I'm not sure what issues you're hitting here, but it works perfectly for me on Arch with latest kernel/mesa. Games, AI, video encode, all of it works correctly.
not sure, then... I'm certainly going to keep at it, of course.
I wonder if A580 is any better ...
in terms of those drivers, I would doubt it. can't say for sure tho
