These tips are fire. My favorite is the first one. Telling myself I already am what I'm seeking to become is a practice I wish I started earlier in life, once I got to the root of it, but I'm super thankful to have it in my toolbox now.
Absolutely, couldn't agree more! That first tip is like a secret weapon for personal growth. It's amazing how shifting our mindset and affirming our identity in alignment with our goals can create such a powerful ripple effect. It's never too late to adopt these practices, and the fact that you've incorporated them into your life now is a testament to your commitment to self-improvement. What other tips have you found particularly impactful in your own toolbox? Sharing insights is like passing along sparks of inspiration! 🔥✨
Something that helps me is thinking of my future self. For example, I look at a great piece by a great artist and I think "Wow, in the future, I will be able to do that as well!" And I think about how my future self will be thankful that I stuck to drawing. Also, I know that practicing art takes a long time. But your life is longer than the 1-2 years you need to become decent. If you draw and have fun doing it, there is a good chance you will do it as long as you can. You will always learn something new. Stay in there
Absolutely! It’s all about envisioning your future self and staying determined to practice. And it’s always important to remind yourself to draw for fun and for the joy of creating! What do you like to draw??
@@the_artistic_avenger Yes, absolutely. I am currently learning to draw heads/faces from different angles. I'm pretty much at the complete beginning. I first learned shapes and lines, that stuff. Of course, one day, I'd like to be able to draw everything. But for now, I focus on drawing characters in a Manga/Anime style, because that's something I really enjoy doing. I also try to challenge myself all the time, drawing things where I'm certain that they are still difficult, but aren't too advanced either. And honestly, It just makes me happy to draw and slowly get better :)
That’s awesome! If you’re looking for additional resources I recommend, “Drawing The Head & Figure” by Jack Hamm and “How to Draw Manga” by Ben Dunn. Fantastic books! And if you’re ever looking for more guidance and feedback, I’m always here to help!
Yes! Definitely be kind to yourself and embrace your passions 🙌🏻 Better to not let your passion die out than let the naysayers determine your destiny 😎

Great tips. I've never considered warming up before drawing, and now the importance of doing so is eye opening!
Glad it was helpful!
