I made this today. It is a little tricky but do-able. I find it hard to keep the square wire from twisting, but they are so pretty when they stay straight and smooth. Thank you for this tutorial!
This is exactly what I needed to see. I went out yesterday and bought square 20g wire to practice frames.
I’m scared I won’t be able to hold on but going to try it! Looks so sleek and smooth, thank you!
Yay a new tutorial!!! Heck yes! Thank you Lady! Gorgeous piece!!!
Love the simplicity of this! I'll probably end up using some painter's tape while making this to try to keep the stone from slipping.
You can also use painter's tape on your tools to minimize tool marks on the wire.
BEUTIFUL AND NOT TO HARD TO DO IT. THANK YOU FOR SHARING
Beautiful piece; yes you do have to do alot of manipulation with the wire but look what you presented. Fantastic!!!
It's allways trial and error with this kind of work😫but we persevere; and as the bajans say "every spoil is a fashion" Good work
Thank you very much!
Very pretty design and lovely stone 💚
Thank you so much 😊
Excellent tutorial for those of us with three hands! LOL!!! You made it look very easy and I am sure that I will practice it several times!
That's beautiful thank you for these tutorials I'm just starting out in wire jewellery making ❤
EVERYTHING YOU MAKE IS ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL.
YOU ARE SO INSPIRING.
I LOVE HOW YOU EXPLAIN EVERYTHING IN SUCH DETAIL
& SO THOROUGHLY.
IT'S PERFECT FOR BEGINNERS LIKE MYSELF.
YOU'RE SUCH AN EXCELLENT TEACHER & I EASILY ABSORB HOW YOU TEACH.
SO YOU HAVE YOUR OWN SPECIAL PLAYLIST IN MY SAVED VIDEOS. LOL👍👌😉
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR EVERYTHING 💎💖💎
Thank you Oxana, what a gorgeous design to display a beautiful stone. You really rock girl! Thank you for sharing your beautiful work. We can't thank you enough💞👼
I Love the simple look. It's Absolutely Beautiful. Thank's so much for sharing. 💜💜💜💜
Great job! Thanks for sharing.🌞
Simple and totally stunning :) ❤️ it really shows off the stone beautifully :)
Some painters tape might help if you're having trouble holding the stone in place. I have to do that when I'm starting a tree of life wrap.
One of the hardest wirewraps I've ever tried! You must have steel fingers! .... (Still love you, and your video tutorials though!)
This one is tough on the hands you are so right! I think my fingers have toughened up from all these years of wire wrapping.
Tried this just now with some rounded wire but did some weaving on it. Didn't turn out the way I wanted. Guess I need more practice. Thank you so much for the tutorial
What a new and simplified way to creat e a design? Thank you so much for your tutorials OxanaCrafts it really means much to me
Very creative...unique
Beautiful design! I'm eager to make one.
Thoroughly enjoy and learn from your tutorials. Have you done any Viking knit wire wrapping tutorials?
Thank you! I haven't because I tried viking knit a long time ago and just did not have the patience for it
OMG! You're a genious artist! I just love what you do, I'm totally impressed! Thank you for sharing!
Love the nice clean look of this. Pretty stone!
Nice job
Love it!

Beautiful ocean jasper , love the wrap 😊❤️✌🏻, need to try square wire
Muy bonito , gracias
Put a sharpie mark on the wire to know exactly where to wrap the wires and pull tight.
wow! see you working it's like see magic!!! Love this design! :o)
Hi Oxana, do you think it would work with other shaped stones, trying to figure out how to do a diamond shaped cabochon. It's a labradorite and I'd love to show off its beauty. Could you have any ideas?
It should work with diamond shape stone, I also recently tried teardrop and it worked
Another Beautiful piece!! Thank you!! Blessings, G’ma ❤️🙏🌀✨🤗
(You can buy those exact round nose pliers on Amazon for $13 !?? Odd. Two different price’s same plier!?)
Thank you! Yes the pliers I use and have the Amazon link for under the video are about $13 right now. I think they have always been around that price since I've been buying them. They also make similar pliers that are also blue but they are serrated not smooth, so you just have to be careful not to get the wrong ones.
Oxana I love your videos, you're a great teacher and your designs are beautiful. I'm new to wire wrapping and I get frustrated by tool marks on my wire. As I gain experience I am learning to minimize them, but I'm curious about your view of them - e.g. Are they unavoidable to some degree? If I hope to eventually sell them, do my would-be customers expect zero tool marks? Is there any way to minimize the look of them once they're there? Thank you!
IT is pretty hard to avoid tool marks 100%, I get them too. If they are too deep or too noticeable I use some fine sand paper to buff them out. The really small marks gets buffed out usually when I oxidize and polish
I can’t do it, tried 4 times and on the second time going through I can’t get the stone back in, maybe when I get better. Lovely though.
fantastic,thank you!!!
Oxana, do you have any tutorials for drilled stones? Thank you
yes I have lots of tutorials for beads
Beautiful ❤️💕🇩🇰
Is it ocean jasper stone . how much does it cost.
Yes it is Ocean Jasper, I can't remember what price I purchased it for as it was long ago
