If Mk-III is the equivalent of the Strike, then I guess that makes Ryou Kira. Hell, even the personalities fit... And so does the "Cinderalla Boy"-ness of him getting attached to a rich girl!

Huckebein Mk III(Exbein) with boxer parts equipped attaches to AM Gunner and fires off a full impact cannon in the anime. The bandai HG Huckebein Mk III kit is coming out Jan 2024 too and it's on my pre-order list. Hope they follow up the boxer parts later.
@Twilightsarc. True if Shin didn't scream like hell and Legend didn't turn into grunt and became a living-doll for Kira spam beams and missles

Still, SRW series version of Destiny events is actually really good. To tell you the truth, I really like Shinn in SRW, while I hate his anime version.
It's not only the theme of the mk. III, it's also the theme of all of the alpha protagonists.
i remeber this during hte time i play Alpha on the PS1..... brings back epic memories! XD

ryoto's hucky are way~ better than other's hucky. he's 1 of my best pilot in OG2 besides arado,bullet,latooni,rei,ratsel,n sanger :D

I wonder why this isn't the Exbein Boxer Type L's default theme in OG: TMD when it was also the theme used in the trailer.
His situation is realistic at best but he actually succeeded to make HIMSELF stop fighting, something Kira can't do.
Actually having SEED factor is also not equal to being a newtype. Both Mu La Flaga and Rau (and his second clone) were the newtypes yet they did not have SEED factor.
@ZeonGundam How are Kira Yamato from Gundam SEED and SEED Destiny related to Ryoto from the OG series? Those two are different by quite a bit by personality and piloting skill.

Actualy in SEED universe there was a lot of people who has newtype characteristics, yet isnt stated to be one. Namely, Mwu, Prayer, Raw, etc
In crossovers, especialy SRW it is never touched upon and thus they did not even has NT ability for various reason not like it matters much(like seriously, the whole thing about Natural getting butthurt because the coordinator is better is too stupid when you notice that Naturals in SRW is much more impressive than any Coordinators ever)

most people seem to forget that Ryoto is from the same game tournament thing as Ryusei and Tenzan....
yeah, he played it too, apparently could never beat Tenzan but went on to become a better (and longer living) pilot anyway

I am sure that they are traditional newtypes in the crossovers only. In-universe of Gundam SEED, those with the SEED factor are the closest thing to a newtype.
Apparently there are actual new types in SEED. So, quoting a friend of a SRW streamer I was watching, SEED is closer to psychoframe in the head.
Not the theme song of Huckebeing Mk 3 in Alpha Gaiden, which you can get by save hacking. Instead you get... the intermission music.
@ZeonGundam ...I still don't seem to see how the two are connected. Ryoto is a lot kinder and compassionate than Kira and cares for Rio somewhat more, not to be rude to SEED/Destiny fans. Kira may have more piloting skill and faster reflexes, Ryoto is one that will take a lot more consideration since Rio and him are Psycho-Drivers and together both can cancel each others weaknesses. Unrivaled firepower (Black Hole Engine) and superior direct range combat combined with speed.
Actually, all Kira references (sans his relationship with Rio) are in the PS2 version.
Huckebein is no more.... and Ryoto's role has been reduced massively...... oh how i miss this theme.............

Based on the eyes, that's an Exbein.
It is an Exbein. Chen Gong's sub of the trailer confirms this.
After all, the real reason the Hucks were blown up was because they looked too much like Gundams...
Coordinator =/= New Type
Coordinator's do not have the same mental awareness, but their artifical evolution gave them improved physical abilities. Those with the SEED Factor (even naturals have it) instead could be called Newtypes.
Then what about Shiro Amada from 08th MS Team (UC), if you take into him trying to make sure no Federation or Zeon trooper kills each other?

@DarkvindFromIllier Well yeah, that's kind of how he works. He's OG's version of the typical Gundam Kid. He's naive, and inexperienced, and maybe even a little delicate, but he's also a mean little son of a bitch when you put him in a mech. He'd probably punch you in the head in person if you gave him a reason though, or try to, even if he didn't quite manage it.

Having not played OG2, I always thought Ryoto was just a standard pansy.
Then I started watching The Inspector and he started to kick copious amounts of ass with the Exbein. Manly tears were shed.

@ZeonGundam The fact that Athrun and Cagalli were pretty much hooked up all through the second half of SEED breaks that argument over its knee with a sickening "crack." As a SEED fan, I can say that SEED had potential to be good, but SEED Destiny, its sequel, botched the whole thing and thus the constant playing of devil's advocate.

BTW, I merely just joking around with Mark 4, since it would not be valid for OGs series, plus Ex Exbein is the 4rd and final generation of Huckebein series, so I believe it could not appear again by the time I post this comment.
