Yes, this questions isn't for this video but please help me, Boss hasn't been able to help me, my local music store can't help me. . I want to use my android galaxy tablet A that has Song Pro on it to control the songs on the RC 600. I need to know what product I need and how to hook it up to make it work... Because of you I've bought the RC 600(thank you) , set up pedals, the midi unit to control the drums, etc, etc, so much. I hope you can help me with this one.. Thanks in advance.

Firstly thank you for the kind words.
So the question is, do you have audio coming from the app that you want in the RC-600 (like. Backing track) or do you just want it to work like a controller? If it’s just midi then the Tablet should have Bluetooth and you can get a Bluetooth dongle like a Widi Master. Alternatively you can control midi via usb. So you would need a USB-B to (what ever cable your tablet takes).
First time looper buyer. Which is easier to use? Sheeran X or Boss RC 600?
Easier to use is down to workflow.
The RC-600 is more customisable at the moment. The Sheeran Looper X is adopting a muting style and the FX are assigned to each track instead of the inputs.
But the pedals are amazing to use on the Sheeran looper. Both are built like a tank.

@@JohnPaulMusicUK First time looper user & buyer. I don’t have a workflow. I just want a unit that is the easiest to learn and use. And I don’t want to start with one that has limitations which force me to trade up if I want to go further. I do have a time constraint, however: I’m 80! When will I run out of time, I do not know! I just wanna have some fun before I run out of time! Old, but not dead………Yet!
Then go with the Sheeran X.
Easiest by far to program up and just play with better nicer buttons and a great touch screen interface instead of jumping around menus.

Bet a Sheeran looper can't do this 😁
Actually, the looper X (and HRLB) can and has a dedicated Click track that you can assign to any of the 4 tracks or the headphones specifically.. and it’s actually easier to setup thanks to the touch screen 😬😬😬
@JohnPaulMusicUK that's good 👍 and goes some small way to justify the extortionate price tag
Honestly, the price tag is steep but the interface of the touch screen on the HRLB is epic so that mixed with the pedals.
However the biggest one for me atm is the feature that the FX are linked to the track, not the input. They need to change that.
IMHO, the touch screen is a bit gimmicky, if they really thought about it, and I hope boss do, they could have used Bluetooth functionality like moden amp simulators like the nux mighty space and allowed the user to use a smart phone or tablet to adjust parameters and settings +presetts, putting the control at a reasonable height and keeping the cost of the unit down 😁👍
I suppose the problem with that is you need a smartphone, which is rare not to have one but it means then there is an app with android and iOS to keep up to date with software updates and more hassle. I actually like the idea taken from Mackie Showbox speaker with a mixer that has a breakaway idea with a Cat5 cable. Do that with a dedicated touch screen that you can take off and move to the mic stand. Now you’re talking!
