I loved this one. Though I think I may be watching to many of these videos as I find myself sometimes just singing the Dirty Secrets song out loud. Lol 😂
Love the blue crazing. Take that green horse shoe bottle with you to the race track. Never mind the rare ginger beer bottle was your prize for finding the green horseshoe and (7) bottle.
Spooky is the only way to describe every doll’s head that is dug up on every bottle digging hunt. Urgh.!!!!!! Greetings from Jo in Wolverhampton. xxxxxxx
Watching you from Seattle, Washington state, up next to Alaska, USA, May God Bless you and Scotland, and God Bless the USA, I love to hear you talk, just crazy about the accent !! I'm74 years old now, and disabeled, but when I watch you, I'm transported to Scotland, thank you sweetie for the escape and thank you for making me smile, I wish I was young again like you !!!! Keep up the good works !!!
Thanks Debbie. The (few) complaints about the dancing parts have dried up... for now! I can't get my head around why anyone would be upset by someone dancing with joy about an exciting find! That's the internet though, I guess! If you give some folks a pure ray of sunshine, they'd complain about it being too bright! Ha! Anyway - glad you enjoyed it - just been away filming some more! My list of repair jobs is getting longer by the week - love it! Willie :)
Congratulations on your rare find. I already know you will do an amazing repair job. Look at all the practice you have had. Now your ready for the big time repair. Have fun with it take your time. If it's not done next week, eh we aren't going anywhere...lol
Super day, full of belters! Your repairs are always so well done, so, I look forward to seeing that rare bottle standing proud and whole again. Great job, Willie!
Thank you for the interesting history of the talented Angelica Kauffman. Loved the doll's head and the shots of the beautiful flowers blooming in addition to your digging discoveries.
Brilliant Willie, loved the ''belter boogies''! The restoration was amazing. I usually say, ''off to see Sarah''! Saw her video earlier and it was a belter!! Regards, John.
Thanks John - there were so many belters in this episode that I had a good night's sleep with the digging and boogying! Glad you enjoyed Sarah's video too. Willie :)
Thanks Alana - as you pointed out, there is a crazy amount of work goes into making these videos! But it's worth it when people are enjoying them, such as yourself. Willie :)
I enjoy seeing how you take on the challenge of repairing damaged finds. This was an excellent haul and I think you're doing an excellent job. Well done!
Old disabled house bound dusty rusty rockhound here: Hello from Michigan, U.S.A. An outstanding video. I especially liked the wild 💐 flowers...the " pheasant eyes" being my favorite of the antique varietal bulb flowers.
delighted your super-rare GB is a local - about as good as it gets. you should ring the number and let them know you've found their bottle ;-) the cobalt is a gem tho, almost certainly castor oil. I have a similar example absolutely loaded with huge bubbles, really crudely made with a big raised seam and wonky base as if the mould wasn't closed over properly or was just really worn. probably my favourite bottle.
That ginger is amazing! A lot of pottery restorers useca dremel along cracks in pottery to create a little channel that they can fill to make the cracks seemingly disappear. You might find another of those bottles in future too, so fingers crossed!
A cliffhanger? Noooo! 😋 Some lovely finds especially the beautiful trinket box lid and the cobalt blue bottle. I wonder what the little jug with the screw top was used for? A shaker of some sort? The special sand for drying writing ink maybe? Looking forward to next week to see your bottle finished 🙂
You know who would love the creepy doll's face? Alex, from Northern Mudlarkers. LOL Really good bottle finds and absolute belters. Those cream lots are so nice, I may have to get one from your store. The bottle you restored came out nice, good job!
I like how you clean the bottles and show them straight away That’s cool Mate Plus the bird calls in the background are unreal I’m trying to imagine what types they are
Love the bluebottle. Brilliant color! The doll head has escaped from the depths of hell…. However, I’m sure Kate and Fleur would make it look beautiful! You sure found a lot of belters! Did you figure out what the green jar/cup with the broken handle is? I enjoyed hearing about the artist. She was amazing! Funny comment regarding Will Smith! What a ding dong! Congratulations on rare ginger bottle. How stoked are you!! I’ll enjoy my ink bottles and other treasures in the near future! Great show!
Fantastic finds and I just love that you found out the history of that trinket lid . And your repair of the ginger beer bottle is amazing thanks for sharing xx
Willie’s Magic Treasure Tip just keeps on giving! Good luck on your repair it’s a lovely bottle! And I really really liked the blue castor oil or salad dressing bottle it is stunning!💕💕WV🇺🇸
Hi Lynette, It really does, right?! I can count on the fingers of one hand the times I left there feeling a wee bit disappointed! It delivers again and again! The repair is complete, and I'm happy with it. It'll be included this week. :) Willie :)
Oh wow! the blue oil bottle is gorgeous and I love the 'Will Smith' bottle with the heart! The lid is a beauty and thanks so much for the history behind the picture, I am thrilled that a Woman is the artist, you don't hear much about female artists from that period. The ginger beer is fab and I am looking forward to seeing it completed next week. (where would we be without Milliput?) Great video! 😀💗 x
Hi Amanda - firstly, my apologies for the late response - I've been 'off grid' in the northernmost highlands on another adventure! Just back! Absolutely agree - some special belters in this episode! I wanted to do justice to Angelica Kauffman - as you righty pointed out - far too much credit goes to men in the arts! Sarah is an incredible artist too, so Angelica's story particularly resonates with me. The ginger beer is now pride of place on its own little shelf - my rarest restoration and find so far! And yeah - good old Milliput! Glad you enjoyed! Willie :)
I like the bottles a.nd that pretty picture on the lid and the neat bottle with the heart on it. You two Re very good at what you do on pPer and bottles. From shirley from new Bern north carolina u.s.a. take care and stay well.❤🎉😅😊I am 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Willie you had better keep hold of that lucky green horseshoe 7 bottle look at all the beautiful and rare pieces that you had found after that particular lucky find. ☘️U 7
Terrific finds! Love the pictorial lid sweet scene and history! The molded glass or ceramic round jar is actually sterling silver it's a pouring decanter missing the top and handle .
Great dig, you had some really nice finds. The beer bottle re-build is coming along nicely, I can't wait to see the finished product. The small jug/pot that would have had a handle is fantastic. Is that something you would consider doing a re-build on too? I would love to see that complete. Thanks for all your hard work, it's so fun to watch and share in the excitement of the finds. 😊
That enamel painted lid was gorgeous! Thank you for the history bit on the artist. Congratulations on finding that rare ginger beer! Can't wait to see it finished, I know you'll do an amazing job on it. The wee jar thing that would've had a handle was really beautiful, I wonder what it was. Thanks Willie for another great video 🤗
One of our subscribers kindly let us know that we can do snap on that William Smith heart bottle! We found a brown one (sadly the neck is broken!) ... isn't it the most romantic bottle!!!
Willie..I’m sure I saw a bottle in my potato patch last year. You’re more than welcome to dig it over, see what you can find. Also might have seen a clay pipe in my Brussels sprouts patch. A bit of digging might unearth it. As for my broccoli, spinach, cauliflower, cabbage…who knows?
Did anyone ever tell you, that you look like the country singer, Tim McGraw, look him up online and let me know if you agree, oh on my last comment I forgot to tell you, I'm Cathy from Seattle, God Bless you and your family !!!
I am in love with your ginger beer bottle, the beautiful cobalt blue tall bottle and the awesome painted top to a trinket box! Awesome, awesome finds! I was wondering if you know anything about the green stoneware ginger beers? I have one and have searched the internet with no luck on finding anything about it. But low and behold a few episodes back Nicola White went to Scotland visiting friends and went on a lark at the beach and found the exact same one buried in the mud. So do you know anything about mine is it abundant and no one has bothered to put anything on the net or is it a rare one? If you could help me or guide me to someone that might have some info I would be really grateful!!!!

How sensible to have a brush to remove dirt from bottles. No one else in the bottle diggers online community seems to have worked this out.

Fun video. Were you able to preserve the gold on the ? lid? Loved the history bit!
