My first view of your work. Indeed a lovely build, with solid technique throughout. You’ve a new subscriber who is looking forward to seeing your techniques for streaking from panel lines, oil/grime and hydraulic leaking goop on the undercarriage and oleos! Good on ya, mate! Thank you for improving my skill set!
Great to see your full process on building the Martlet mate. Lovely result from a nice little Airfix kit. I might have to look out for that Trumpeter scriber. Looks pretty useful.
Nice work, I had penciled those tamiya colours on my instruction sheet when I picked up this boxing, I'm glad to see they look right on a finished model :)
I can fully appreciate the building of this kit as method to kickstarting lost mojo. I do some thing very similar when I get bogged down in a big build or get lost in too much research for a project. I hope it worked for you? The result is good and thanks for posting. Andrew.
Great build and paint job really enjoyed this video. I really like the background music is there any chance you could give me some info on these tracks. ie.track titles, artistes and where to obtain them. Best wishes Vic.
I wonder if there are any kids who still build these models :) I’ve just ordered this model. It’s been 45 years since I build my last model when I was a kid in a Soviet Union. Soviet made kits were not as nice though. I am looking forward to restore my mojo.
I generally use the quick setting for 90% of jobs then the normal version for jobs that require a bit more movement and a longer drying time to ensure correct alignment; Wings, undercarriage, fuselage joins etc
I'm entirely too clumsy to build this with the landing gear down. I'd have broke the wheel carriage long before the build's completion :(( Great work though, and very informative :)
Well, I bought this exact model and.. IT JUST FELL APART, whilst putting on the thing behind the seat it kept on falling off, the seat wouldn’t fit into place, and when I took off the gearstick (no clue if that’s what it is) the top of it snapped off! Is there a reason for all of this?!
Champion Scale Modelling I watched the entire video, and nothing worked. The thing behind the seat kept on falling off and nothing would clip together, I might just buy a different model
Love these new airfix models. Building my third Wildcat.
I'd sworn off airfix, but these new ones look great. Going to give one a shot! Great build. My first kits were airfix back in the 70s.
Lovely build and an excellent video, very nice rendition of a Martlet.
A very nice little kit by Airfix, and a nice job of building. I like you're subtle weathering.
Another beaut build....nicely presented with informative commentary. Thank you!

Great vid - love the use of oil paints for the weathering....looks fantastic!
Very impressive once again. Well done. I learn a lot from your videos. Thanks.
A very nice job Mr. Champion. I to am building the Martlet from Airfix and will use your build as a guide!
Really nice build 👍
Great looking model mate 😉👍
Very good work. I do not remember Airfix Wildcat's being so detailed, (1972).
Beautiful job and always enjoy your builds

Another great job buddy!. good job with the rigging
A nice little build that, top job 👍
Compliments.... Best job!
Very good mould, it give justice to the first decent FAA fighter (at last it wasn't as the orrid Fulmar!)
Thumbs up from me !

28.44 looks like you have eight gun ports? Did Martlets have eight .0303 or four .50 machine guns? Great job by the way, love your work!
Just a quick question. When do you use the Kwikset and when do you use the extra-thin Tamiya cement?

Well I’m not sure why you’re having the problems you are but if you watch the video you may be able to pick up a few techniques that will help
