No just warm for everything and assassination for summer
He’s not even exaggerating, 30 degrees Celsius is actually just a summer breeze. I can confirm this I’m from Victoria
Yeah last week it was 30 and I thought it was 25
40 degrees than an hour later its pissing down rain and 20
Remember when in 2017 it was like 47 degrees in sydney oml

Just wanna point out that in January we had 50c days, where the nights were 35c, i've got a screenshot of the weather at 3am one day and it was hot enough to goto the beach and not catch a cold.
just a bit of banter, between us poms and the aussies. it is a two way thing.when my aussie cousins came over i was laughing at them for wearing scarves to a temperature that had me in short sleeves
Luckily for me the rest of the world thinks the UK is England.... so here in Cymru Wales we are safe from criticism...lol ; -)

17C is one degree less than I set my aircon to in Summer. (NZ, in a 30-40C town)
And having aircon is still a treat, still feels novel.
17C is like winter here
I was getting sent to school in 43C heat. And we had to wear WOOLEN skirts, and our classrooms had one squeaky fan and NO aircon. XD
Worst types of days
I know how you feel, that's the common uniform for schools
when was this, 1950s?
@@justawheeliebin3512I graduated high school in 2015 so this semi-torture would still be happening :(
My old school had a fully tin building with no aircon, where it was hotter inside than outside and we were only ever allowed the fans on low because otherwise "we got to loud"
I love the seat belt analogy.. can relate.
Also crossing the road to the beach and having to run down the beach to the water for some reprieve, coz fuck that sand gets hot on a 40°c day.
It's ok, we can take it! This is typical Aussie - English stuff. No harm in it
After 3 weeks of 40degree plus todays the houses and streets dont cool down over night. Night time temps of high 20s means thr next day has a running start on burning the shit out of you.
I live in Far North Queensland (Cairns) and we think its freezing when in winter we get 20C overnight (68F) and we usually get 39 ish (102F) in summer with SUPER high humidity.
He did research and still confused the British flag for the English flag
Lmao ikr
Yeah I'm English and he's not wrong.. most of the English were very negative about the weather. I live in Australia now but I can handle the weather it's very hot but such a better country. The idea temperature would be like 30°c
Good on ya mate hope your enjoying Australia 🇦🇺🇦🇺💪💪
I'm English and i think his videos are brilliant
Watching this video today, I know I'm late to the party, but it was 41c with afternoon rain.
Yeah i'd go with that last statement, we do need to stop moaning about the weather. It did get up to 40 a couple of times this year and everyone lost their shit again. It never bothers me, i've got back & front windows so i get a through breeze & just take the duvet out of it's cover to sleep. It's fine. We're not set up for it longterm coz noone has air con - we literally do not need it 99% of the time - so that's why people die in the 'heatwaves' there's just no escape from heat that does come out of nowhere and is unusual to us. Still - no excuses for moaning about it. Frankly there's nowhere i'd rather be on a gorgeous hot summer day than Yorkshire, preferably at the beach. It'll soon be raining stair rods again, so we should ALWAYS make the most of it when it's nice.
I like around 21°C. My twin bro married an English lady,, lives there. He said at 25°C they call it a heatwave, and older folk are dying. Our summer is in the high 30's all the time, sometimes higher. If it gets hot, wear loose cotton clothes, put a water sprayer in the fridge, spray your face and clothes and put it back in and lay spread eagled on the couch wait for your clothes to dry, then do that again. We don't have aircon here, many folks do, too exy for me though. 44°C is too darn hot to do anything, you have to do stuff before brekky, or after dark, if it cools down. Eating a big meal is out of the question. Salads are good without the dressing or mayo. Down south in the snowfields, folks eat more or get skinny.
Yes we do have vegemite sangas. Untoasted bread for lunches. A little goes a long way. Kids like tiger toast, with strips of cheddar on them, melted under a grill. My sister loves cottage cheese on her vegemite toast, I prefer avocado. We start babies with a little bit in their mashed vegetables. Some get some on a teaspoon and swirl in hot water until they get the right colour for a tea or a broth. The yeast extract, is made with the hops left after making beer. It is actually quite nutritious.
Yeah but... there is no A/C in domestic homes in the UK so... we get no break from very warm temps. Plus, what no-one is addressing is the fact that the UK is an OCEANIC CLIMATE, so it's not the level of heat per se, it's the intense humidity that comes with it, with NO A/C!
I've been to Luxor in Egypt in the last week of August and it got to about 104-113F and that was a hell of a lot more comfortable to me than our summer in the UK purely because of the lack of any humidity, Egypt having a very dry heat.
Yeah I'm an Aussie and I lived in the UK for a year and I remember wearing long sleeves and pants and people were out in shorts and tshirts. Where I am in Victoria we don't always get alot of burning hot weather but the states higher up are hotter states. We had a cool summer this year it didn't get over 40 at all. I'm a red head so I personally don't like summer
Western Australia is a good exampleof a hot climate
We do have a good banter with the brits. Remember we do still have the Union Jack on our flag so it's fair game.
Can't wait to see that stain removed from our flag..
46 c or 114f aka Aussie summer
I think everyone forgets the U.K. don’t have aircon, literally awful being inside when it’s hot here
Neither does heaps of Australia, none of the schools I went to ever had aircon and my parents never let me use the aircon cause it's too expensive
Would be a valid point if it was hot there. It doesn't rate a mention on the news in Aust. until we have 5 days in a row over 35, then the global warming proof claims start getting thrown about. We haven't even had a decent length heatwave for a number of years, as in 10 plus days over 35 or five over 40.
@@shadowkyber2510 I mentioned a point in my comment that would counter your point. I'll copy paste it here
"Do wanna point out humid levels tho. And also the fact our homes are built to trap in heat (as our lower temperatures) and also the fact that the great majority of british people dont have AC in their homes, if we are lucky we have a 20 inch circulating fan from argos worth £20."
its also windy in lots if parts here is australia so just imagine 35 to 40 degree heat with wind
Like a hot furnace blowing at you!!! It's disgusting.

Ha ha ha, cheers bloke.
Ashes 2019 should be fun. :)
We are very sarcastic people alll of this was sarcasim, we love to hate the POMS
Had to laugh. I live in the same city as Izac. When he said the average temperature in the UK in summer is 20 degrees C. It's the 4 of May, so the end of autumn in Australia, winter starts in 1st of June and it 19 degrees C hear today so 66.2 f and in summer it's consistently 40 degrees C 104 f.
Doesn't really take into account the fact that all UK houses are built to insulate heat. my house has 3 layers of bricks and 2 layers of insulation. None of us have air conditioners, and to be frank, we are best suited to overcast weather.
People in hot countries live like that all/most of the time, but here, we have had the wettest summer, the coldest winter, and the hottest summer for the last 40 years all within the last few years,, and since we spend 95% of the year between 7C (44F) and 18C (64F) - were not really good at coping with it.
The UK doesn't really have the infrastructure build for super hot or super cold temperatures. it's not particularly fun being on a bus that can be both 30C (86F) and 1C(33F).
When we do have weird horrible heatwaves it's a weird novelty, and really, the news has to tell people basic things you wouldn't hear in other climates.
It's 12C (56F) here right now at 2am, and tbh it's a bit too warm
At least it does make it that much funnier when you see Americans who've moved here trying to survive the British heatwaves they once mocked as they realise how dependent they were on A/C
Suburban Sydney hit 48.5 deg. C a few summers ago (119.3 deg. F), before the bush-fires. Our usual cycle is 'Drought (5-10 yrs) along with extreme heat, huge bush-fires, then Floods'. The high UV radiation can give you a sunburn on an overcast day, that why we are the skin cancer capital of the world and have the most advanced treatments. Yes, we are very aware of this and mostly catch it early, why we can still treat it. Sunscreen is an absolute essential.
My fav summer weather is in the fridge.
As the great man Bazza McKenzie once said:
"Pommie bastards!".
I ws in Mt Isa in far north Queensland Australia where the temp hit 43C and 100% humidity on 5 consecutive days. The A.C. was a live saver
Same in Sweden, 30 is rare.
Im from New Zealand i have to agree with the Aussie as I've been living in Australia for 26 years. Ive never seen a snake anywhere in the open or in some rural places I've only seen them in reptile parks I have seen poisonous spiders just redbacks but the old flip flops does the trick bull ants or fire ants bite you rarely come across them but the pain goes away after an hour or so it like a real bad bee sting.croc only live in the tropical North of Australia so don't go swimming up there.some big spiders like the huntsman are good they keep other pestski bugs away they look big and hairy but harmless im more afraid of the big flying cock roaches.heat here in summer is muggy and sticky and very hot but it hasn't been that bad in the last few years and Im from New Zealand where you can hide under a tree where the shade will cool you down. 45 degrees in Australia is like 120 in America causes Americans like big numbers so they uses different measurements. New Zealand sun burns you more than it does in Australia thats a fact we just don't have the sticky muggy humidity its quick and instant in New Zealand. But everything poisonous in New Zealand caught a ride in shipping containers like the Australian white tail spider and redback spider but they will kill you if you really have a bad allergic reaction but there anti venom for the bites and again nothing the good old flip flops won't fix.
Reupload? Still rewatched it. Issac is funny af
Ye it is bro.
In Western Australia, we have a town that hits nearly 50 degrees Celsius. (122 F)
Up the northern end of Aus it's humid heat. Down south where I am in Melbourne, Victoria we get dry heat in Summer.
32f to 57f are my favourites temps but only see that here in southern Australia in winter. Hottest temps I've been in was Roxby Downs about 10 years ago for a week it was over 140f in the shade and no humidity.
Thanks for sharing your reactions.. 🙏💯🙏🇭🇲
Hi I am new to your channel...I emigrated from the UK to Australia back in 1970 with my wife and 4 young children, we live in Central Victoria which is one of the coolest places to live on the mainland but yes it does get very hot in the summer time up to 46C. Melbourne gets quite a lot of rain throughout the year but we live 200 miles inland and get very little rain, as an example I can tell you truly that our Granddaughter did not see rain until she was 12 years old and that was only because we went away on a camping holiday with her down to the coastal area where they get plenty of rain, people there thought she was crazy playing in all the large puddles...lol
My house hear in West Australia is bricks and mortar. no air con. just a pedestal fan in each room to circulate the hot air. After 2 days of continual heat, the bricks stay hot and heat the house. When I get in my car which sits in the driveway, the temp is usually around 60 degree celsius. I have to leave a towel over the steering wheel and gear stick, otherwise I burn my hands driving.
Our work has a policy of sunscreen and hat if we go outdoors, even in the coller times as the uv index is brutal. Summer nightime temp averages around mid 20's, but during a heatwave, it will be around 30 degrees celsius. I feel the most for workers like roadworks, roofers and miners or any manufacturing industry in a huge shed. Their temps can get above 50degrees celsius working condintions, and they dont take a water bottle to work, the take a 10litre flask of ice that is all water by smoko and hot water by lunch.
PS you can actually fry an egg on the pavement or even the bonnet of your car in summer.
I remember days when it’s been up 45-47 degrees Celsius which is between 120-130 degrees Fahrenheit.
80-90F degrees is roughly what we get at the height of summer, and it doesn't normally get any colder than about 23F in winter. We've got an oceanic climate which doesn't get extreme. We've got the best deal weather-wise.
The hottest temperature in Minnesota in the last 10 years was 38C. A warmish summers day in this great molten land of ours mate.
we just love it when yanks check us out. Thanks .... Have a very merry and joyful Christmas.. btw it is now 30c beautiful sunshine every day. But up North 4,000 kilometres away. they just had a cyclone .... big floods. but we are used to it.. no hassles. God bless America
Hottest I've experienced here at home in Aus, was 119.6 °f . . . Which is 48.7°c 🥵
I lived in Karratha WA for a year, regularly 50oC in summer.
The reason we can't handle the heat- we aren't used to it. Same reason we can't handle snow. Most years, the weather, no matter what time of year, is 10 degrees C and pissing it down. If its anything else, we react badly.
If you want us to stop complaining about the heat, stop complaining that the sky is grey when you've been here for 2 days
Bahahahahaaha
im from sydeny and one time it got sooo hot that we were ALLOWED to stay home thats how hot it was and keep in mind that its australia so it would of been 70 degrees that day
Here in sydney we got to 49°C or 120°F last summer, so even in sydney summers are no joke
I'm from outback north Queensland (Cloncurry) and our last summer we had about 45 consecutive days over 40 degrees (104 F) and i totally love summer. So having 34 degrees for summer is a cool day.
If you wanna know the difference between Australian heat and uk/american heat.
Uk/American heat is like setting the oven to 105 with the element hidden in the back of the oven. Australian heat is like setting the oven to 105 with the element revealed on the top of the oven burning the shit out of you
Even in UK, we usually get 30c once or twice a summer, so that's no factually correct! But this summer, we've had aussie temperatures. It got to 40c in July, and we're now in a heatwave of mid thirties in August. Hottest summer ever here.
I went to Portugal when it was 40 degrees (104 in Fahrenheit) and it was nice heat! But when the humidity is 93 percent and it’s 20+ heat it sucks because the sweat doesn’t evaporate which makes it feel hotter. But I must agree We do complain a lot…
It's not so much the heat, add 90% humidity to even 32C = 89.6F and see how you feel.
My uncle lives in the outback of Australia so perth he likes to say how the road boils as it melts the tar and skin boils if exposed to long he complains that his 3 acres of practically desert sucks ass when it burns his feet through his sandles lol.
I am a 60 year old Aussie mum, who grew up learning to NEVER walk on concrete in bare feet in summer. My son was also taught this but forgot and took out the rubbish and got burn blisters on his feet. No sympathy. This summer we had only 1 day over 40, the coolest summer of my lifetime. It’s not humid here in Victoria, it’s a very dry heat, and 6 days of over 40deg is too much even for us. The steering Woburn the shit out of your hand, and in the old days vinyl seats were unbearable. Gotta love an Aussie summer!
Do wanna point out humid levels tho. And also the fact our homes are built to trap in heat (as our lower temperatures) and also the fact that the great majority of british people dont have AC in their homes, if we are lucky we have a 20 inch circulating fan from argos worth £20.

Shit, I'm in Birkdale and it never reached 49.8C in the Redlands, why are you lying like that and 98% humidity, what a bullshit artist 😠
Aussies forget that our houses are made of brick and mortar, while theirs are made of thin wood and aluminium. AND they have a/c in every household.
Also Jon and Ash, hes joking. Aussie/Brit humour is ruthless and endearing.
Our homes are also made of Brick and mortar and NO not everyone has an air con. There are also differences in weather in each state. Check your facts first.
@@debcartwright2017 Kind of missed my point dramatically.
@@debcartwright2017 Sweetheart your homes are built and designed specially for your typically hot climate... I lived in NSW for nearly two years.
Our homes are built specially for our typically cold climate. Which in turn creates a very different view and perception of heat, a 30 degree day for us is pretty gruelling while you may see 30 degrees as winter and I can tell you objectively that 30 degrees is much more pleasant in Australia than Britain... our houses are designed to keep in as much heat as possible while your houses are made to expel heat.
Those are facts.
You must think me to be a complete idiot to think that I'm unaware that a landmass as large as Australia differs in temperature... I live on an island and we have the same phenomena.
@@holdtightadele8017 ok here was YOUR POINT... our houses are made of brick and mortar while theirs are made of thin wood and aluminium - CORRECTION - Our houses are also made of brick and mortar and yes they can be made of aluminium steel but not fricken thin wood.
YOUR POINT - They have a/c in every household CORRECTION - Not every home has air-conditioning.
Again, check your facts.
By the way, I did say that all states in Australia have different climates. You would have known that living in NSW as you said. Some states such as Victoria, Adelaide, NSW and more have really cold winters where the temperatures at times get down to -3.
For someone who was born and bred in Australia, I would be more inclined to know my country than someone who lived here for 2 years.

And Isaac does not even talk like that as a matter of course, that is just his online persona, don't worry about it. Yeah, we get temperatures into the 40's every year, but those are not the average, although it is the norm out at Alice Springs, but how many of the Australian population live at Alice Springs. It is a country where 90% of the population live on the coast. As zaftra says, all good fun.
