and their straight of enjoying the full of it. I mean if ratchet broke the rule so they didn't have to be worthy for it why would he I mean wouldn't they want the other recruits
to prove themselves worthy of it like wedge would have to stop bullying. medix stop being rude, I mean if hotshot had to let go of fame then shouldn't the
other recruits have had to do the same with their wrongs I mean hotshot barely asked for fame yet he had to work so hard to break the rule yet the others are just putting it on and enjoying it
they never had to suffer the same I mean how unfair is that How could they not make hotshot question that he suffered so much it's unfair for him I wish there was an episode
which explained that at least show that hotshot's cog is the real one or at least show why hotshot was the only one with the rule
Hotshot has 3 forms and the other recruits only have 2. So maybe only having 2 forms is there penalty for slapping the cogs on like that without proving themselves worthy. And the original penalty was supposed to be the cogs not working at all but because Hotshot powered them up that made them work.
I felt similsely about the episode critical condition, and in the end the I discovered that the main reason I felt that way was because when ever I saw the episode I saw myself in Medix place and felt the confusion he felt, and I couldn’t stop worrying, and it sertintly didn’t help that my friend group looks almost just like the recruits. In the end I realized I’m not perfect and nether is Medix. I’m going to make a lot of mistakes, but the important thing is to learn from them and to keep trying even when it seems hopeless, and like no matter what you do everyone gets mad at you.
The whole point of that second one is maybe you’ve been seeing your self as Hotshot and that’s why your mad, and maybe you need to look a bit deeper into that, but I could be completely wrong. Ether way I hope one of these paragraphs helps, and that you have a good day. 😁
I usual wouldn’t go through and count how many comments someone leaves in a comment section but in your case... well... um.. you wrote a hole 59 comments. How in the primes did you find enough time to write 59 long detailed comments?! I know I was upset about the critical condition episode, but you really take the cake! I mean wow... just wow.

You got the point,those cogs are really not supposed to work like that from the original Mul-T-Cog from Hotshot like could Whirl forget her bad side so that she more focused on cares about someone like Hotshot if you ask me, my friend and comrade...😞

Forever Hotshot is so much of a nicer guy he lets whirl bully him he doesn't look at her and flirt seriously even IDW whirl would agree Hotshot is the perfect mate for whirl. But scorch I'm sure he's dead now he would have stolen whirl from the other recruits. I'm so glad whirl showed the most love she ever had to hotshot in the last two episodes this episode is trash

I swear. This episode confuses the heck out of me. Mixed emotions on scorch, the possibility the possibility that “Swirl” is going to be a thing(even thought Whirst whirl x hoist is probably cannon because of the certificate in museum mystery) and the fact that scorch is just flat out flirting/sacrificed himself when he’s the “every man for himself” kinda bot.

Well screw scorch I'm with the other ships but not whirl and scorch. Hotshot has the best and most moments in this series, Hoist comes second, Medix third. But I'm not a shipper I love whirl with all the recruits but scorch never

Considering the part where he let's Whirl know his insecurities as well as how Scorch planed that jump as she never jumped over a cliff before. Its more mutual respect. The hug was just because she was worried he'd have died because he saved her. Her relationship is oddly more built with Hoist. Hot Shot is giving me vibes of his relationship with Wedge is platonic or not. As for ol'scorchio nah its mostly platonic. I think whirls general dislike of him stems from his first introduction as well as that one time they activated a Titan and nearly got everyone smushed. How he got his earth mode? Beats me. Are there even other space bridges to earth aside from the one at the academy?
Bottom line. Yeah they are just platonic racing pals.

I know you being so upsetting that Whirl is changed from kind-hearted bot into some girl ho wanted to toying with someone like with hotshot...😟 I was piss to,but until two final episodes of season 2 she go back to her old self and not only she have great time with Hotshot,but also save the entire Earth from destroyed!!!😄 That's when i fell like Whirl finally getting closer to Hotshot like i & you really wanted to see, my friend and comrade!!!😇

OK I'm seeing a LOT of things wrong with how Scorch catches the boulder. First of all, if he didn't have enough energon left to transform safely, how could he have the strength to catch a boulder about THREE TIMES HIS SIZE? Also the angle he was at the weight of the boulder would just make him fall forward.
Don’t know how. Wedge is small too, but he has been shown to be a very mighty bot then all of the kiddieformers. How strong is Wedge? He does have some limits, but he is very strong kid bot. I wonder if he upgrades to a mature body, he will be even stronger (assuming with some limits of course).

CHAPTER 2 of my story:
Whirl: stop that you evil freak that's my friend I mean my brother quit hurting him using me I wanted to help hi not hurt him stop using me I can't take this anymore I don't want ot see my friend get hurt my me take my spark. but Unicron Ignored whirl's sad calls for he really wanted hotshot but he could not believe what he saw hotshot once again with no sign of anger or hatred once again seemed to go along with his rudeness and the bot seemed scared although he was in a girl who wasn't even close to being as strong as him after seeing Hotshot Unicron realized he had messed with the wrong spark for hotshot's spark was pure and he retreated leaving whirl back to the control of her body Whirl could not express how proud she was for Hotshot he had passed unicrons test but she was greatly saddened for Hotshot had been severely ill treated by her she felt guilty and immediately looked for ways to make up for it She in fact felt sorry for her soft friend who unicron had hurt in her body she wanted to apologize but she felt unworthy to hotshot. She felt that she didn't deserve a pure friend like him so immediately she decided she was going to make up for it she immediately saw the bot willing to make up for being uneasy in class using this she immediately vowed to help him using this she gave Hotshot as much love she had in her spark in fact so much he was the first bot she had ever given so much love to it was so much that all the moments with the others combined would not equal to it but whirl along with that could not stop smiling she was proud to see her friend seemed to have learned his value which whirl always was hoping she could
show him she kept to help hotshot never had she felt so proud. In the end they saved everyone and the new recruits were introduced but whirl had a different motive she wanted to make it up to hotshot she saw him admiring the statue right beside her she wanted to show him how much she cared for him, the recruits along with the others went to show the new recruits the academy and they were followed by the others whirl saw hotshot was still admiring the statue they made together and saw this her chance hotshot was about to join the others but then whirl grabbed him by the arm and gave him the tightest hug she had ever given in her entire life and then suddenly she gave the bot a big kiss on the cheek. Hotshot was blushed and was wondering what whirl was trying to do but whirl told him scorch was the first bot she hugged but he was the first bot she kissed and saying so she begged for an apology which to no surprise hotshot didn't even want her too and she immediately broke down for the bot and hugged him tighter saying he was like her brother and that he should never think he hated him for she had a special place in her spark for him to this hotshot teared never had he received so much love he thanked whirl for her kindness and they hugged for a long time and then joined together as the great friends they were before the ones who always helped each other.
Well this just what I thought because what else would be the reason it's not like whirl actually decided to be mean to hotshot. Leave a reply if you wished this was real cause

This isn't a plot twist this is the actual plot in my opinion :
When whirl was on the way to save scorch Unicron entered her grabbing control of the poor bot. Whirl was scared as she saw Unicron
take control of her but it wasn't just that she was also really upset with what he did in her body when whirl arrived to the location of the distress call Unicron was overjoyed for scorch had an evil spark and Immediately began pep talking with him.
Whirl: eww unicron what the heck stop making me look like I love him that's the jerk who kicked poor hotshot out of
the academy he doesn't deserve love.
but Unicron continued as not only did he keep talking with scorch but also gave him a big hug whirl on seeing this got mad.
Whirl: your nothing but a gay freak unicron
but Unicron was not done for he had a target and that was hotshot he wanted to test the bot to see if his spark allowed him he was using whirl as
a temporary trap to see if he could tempt hotshot to do a little evil and so it happened in medix gets schooled Unicron launched his first test on hotshot by making a face and then forcing his hand.Unicron: surely the boy will get angry and get abusive for I'm in a girl's body who's no stronger than him whirl seeing this begged him
but to his surprise he didn't seem to mind it Unicron realized that Hotshot maybe tougher to enter than he expected so he began running even more tests on the bot in wizard of botz he worsened his face however as unicron did not try the other recruits whirl was allowed to take control of herself Unicron let her have moments with the other recruits for his target was hotshot. Whirl was deeply saddened for she worried it was un fair for hotshot she tried to have moments with the bot but they could not be deep for if unicron noticed he would immediately grab control of whirl and be mean to hotshot and so once again in don't be alarmed unicron took control of whirl when he saw hotshot ask her a question whirl got upset as she saw Unicron rudely answer the bot she was greatly saddened she wanted to apologize but unicron would not budge things became horrified for whirl when Unicron grabbed full control of her in bot battle. Unicron wanted Hotshot the bot seemed to have no wish to take revenge nor show anger but kindness he decided to test him the hard way and whirl could do nothing but cry as she saw her poor friend get abused by her she wanted to tell hotshot it wasn't her but she couldn't unicron continued his test but failed for even after that Hotshot did not show any signs of revenge in fact he seemed to be normal. Unicron was shocked and whirl was proud to see her friend had passed but she was deeply saddened she could not believe her poor friend had been hurt by her she felt evil but she couldn't do anything for unicron was not done he did his final test in space party by discouraging hotshot.
Men,you really made the good plot for Rescue bot academy manga,like you really make felt like Hotshot & Whirl ment to be like this,and can you give me link for chapter 1 please 🙏 it's too long to find, my friend and comrade...😟

Don't worry I'm sure when he went back to cybertron there were some bots waiting to deal with him obliviously he didn't just end up in the desert he's probably dead and there's something to be happy about this is his last appearance and the last two episodes destroy this one to show whirl doesn't love scorch but all the recruits :)

@@sircharleston2712 yes I agree but this is broadcasted for children it dosent mean only they can watch but the stories then will be simple and not have a lot of depth and meaning and I like it that way.honestly you can hate the guy but I feel like your reaction was a bit much of course that’s coming from someone who would probably do something similar to a different character if they liked someone i didn’t agree with so take what I say with a grain of salt XD

5:40 poor hotshot should have been the main bot well the episode referred is going to destroy this one I guess scorch must've seen whirl in best bots forever and found her beautiful which is crazy how he has an episode with her I'd go with other ships but scorch and whirl never the jerk is so evil deep down and whirl being rude at the start was the right thing to do look what he did to hotshot. I know we have deep hatred to Scorch,he laid Hotshot to join the cube finals and mentally force Hotshot to apologize to other recruits and maybe the reason for Whirl to be less like good friend to Hotshot and more like she tried to toying with Hotshot like...😟 At least in end of this episode Hotshot follow Whirl and Scorch not just for the race,but also for make sure that Scorch is not like sexual harassing Whirl,that maybe look like Hotshot's former old friend would go to socialpath on her like i can't think of what Scorch go to done to Whirl with out Hotshot...😖 Ow my Jesus Christ...😳
