- In this video, I wanted to get out one last time and shoot some "cinematic" footage with the trusty ol Sony a6000 before giving it away to one of you guys! This camera has been such a great piece to have in my kit and I honestly owe a lot of my channel's growth to this camera. It's super cheap, lightweight, and packs a huge punch for such a low price. To this day it's still one of my favorite cameras for beginners and I would highly recommend it as a first camera.

i really like keeping the "silent noise" in the video. the breathing, birds, footsteps.. instead of just overlaying music. its a nice vibe!
Thanks Katie! Sound is a huge part of video
I think some of it might actually be added in post instead of being “kept”
Hey hi, i am a beginner, and i just posted a cinematic video.. do you mind checking it out ? your feedback can really help me for my future projects Thank you.

@@jeremyarchambault True, however sound design is best captured rather than simulated. so he very well may have recorded his sound design at location
@@codyandvictoria +1 for comment above mine. I doubt this is the on board internal mic
You're very inspiring, I turned 17 yesterday and I want this exact lifestyle. I'm learning photography and saving up for a camera - I was super happy that you included the ISO, Aperture and Shutter Speed in some of your previous videos because It feels great to understand how magical moments are created. Much love to the both of you.
Just love the look, I learn that it's not just the tools is how you use it
Thank you Cody for this beatiful video. Breathtaking landscapes, i can feel your happines on this journey!
Making this video together was spontaneous and fun! I absolutely love this style of video. Let's do more of it!!! I love you and great job showcasing this awesome camera!

Love this video. I’d like to see videos like this followed up with a “how we shot it” video
I never got tired watching travel videos like this one.. very calm in heart and nostalgic.. good luck to both of you and make more videos.. hoping you a good life..
Such an inspiration. Been following you and studying your videos. I still use the same old setting you recommended a while back. Thanks for the great content and continue to inspire all of us.
Right on man! Dig the pacing; it captured the feel of camping and makes me want to get out there!
This is my favourite kind of content on your channel. Seeing new cameras is cool, but this is beautiful story telling that doesn't make me want to buy things it makes me want to get out on adventures and use the gear I have. Inspiring stuff man.
Damn. I love this comment
Agree
Love what you posted, sick and tired of thinking you always have to go out and keep up with the newest and latest model instead of creating, as an artist and painter, I create constantly so using gear to get out and shoot and enjoy the outdoors is much better than constantly worrying if you have the latest model that might have one small cool feature, but doesn't change the content and the creativity
agree 🖒
Yooo totally agree with that!
Great video Cody and Victoria. It's great seeing a couple who enjoy one another's company and love for the outdoors. Looking forward to your next travel adventure. Safe travels.
Thanks will!
Always loving your videos. Keep em comin. Whatever direction you chose to go with your channel, I will follow. Keep it up Cody & Victoria.
I watch your videos to relax. They are so relaxing.
I just bought a sony a6000 after seeing some of your videos. It's really inspiring how you could produce such good content with this humble camera. So, thank you for the a6000 videos including this one cause it means alot. Cheers!
How is your experience with the camera now ?
Would you suggest me ?
I am interested in this camera
Please reply
Thank you for making these videos. You helped a lot in my move to Sony. Every time I would get frustrated with the cameras I would watch your videos. It's not my cameras fault, it's me. Work harder, shoot more, get better! It's amazing to see what you can do with gear that most people think isn't good enough, and you videos look amazing!
Love the vibe of your videos brother!!!
Calm and relaxing!! The pure feel of those ambient sounds makes it even more amazing.. 🙌 You've shown exactly how its not just about the camera, but how you can use your skill to make it look like a perfect one. Keep more videos like these coming 😇
This footage really makes me understand how big of an Impact the Lens has
not the user?
Skills > lens > camera
The colors this time really gave me a nostalgic vibe 🤗 and I loved the a6000 videos! But I already have an a6500 so i hope someone that needs a camera will win this great camera 🙌🏼
Oh and I think a lot of people/subscribers are really interested in You! At least I am, that's why I think that vlogs with some cinematic parts (not daily but maybe weekly) would be so much fun to watch! Love to see how your channel grew of the time 😄🙏🏻 I'm excited for every new video you gonna make!
The color grading felt so warm and cozy and in the past few videos too. And I like the way your videos are now. You didn't do voice over but a story can be seen. Its amazing.
And thanks giving away your precious camera to one of us. Peace✌
Stunning video as usual. Also, good job getting to the point where you’re able to willingly giveaway your old(isch) gear must feel like such a great achievement. You’ve come a long way! Take care
Mannnn, you just saying bye to this camera, and I can't wait to get my first one, have so many ideas on what to capture 😩😩😍
Love that little camera!! That camera was the reason I also started my journey on this platform. We are going to miss you A6000!
Love this channel and have always appreciated the humble vibe. Looking forward to more tutorial and travel vids!
this camera hast to be the holy grail after you both had such a great time. for me it's like cameras and guitars have a soul and i love experienced souls. like reading a old book with hundreds of adventurer's tales. btw: natural sounds in your videos like steps and breathing makes it really nice.
guys you should start making long movies ! brilliant mides with a great imagination 🙌 one of my favourite channels ! keeps going i hope you can share your voices with all the world! by the way : i have the same camera
Awesome Video as always😍. How did you record the sound for example the steps? They sound really clear and dope. Did you have a external mic or do you used the internal from the a6000?
Internal mic!
what?? unbelievable!! very good job
This was such a beautiful video! Some of the scenes in this just look unreal, amazing work!
Love this video Cody. Always loved that you promoted using the gear you have.
Bro my A6000 will never go out of use, such a good camera 💯
It is
Quality is still mind blowing i think. I use that camera as wel its my first. But it is so professional!
I would love to see a tutorial on the sound editing of those shots
You guys are Amazing! Thank you very much for all a6000 videos, we learned so much from your channel, and we still enjoy the amazing shots! Much Love and Respect for your work ❤🙏🏻
Gotta say man, your style is always changing for the better. Create what makes YOU happy, trust me we enjoy it all! Been following your guys adventures since around 20 to 30k subs on RUclips. I think you will hit 250k before the end of 2020!! Take care brother 🤙🏼🇺🇸
The giveaway has ended! Congrats @whoscottykellz on Instagram for winning the a6000!
The video still look dope. Are you gonna film your own wedding? Haha
@@ChesterBunglay might have the homie Brock Bailey shoot it from Sufo Films. Idk yet. 😂
Very nice pics.. you are awesome
Iam a big fan of Sony A6000,its a pretty decent camera but it was out of my budget. Iam having Canon 750D, not happy with its picture quality.
Cody, surely it my dream camera, I'm one of your subscriber, one of your follower, and one of Victoria follower, u needs a challenge of it I'll do it, I'm from indonesia, i like to see your content and inspired me to be more creative, hopefully i can get it from you, thank you hehe
Is the sound recorded with the internal microphone of the 6000? Sounds so clear
Yes
One more great video, thank you Cody and Victoria for inspiration !
my mom is 63 yo this year. i barely had a chance to travel with her these days. all i wish for this year is i got to travel with her and shoot some videos like you. i knew that i would regret if i didn’t do this with her before she gets too old. i wish you guys have an incredible year too!
I found out from a friend, of a friend, who has a sister, that knows this guy, who know's this girl, that said today just might be your Birthday. Well, in that case. Salute to you.
🎂🎂
IT'S IN MY RECOMMENDED AGAIN BECAUSE IT IS APSC 😆
Dude your videos are freaking amazing. Im new and just in the beginning of the learning curve and hope I can put something out even half as good as your video. You have incredible talent man.
whoop whoop! another slam dunk of a video - you two are awesome people and excited for the future videos!

Guys!! Thank you for this. I’m going on a cross country trip to move to LA soon from NY and I can’t wait to capture it all. This inspires so much!! Btw I loved how you didn’t use a beat, just all ambient atmosphere in this 🙌🏽
Congrats on all the success you have been having. Great work always.
Seriously, if I were a girl, I would love to marry this guy!
Uhh
finaly someone use real aspect ratio
how they do it? is 16:9? i have the 6400 and i can only rec in that ratio
@@amumamatraka8310 Probably 2.35:1, You can record in 16:9 than export your video or create a sequence with this aspect ratio
YO THIS WAS FIRE CODY! Great work MANY! Love this vibe man!
Another great video! Love the shots you took Cody 🔥

Your videos are just awesome Cody, whatever you make would be amazing. I absolutely love watching these type of cinematic videos :)
Great video. Great vibe. Great photo (relaxed & fun w/ awesome light). I always enjoy your content!
Such a serene video. Brings peace & tranquility like mediation.
Since you asked, I love the tutorials, your cinematic shoots, and your vlogs. All 3 keep me coming back to this channel.
Very nice as usual Cody. Thanks for sharing you knowledge to us ! Humm tutorial might be great to see again like editing , shooting , settings , stuff like that ( my opinion ) thanks again Cody .
I saw you and the book in the earlier part of the video and taught what a great moment Cody captured. Great pic!

Love this style of video. The music was just perfect. Sometimes words aren't needed.
I love camping at those springs! Great shots dude

Just watched all your A6000 videos, I'm convinced! Will be buying the camera soon. Thanks for the great footage and informative videos!
Anything that you want to put out I’ll most likely watch! I’ve followed you for a couple months now and I like your style!

Literally so gorgeous
Beautiful video guys! Definitely keep doing these. It sets you apart in a very unique way!

@@codyandvictoria Oh awesome! I've been there and loved it. So beautiful! Can't wait to see what you put together! Best wishes and safe travels!
These are my favorite types of videos that you film. The simplicity, the sound design, BEAUTIFUL! 👍🏻
Thanks Doug! Most of the sound is straight from the camera! Only added maybe... 10 sounds total.
The sounds and the colours are just..sooo .....Good
Just puts me in a place of zen
I love your style of videography I always love to watch your video and I learn a lot from you
I really like this style of edit. Simple but strongly shown up nature vibes and these shaky handheld give it realistic real feeling. Different perspective than perfect stable shots with crazy overused transitions which is popular trend in thees days. Thumb up Cody!
Love videos like this! They inspire creativity and adventure.
Watching videos like this one makes me appreciate more and more the low budget cameras
Thank you so much for the video! It's a blessing
Love the sounds man, great job
This is one of the best and most underrated cameras EVER. And this video shows that you don't need the most expensive gear to make amazing videos. Thanks for sharing.
I loved the way you filmed this! This camera would be great for my California trip next year
As always love your video. Shows you can shoot great content without having the best gear. Love the handheld feel. Do more outdoor stuff! This bought back so many memories of my unforgettable California trip
💯
Cody I love you. Thanks for all the videos you created.
It's so cool to see you guys take a trip out to Mammoth! I visited there this past summer and it was awesome to see your take on filming the same spots that I went to. Those hot springs are in such a great location! Also I'd love see some more videos if this style, and it'd be cool if you included some behind the scenes shots of you guys on location at each spot you're filming at. More like a cinematic vlog so to speak. If you included some tips on how you're actually filming your shots, or if there's any plans you have in your head about what you want to film, would be some really good insight for us viewers. Either way, another great video man, I'm always stoked to watch whatever content you're making!
I liked the calm mood with the music choice !
This is beautiful ✨ Well shot, well edited, and worth every minute of my time. Keeping being awesome
Thanks a ton for taking time to watch it
It's difficult not to have a bad photo when there is already beauty in it!
I really admire you on how you use this camera! superb!
I noticed the wide angle lens you used in the photo! Great choice since you wanted to incorporate the trunk space of the car and the amazing view of the outdoors! Also Victoria reading the book great shot!
amazing job Cody, im always susprised how good your skin tones are
🙏
The video was amazing and you should do a mixture of vlogs and tutorials. Love you guys💗
Yeah bro definitely need more of these vids on the channel! Keep the vlogs & tutorials coming too, but this is my vibe right here!
#vibez
So beautiful ❤️ thank you guys!
I really love my a6000! You inspired me to buy it! Thanks for everything you have done with this camera! 🙂
Absolutely loved it. You guys are so cool!
Cody, it’s been really quite a long time I watch your videos and I just discovered now that I wasn’t even subscribed ! 🤭
Thank you RUclips algorithms for proposing me your vids!😄
Well at least that’s done now!
What I love about you and your style ? The VIBE you put in your work. So much peace and balanced atmosphere...
I’ve been only using my smartphone to film so far and I will hopefully step up soon with a real camera!
This a6000 would do my day!
Thank you to both of you Cody and Victoria, wish you all deserved success and tons of HAPPINESS !
✨🤞👋
Awesome video as always 👍 keep them coming 👏
So crispy my g! Love it as always :)
I like the new style! As for the direction of the channel, I think the obvious answer is all of the above. The vlogs are great, the cinematic trip videos are beautiful and tips and tips are always good. It's your video that convinced me to get the weebill s.
Speaking of which, In my completely non professional opinion, I think a little camera movement is great. It adds something to the videos. At the same time, too much can be distracting. So a little gimbal or stabilization mixed in with the natural handheld shots can be a good thing.
Ugh I wish 😭😍 such beautiful shots!!
Its amazing what you can do with some of the most basic equipment. Keep up the good work.
