That would have been far more satisfying than this quick easy solution.

The writers made a big mistake when they brought back the character of Jagger. For one thing if they couldn't bring back the original actor then they could at least find someone who resembles him. They bring in this actor which was fine but they needed to do their research on the character and see that Jagger was a good , honest person with integrity. Yes Jagger hated Sonny for what he did to Karen and hated that Stone wanted to stay with Sonny , and it wasn't like Jagger couldn't handle Stone being HIV positive. He asked Stone to go back with him and Karen to Chicago ( at the time) but Stone refused because he didn't want Jagger to watch him slowly die of AIDS. It wasn't like they didn't love each other Stone made that clear to Jagger that he was his blood , he just didn't want Jagger to see him like that. Now with this guy player Jagger (the writers) totally changed the character ; yes he was still angry about Karen , but him harping on the fact that Karen was on drugs and dancing he needed to move on. Then on what Sonny did to Stone first of all Sonny didn't do anything to Stone beside giving a kid on the streets a place to live. Sonny helped Stone with his meds , treatment, and made him comfortable before he died ; plus alot a people pitched in to do that ( Felicia, Mac, Brenda , Lois, Kevin , Lucy, Tony , Bobbie , Mike , Allen , Steve Hardy , and obviously Robin). I knew that Jagger wanted Sonny to go to jail for his illegal crimes but to make him obsessed over it was over the top. They basically turned Jagger into this dirty FBI agent with no morals , he abused his badge , and no empathy for Molly , TJ , and they're deceased daughter. All he cared about was bringing in Sonny ; he used Jason , Carly , and Kristina just to get to Sonny. I wished they didn't kill off the character I would have rather they made him get fired and go back home to his son. If this was played out properly Stone would have appeared to Sonny (like Morgan) and stopped him from killing his brother , or appeared to Jagger and convinced him to let go of his anger and vendetta towarsds Sonny over him and Karen. They could have allowed the two men sit and finally hash everything out about Karen , Stone , and even Brenda too and maybe they could the character back to who he used to be and be more likeable again. I'm sad the character is gone for good , but what happens to his son? I know he's legal age but lives in a group home last Jagger had mentioned.

I hated how this story has ended with Sonny killing Jagger. I wanted to see Jagger redeemed because Stone loved his brother. I really liked the recast. Gorgeous blue eyes and lots of chemistry. But they made him turn bad at the end and go after Sonny. That’s not how it started. All to make Sonny the hero. Wasted story because same old same old ending and Jagger was a great character with lots of history to explore.
