Thank you for saying this about CT stick. I’ve seen so many positive reviews and I want to post “nah, girl. You look metallic. Hard pass”.
I like this kind of review too. You really shine when you start comparing, contrasting and making suggestions with products. Multiple products makes way for a whole new conversation.
Thank you! I might buy the CT stick during the next Sephora sale. I am using and LOVING the Fenty stick foundation!!! I’m 52 years old with normal to dry skin. The Fenty stick is so nice. The closest thing to the Fenty stick foundation, that I have found, is the Salt New York Sneaky Balm. Great products for mature or normal to dry skin.
I am so glad you talked about the CT stick, I had already decided it was just the name, not the product.
Shelbey, great review of these three products. Its always nice to watch someone you trust so that I'm not wasting money and time, running around to find it. I can't order the correct color online most of the time. Have a great weekend!❤️
Just wanted to say what an amazing job you did on your collab with MOB beauty eyeshadows. I got both colors. Love them. Know this has nothing to do with this video, but I'm just saying. Thanks!!❤
Love your videos! You probably have enough stick foundations at this point to do a complexion stick showdown (after trying Tom ford, Westman Atelier, Merit and Basma, I am definitely team Basma!).
Would love if you did an updated brush video- I see you use your makeup by Mario F4 (?) brush a lot! ❤
I’ve only tried the ABH one out of those but as I do have dry, more mature skin, I really do like it. It feels more like skincare than makeup which I love that about it while providing a light coverage which I prefer most of the time. Thank you for the 411 on the other 2 products. Those will be a pass for me. 😊
I am so, so, so over CT and all the glow hype.
Can’t wait to hear you review the Ciele foundation stick! I am so drawn to it. 💚
Great review thank you My fav stick foundation is the Lancôme Teinte Idole foundation on my 73 young skin, I also use a darker color as a bronzer
@@maryabdel-malik656 yes this is a fantastic one too!!!
It was very helpful to have you compare these products. It's getting more difficult to know what to purchase now, the marketing is crazy. Thanks Shelbey!
Enjoyed this little round up soo much!! Wow that CT skin tint is glowwwy, glad I did not go there😂😂 The ABH stick is the only one that interests me at all…But that being said, I’m picking up the Basma foundation stick first…This one just sounds so nice and I know you love it for normal/dry skin!! Great video Shelbey!!
Thank you for reviewing Ilia!
I've been wearing Bobbie Brown foundation stick for many years because it's a perfect color match for my skin and very creamy. I used to always wear Porcelain, but I retired just as Covid was getting heavy out there, and after being home a lot more than before, I'm even paler than I used to be. Now I get it in Alabaster, which is perfect on me now, the lightest shade. I get it when it's on sale in the Spring. I use it as a concealer too. Other foundation sticks don't have a perfect shade for me, not like this. I'll stick with what works!
I LOVE the fenty skin tint stick, blurs and makes the skin look so good, perfect amount of light coverage. I hated the eaze drops and surprised by how much I ended up loving the stick.
I love the Anastasia, it looks glowy and like satin at the same time.
Hi! I personally ❤ the CT stick, for under my base. A beautiful glow peaks thru and it feels amazing applying. I can see why it’s not everyone’s cup of tea, I have normal skin so it doesn’t get too dewy on me.
I can even wear it alone if I set it with a powder. I agree about the ABH, that’s a nice one. The Ilia I need to play around with more, I didn’t feel like the glide going on was very smooth.
I think the Lancôme foundation stick is 1 of the best out there! 😊
Have a great day. ❤ 8:18
Good in depth reviews. Appreciate that!
I can't remember if you have tried Basma's stick foundation? I'd love your thoughts on that one too. Maybe I'll try the ABH stick based on your review today - thank you! :)
I have used it several times in videos - just search my name and “basma” and it will pull up. Love that one ❤
Aw, thank you!
I needed to find someone with similar colouring so I could match my skin with foundations, especially online. 😂
Nightmare. Even when I send a photo it's wrong. Thanks for being real!
Setting spray will help keep those in for combo or oily skin.
Same thoughts about the CT stick, think it's been mismarketed and pleased I didn't buy it. Also not a huge fan of Flawless Filter. I do like the ILIA stick, find it works well for me as a medium coverage foundation.
Compare Basma and Anastasia?
I'd love her thoughts on Basma! I want to try that one next - I have dry skin.
Yes!
More coverage and a lighter feel with Basma - in my opinion!
I loved Bare Minerals' stick foundation, but they seem to have discontinued it.😔
Thank you, great review. Could you please give some colour suggestions , eyes and lips for a strawberry blonde like me. How do you make up a red head. You looked beautiful today.
Hi Shelbey, Anastasia Beauty Balm sounds like a good choice to me, thank you so much for trying it out. Please review Charlott Tilbury lipsticks such as Wedding Bells and Very Victoria, if possible :) Since we have similar skin tones I really appreciate seeing how they look on you. Also if you have some super light powder or cream blushes for a no-make-up option, please review a couple of them :) As always thank you!
I’m fair and I love Very Victoria! Bet you would like it if you like mauve tones. 😊
I powder my skin tint to take down the shine.
Hello beautiful Shelbey 😍
Love the Tom Ford foundation stick (rip)
💙
I love what I can see if your top? Can you share where it’s from?
I like the Fenty one, but I don't feel like I get enough product for the price. Merit is...ok, but with that one I found my skin has to be extremely moisturized for good coverage. I stopped purchasing anything from CT a while back.
I agree! 40yr F and find merit to be drying unless I really hydrate in layers but mostly use as spot concealer only. Ilia serum gets too oily. I’ve fallen in absolute love with the neutrogena sensitive skin serum foundation and radiant primer + serum. That combo gives light/medium coverage and everyone says I look youthful and glowing. ☺️ In summer o do have to set under eyes and t zone.

Shelby, it's Ava! Just stopping by. Just wanted to say hi. It's been way too long. Hope you're well, bye!
I betcha you were raised in the south....where?
Serum foundations are not for me.
Too many layers for me.
