Very impressive indeed ! Thank you for sharing.
The sale of Norman Rockwell's work in an auction in 2013 for a rude amount can be seen as an indication that there was a lot wrong in the world of High Finance!
There is still a lot of debate about when the financial crisis of 2008 really ended, but now there is a kind of consensus that it was never over, but has only gotten worse. We can now 'enjoy' the direct consequences of this. That crisis destroyed a great deal and during that period there were private individuals who were so exuberantly rich that they were able to buy art for such antisocially high amounts!
I am an artist and I also studied Fashion in the eighties of the last century. In addition, I also made many fashion illustrations, which I already exhibited during my studies. J.C. Leyendecker was always a great example for me, but because it was the eighties, I was also a big fan of the fashion illustrator Antonio Lopez!
I have lost sight of many great illustrators in recent years, but thanks to You Tube videos like this and from Pete Beard, for example, I have dived back into the illustration world and I have met many new artists. It's amazing!! And very inspiring for my own work. Thanks.

Thank you for providing this view of illustration through the years. I live within driving distance of the Brandywine Museum, which houses a collection of original works by Howard Pyle, N. C. Wyeth, Andrew and Jamie. I’ve also seen a Maxfield Parrish original there. By the time I finish walking through this museum I feel as though I’ve entered Nirvana! Then I discovered the Norman Rockwell Museum. Wow! All of these talented artists just take my breath away.

Notice the flight of the horses in Remington's paintings as indicated through their shadows, while in their pursuit. Shadows play an important element in depicting images, such as in Remington's horse falling down the cliff. They also hold the image together as when the lead horse rears up in fearful suspense as the stage coach horses, come to a full stop halt, two lanterns, two stars, two white markings on lead horses. Notice with NC Wyeth the direction of light through the trees as Robin Hood's Merry men are ready to fire their arrows in the same direction, giving force to the drama. The Giant in the clouds, while in his wake, the wind blows the little girl's skirt as the line leads to the pail in her hand, her perspective fitting both the motion and angle of the breeze. Or the King framed by the knight's lance. This is the magic of their vision, as they convey these images to you, and you feel every wisp of it, whether you want to or not.

Why are the artist's name and the picture title in such tiny print? Not viewer friendly, if you have difficulty reading the text.
