This model looks good painted in a camouflage scheme, as some were, right at the beginning of the last war. I believe that some were used as utility 'hacks' for a while.
Superb work on your plane taking off diorama. The Demon looks fantastic with the bare metal finish and brightly colored markings. The nicely painted aircrew figure are my favorites. The flapping scarf is a cool detail. Maybe using a clear plastic disc as the spinning propeller would have looked better....adding to the illusion of motion. Happy hobbying. Bill
You did an amazing job of this one! I've actually got this kit and was thinking of doing something similar - might have to change it up a bit now though :D
Such an small diorama but so effective.....great job on the build considering the age of the model. Brings back fond memories of childhood! Definitely would like to see more of the same ...and really enjoyed the presentation as well.
Ah, nice way to end the day, flocking tidy wee build and you know what you looked (and sounded) like you really enjoyed yourself on this one. Thanks JC.
Just wow. Very nice result. U've inspired me to make one. There are some lovely subjects in the classic Airfix range. This was a bagged kit from my childhood ?(I'm 61). Well ✔
Fantastic build and brilliant video Champion Scale Modelling! I've been looking forward to Airfix re-releasing the Bristol Bulldog & this Kit. Must get my hands on one of these!
Lovely build of this vintage kit, Jason! It so happens I recently picked up this kit rather cheaply, and your video caught my eye. I really enjoyed the simple but effective diorama base as well!
My favourite paint for the inter-war aluminized dope, is Citadel 'Mithril Silver'. Telling the bloke in our local wargames shop what I wanted it for, an aircraft (a Matchbox AW Siskin), and not elves, or whatever, rather puzzled and annoyed him. I've bought it from there ever since.
Great project. I would like to see more of these simple dioramas. The scarf on the pilot was a nice touch. If it would have been possible, a 30 knot wind sock stretched out would have conveyed forward motion also.
Very nice build! The diorama is a bit "empty" . There are some fotages of the plane with visible doors on the left side maybe for amunition/fuel to load and the reargunner to get in.. The pilots scarf is superb!
Lovely build. I like the way you have made something very effective with some simple techniques. I’ve got the new(ish) Airfix 1/72 scale Tiger Moth kit on the shelf looking at me. I think I might try a similar diorama with that.
Hey there, I really need some help to decide if I should go painting my Demon in yellow overall or if I should better leave fuselage as it is in raw metal with yellow wings. I will receive it tomorrow and need to have a clear idea about what I'm about to star doing. Thank you. Your video is wonderful and very helpful.
This is an era of aircraft I have always liked. Your setting was simple, straight forward, and unique.
Beautiful aircraft, beautiful model.
The Hawker Demon and Fury were really beautiful aircraft! 👍
Outstanding build and presentation.
From California USA.

Could also be a landing diorama. Very clever idea. Haven't seen it before. Taking the blades off might suggest a spinning prop.
Mat recommended your channel to watch another build. Nice job sir.

Got sent here by @Model Minutes who said your kit was quite attractive. Gotta say, I agree
I really wish Airfix would do newer versions of this and the Fury. Still, nicely done with this oldie!
Please do more like this. Very therapeutic.
Amazing work..!
Million thanks for sharing..

Again a excellent job on this old kit. Very enjoyable build and yes it is nice to see this type of build. Thanks
I really enjoyed this video and would like to see more. Seemed so simple with little time and much effort
Great model, love it. Although a spinning propeller would fit nicely, like the flying scarf. Great work.
The wheel marks on the grass is a very nice touch.
Good Job!

Cool. I like it !!
Some of these older kits fit better then the new ones 🍻
amazing silver paint job , really suits the model

What a lovely build and a thoroughly relaxing watch. Thank you

Brilliant idea, good luck with your build

Looks very nice :)
good job.
I recently bought this kit. Thanks for the inspiration. May I ask what you used for the rigging....?????
Nice job, like the base aswell, simple but very effective. Btw what do you use to cut your metal rods without crushing them flat?
How did you paint the inside of the cockpit AFTER assembling the model?
Fab video Jas... yep more of the same..
Those crew-figures really are streets ahead of the featureless blobs of plastic and alien creatures Airfix supply nowadays, aren't they?
So how did you actually stick it to the base to make it stand up?
He spent time explaining that in the video....

Very nice work. No way that crew is the original- they were invariably blobs back in the day.

У самолета винт надо было прозрачный сделать...типа - вращается.На ,,западе,, такие купить не проблема,под любой масштаб.
