Speaking as someone from the Northern Territory. We don't have commodo dragons in the wild in Australia
Yes but it is hot, very hot, or extremely fucking hot.
Nah huge fucking Goanna thingies
Commodo is found in Indonesia
@@alisonholland7531 race horse goanas
@@SeanCleverlywell not really if your used too it😅
I’ve just noticed he said “they’re really unpredictable because they always attack first” about the cassowary immediately contradicting himself
In relation to the big lizards of Australia, the common name is the Goanna, the species are of the Varanus genus. Perentie is the largest. About 80 species are known in the Varanus genus and 25 are found in Australia. The Komodo Dragon is one of the species but does not live in Australia
He said Komodo Dragons don't live in Australia, when you were busy looking up Kilo's to Pounds difference.
True Australians don't have basements
The perenti is an Australian relative of the komodo dragon. It's much smaller and not aggressive to humans.
Australia once had magalania, which is a giant version of Komodo dragons that the early Aboriginals encountered.
No we only have most of the worlds monitor lizards, which are smaller but really cool creatures
I have lived in Aus ALL my 26 years of life and have never come across a snake in my house or even on a walk. They really are not going to be common to see unless you go somewhere extremely bushy in summer. Also most of the spiders we see in our homes are daddy long legs, red backs and huntsman.
ALSO Australia has some of the best beaches in the world, I cannot believe how incorrect that “reason” was
I grew up in regional NSW and maybe saw one
I seen plenty of snakes in Western Australia my primary school in Spring and Summer would get pythons hiding under the building
I feel like you're a city person mate
nope i actually live with nobody behind me, just farmland and never seen one in my backyard. I bet theyre around but theyre not looking for humans@@kitsunekage1313
I live in Perth not far from the city and I see dugites frequently.
Ha, I live in Australia and as soon as he said f spiders a daddy long on cue dropped down right next to my head and me the shit out. I know it can't hurt me but still
Steve Pitt I’m Aussie too
I have baby daddy long leg climbing on me and I find them so cute. I'm Aussie too btw.
Many thousands of years ago the "komodo dragons" were in Australia. Also they have just discovered they actually DO have venom too. Take care guys

Australia
Perenties are called goannas here. They are large lizards but very shy and no harm. See them often when you go hiking in the bush. They usually race up a tree for safety when encountered. Certainly not dangerous.
Komodo Dragon is a native to four Indonesian Islands, but it share a common ancestor with Australian Monitor Lizards. Much of Eastern Indonesia is on the Australian continental Plate, known as Sahul, all the islands east of Bali, the island of Papua and continent of Australia make up Sahul. Bali is on the Asiatic continental plate.
no we don't have the commodo dragon or the brown recluce spider
Brown recluce spider isnt from Australia but it does live here, i'v got a big ass scar on my back leg from being bitten by one in motel room in Ballarat Victoria back in 1996. Narsty little fuckers they are
@@ongie9736 oh god now I ain’t staying I’m any hotel as I live in Ballarat. Farrrkkk thattt
@@aussiebattler96 ' haha... do you really?
@@ongie9736 haha sure do what a coincidence.
@@aussiebattler96 ' haha... bloody hell!
Brown reclus is American, I think u mean redback, hunsman or funnel web
Komodo dragons are not in australia and before this video I'd never heard of that other lizard.
apparently research shows by fossil evidence that komodo dragons could have evolved from Australia, before spreading to Indonesia. Don't know if thats true tho
Perentie is a large Australian lizard -it is a large type of Goanna. They can grow to 3 metres but you are unlikely to meet one except in the outback.
These large lizards are all monitor lizards. The largest is the Komodo (yes, from Indonesia). But the Perentie does exist; it's just not as large as a Komodo. They're also not anywhere near where tourists would travel.
The largest lizard used to live in Australia over 50,000 years ago. This was the Megalania, which was 2 to 3 times the length of a Komodo dragon.
northern / middle ish of australia has 'Goanna' not komodo dragon or perentie, oh and we have no problem eating them haha think about that ;), they actually taste pretty good (you generally fillet them like a fish and cook em over a fire) taste kinda like a steaky chicken and have this awesome layer of fat along the sides, to be honest im getting kinda hungry thinking about it haha
Perentie is supposed to be the largest monitor lizard or goanna in Australia but what they showed was a Komodo dragon
Kamodo dragons are from Indonesia. But they have been known to, on EXTREMERLY rare occasions, swim across to Aus to the coast of the Northern Territory. That's about it though.
In Australia live all kindz of bearded dragons.
The Largest Goanna ever found was 1.5 Metres long & weighed around 60Kg's. The average Komodo Dragon is around 3 Metres long & weighs around 100Kg's. They are in the same family. But that is where it ends.
Komodo dragons have really toxic mouth bacteria, that's what that idiot was talking about.
We do have a large lizard called a Goanna. They are harmless and would as soon attack your chickens than they would you.
Australia has water dragons. I lived in Byron Bay in a hostel and there were lots of them. They were very friendly.
about the komodo dragons, yes for a long time we did believe that they arent venomous but the bacteria in their mouth is so bad that you get a very bad infection but they actually disproved it a while ago, i cant remember when but like 10-20 years ago or whatever and they do infact kill with venom and not bacteria, just figured i'd point it out, i dont know if someone else already have
Australia has the Bunggara lizard there’s plenty around my job site in the Pilbara WA
Fire Ants came from America
Goannas are perentie lizards. Big, can grow up to 6 feet (2 metres) but no where as big as Komodo. Komodos live on a few islands in Indonesia. I've actually have been to Komodo island.
Welcome to how Africa is talked about, lions eating people in the capital city hehehe it's insane.
they are in good company with aligator as there is an Aligator River in the NT - must have named by a Pom!
Issac is a god of the land down under alongside Steve Irwin
i live in Queensland and here we do have commodo dragons, when i was young like more than 7 years ago, i was camping with my family and two kept ripping up our trash bags so my mothers friends partner at the time killed it with an axe...worst camping trip ever and no not because of that experience but the leeches were everywhere and hell my sister had one on her lip, my mother friend got one that literally crawled under her skin and she had to go home and have a shower and i think literally burn the fucker out
Funnel web spider, Inland Taipan the most venomous snake in the world though you’ve got more chance of getting run over by a London bus than being bitten by a Taipan in Australia.
No! Komodo are from Indonesia. Australia has parentis and lace monitors which are basically large lizards. Most Aussie animals, spiders and snakes don’t want to be anywhere near people and will only attack if threatened or cornered.
The Disney show is Jessie
we dont have komodo's here but have fossils of its ancestor... Megalania so they once lived here before landmass split.
I'm convinced the guy that made that video just made it so bad just too piss us off lol
They’re from Indonesia and huge Australia have goannas they’re our biggest monitors/lizards.
We don't have commodo dragons here. We have goannas . They are not deadly. The Golapagus Islands are famous for Commodo dragons.
The most venomous snakes here in Australia is the death adder and black bellied snake and the inland Taipan and coastal Taipan and great white sharks and crocodiles
I kill most tiny spiders with my bare hands
Brown recluse spiders are from America.
people go on fishing trips to indo when the weathers good thats how close
7:57 Ashtyn clearly doesn’t know that alligators don’t live in AUS
i would be surprised if she knew the sun goes down at night.
Or maybe she put her palm up knowing alligators are American
@@XaviRonaldo0 definetly not, she probably doesn’t even know that you can see you nose all the time
Im one of those people that think it stupid to try and type first in the comments of a video, but the moment I noticed that there were no comments for this video, I wanted to type first.
Hypocrit
I heard a comment from a Pom "Australia has ten thousand beaches and the worst one is better than the best English one.
Komodo Dragons come from Komodo which is an Indonesian Island.
brown recluse are not native to australia, the two main spiders to avoid are the red back which is similar to your black widow, and the funnel web which is the most venomous spider in the world, there are antivenoms available for all deadly snakes and spiders so deaths are rare. Australia has 12,000 beaches on the mainland and 8222 islands we absolutely have beaches as good or better than anywhere else in the world.
cassowarys live in the daintree rainforest in far north queensland. most australians will never see a cassowary outside of a zoo. fire ants aren't native to australia if they're found they're eradicated. the perentie is the largest goanna (monitor lizard) in australia and can grow over 8' long monitor lizards are venomous their mouths are very clean apart from after eating carrion.
there are NO Kamodo dragons in Australia. A Perentie is a goanna in the western desert 3-6 feet long pretty much harmless.
Taipan and Brown snakes top two in the world but you have chance of being run over by truck. Funnel Web Spider lived in Australia all my life never seen a Taipan or a Funnel Web spider.
They obviously haven't seen an Emu disembowel a dog.
The Australian lizard is the Lace Monitor.
Use have already posted this video before
Yep his a top bloke
We don't haver Komoto Dragons in Australia. They probably saw this pommy video and were too scared !
Bad beaches struck a nerve
Most of the film snips in the list weren't even in Australia - :D
No Komodo Dragons in Australia,, Perinti lizard's are an Australian lizard but are only half the size of a Komodo Dragon
Repeated video.
our largest lizards a goanna for cryin out loud!
and no ones ever been eaten by one that I know of!
usually they run like fuck if you get within 10 feet of them, run away from you!
Why are you reposting the same videos again?
Australian houses do not have basement.
That was hilarious
Hahaha we lost a Prime Minister who went swimming on his own and was never seen again. Harold Holt. Look him up…..
migrated!! its to far for them to swim and they dont fly!
We have Big Goanna's or Monitor Lizards which are Yes very big but they are NOT kamoto Dragons... and like most things, if you don't fuck with it then it won't fuck with you.
Woooo!
Komodo dragons live in Indonesia on the island of komodo
Probably a repost due to some issue that hasn’t come to light from a commenters perspective.
If kamodos tryed migrating to aus the just get eaten bye crocs
Forgive my American public education but I was under the impression that KOMODO dragons were from the island of KOMODO in Indonesia.
No commodo dragons in Australia
I've told you there's no Commodo dragons in Australia
Are they USA or UK
They way they say indonesia
Yeah Issac
We have 21 out of the 25 most venoms snakes in the world
I mean, if a Karren shows up I'd call her a 'Perrentie'
Yeah. They don’t annoy you. There not everywhere. Americans worry so much. Australia 🇦🇺 has the most beautiful and unique. It takes 30 years if you go to to a beach everyday. Fact. We have the flying doctors services there are vaccination. It’s quite low death rate for spider and snakes. Indonesia is very different. You visit Bali and NZ when you visit Australia 🇦🇺
We live in the best little corner of the world mate.
If I feel danger then I might bite you or at least thump you so why shouldn't a spider or a snake. A red bellied blacksnake will slither over your foot to get away from you. They are about as non-aggressive as you can get (until provoked).
No Komodo dragons just big Goan as.
The only Komodo Dragons in Australia are in zoos
no komodo dragons in Australia
, not ever
The reason why I wouldn't visit Australia is the people there. England will always be number 1.
There is now such thing as that lizard in Australia. Ok
THERE ARE NO COMMODO DRAGONS IN AUSTRALIA OKAY.
You should read all comments here
um did he just go from 9 too 7 and back too eight again lol
one more reason added to Hate sepo's.. correct spelling, it's a kiwi word. yeah I'm a kiwi, lived her in Oz for like 46 years...
If you’re able to put pictures up I can send you pictures of dingoes roaming around the outback Roadhouse just coming in to get water as the animals have worked out that we do have water and it’s easy to get as there is very bad drought very unique to drive in the Roadhouse in the outback and the dingoes are drinking out of the window washer buckets I also have videos of it going on which is quite good to watch the show my could not put up video on your site
"Australia has lots of dangerous animals " don't know about U mate, but I'd rather fight a spider then a fucking bear
Those lizards can not cross water ok, so those lizards exist here.ok ok ok
and we dont call it a stinging brush we call it a stinging nettle!!!!!! and did you know that the daddy long legs is the most venomous spider on the planet but they cant hurt you cause your skin is too tough for them to bite through!!!!!! a perentie is actually native to australia its the largest monitor lizard or goanna and its the fourth largest living lizard on earth!!!!!!
Report this as misleading or re use content so it and RUclips will delete this video.
High taxes
