Nice review and actually seems like a nice flight. I prefer the mini-cabins when they are available as they just seem more "cozy" to me and a bit more quiet than the "main cabin". Your breakfast looked much better than normal but then it seemed to be a combination of two meals. All in all, a pleasant flight for you. It's about time you had a decent experience on Air Canada. 🤣. Take care and have a pleasant and rewarding week.

Thank you for this report. We will be flying Atlanta to Dubai via YYZ in about 3 weeks. Our 787 was switched to a 773 months ago, we are in Business, and I chose the middle/rear cabin for its size. I've heard really bad stories about Air Canada service, your videos showed me what I wanted to see: Clean aircraft, decent 1-2-1 business class seating with lie flat bedding (and mattress cover!?), reasonable menu. Having had a hellacious experience at YYZ last June heading out to Vancouver, we've girded out loins, but at least we are in international transit. I'm guessing arrival in Terminal 1/departure Terminal 1. My only complaint from what you've presented was the scotch they serve - no single malt. Lord, what is air transportation coming to these days. Again, thanks, happy flying.

International transit through YYZ should be pretty seamless :) There are reports of the Signature Suite getting quite busy as well, but they will have a better option for scotch 😛 try to sneak in a flask and do a quick fill up before the flight! 😉 safe travels!

For sure wide body J is the way to fly transcon. Actually prefer the AC A330 J seat - there's too much plastic bulk on the 777 seat due to the extra width of the cabin. And for Y seat, A330 all the way!!

Hi! Just flew from Seoul to Vancouver on Air Canada Business Class. 10k. I also preferred the secondary smaller seating for business class

Hi Juju! Awesome how did you like the flight? Theres definitely less chance of snoring neighbours in the smaller mini-cabin 😛

Looked like a great flight 👍🏻. Meal looked very tasty and I assumed filling 😋😋. Just think what you have to look forward to with the latest PR announcement from Air Canada that they will be enhancing their ground and inflight services 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

The A320 is a much smaller aircraft so there should be a big difference

Hello, was your flight from Toronto Pearson to San Francisco considered domestic flight to you? Did you check into the United States immigration at the Toronto Pearson Airport? It has always been tricky with regards to baggage claim and domestic/international check in if you live and travel from in the United States to Canada. When we travel from the United States as US citizen to a city in Canada, it is still considered domestic until you check in again at the International gate. Same with coming back to the US from international. If we layover in Canada with the final destination to one of the US cities, then we are suppose to check into US Immigration at that Canada airport.

Yeah if you depart from Toronto, which has a US Pre Clearance Immigration available at the airport, you will arrive into domestic terminal in US, and you will not have to simply walk out or transit to your US connection if any.

Is there any message between seats feature? I will be travelling with my mum who will be seated in front of me?

Are you familiar with Vancouver Airport? I will be arriving from a Australia on air Canada business class and going onto new York about 2 hours later. Will we do customs and immigration and collect baggage in Vancouver and then recheck in to fly on? I’m assuming they will give all our tickets and boarding .passes here in Australia and then we do a baggage drop again at Vancouver to go onto NYC

Hi, you shouldn't have to recheck your bags, but there will be a separate security check you will go through in order to reach the U.S. bound gates. More details can be found here :)

Unfortunately no amenity kits on most transcontinental flights. Theres a chance they might provide it on red eye flights though :)

Really bad experience in air Canada ,Due to their mistake I lost my 10000$ in tickets and now they don't provide me new tickets , secondly they dint provide us hotel at Toronto airport while weather was not good and 1 days delay was there .we have to spent whole day for just requesting them for hotel stay .I ensure in future while buying tickets with Aircanada .after paying lots of money if customer have to bag for service how can we say these is good management .really third quality management i have ever seen in my life

For what it's worth, when I was a lad in the '70s, Schiphol was an absolute dream to fly into and out of. Then again, so was JFK.
